Dec 31, 2012My issues since Jelly Bean upgrade. the email client that came with my Maxx HD does not auto sync anymore, my AOL email does not sync at all even after i double check for the right password. I keep getting an error "The password and username you entered did not authenticate with your email provider." I never got this error prior to the Jelly Bean Update. I even changed my password for my aol account and entered the new password in the phone. where the hell did speed dials go.

Nov 21, 2012Since updating to Jelly Bean, the automatic brightness feature is downright terrible. It makes using my phone on a daily basis extremely frustrating. It is too aggressive when switching between bright / dim modes, and tends to make the brightness "flicker." I also wish the phone didn't bump the screen brightness up / down rapidly. Why can't it gently fade it?

I would like to wipe my cache.I am able to power down the phone, hold both volume buttons, power on the phone, and choose "Recovery" from the black & white (bootloader?) menu. The phone proceeds to the screen with the Android character lying on his back with the red triangle showing. However I cannot get any menu options to appear as I could with ICS by holding down both volume buttons.Has anyone been able to get the "cache/date wipe" menu options to appear on the red triangle screen?

Jan 20, 2013I don't care if its not an HD resolution display, or if some apps are not compatible because of the Intel Chip.But I can't really buy a Razr I if I will not be able to install/move apps to the SD card, I can't have only 5Gb for Apps! Specially now that some apps/games can take around 600mb-1gb of space. I know some apps need to be on the internal memory, but most not.
So my question is, will this be addressed with the Jelly Bean update? If so, I think this is the phone for me, if not I guess I'll have to keep looking for another one.

Feb 7, 2013Yesterday I found that my Razr I can be updated to 4.1.2. I was very happy about that and updated the phone. After that I found one missed feature. Cannot move your applications to SD with Razr I. But it was the feature to move pictures and videos and some docs to SD automatically (in "settings - storage" area). So I could use this feature to move pics made by some apps and stored in to main memory automatically to SD card. Now it is not available any more. How can I perform this action with Jelly Bean? I have to do it manually now, connected phone to PC.

Aug 31, 2012I got a notification for update to Android 4.0.4 for MotorolaXYBoard WiFi in the US.
I tried three time and the installation failed. Unit is well connected to his docking station and strong wifi signal. Download was OK.
After the ANDROID icom appear and install started, I got a yellow triangle and after then a message that the install failed. The fact that I'm not in the USA righ now, could be a problem for the dowload ? I tried 3 times.

Dec 1, 2011Android OS keeps using 35 to 45% of the battery. My droid, DroidX, and Thunderbolt never used that much. This is the culprit for such a horrible battery life. I have the wifi off now and gps off when im not using it and it still has issues holding the charge for awhile. I wish I could delete the motocast account to see if that is the issue but I cant. Could it be smart actions that is causing the thing to continually search for triggers and wear battery? Or is it motocast? I don't use motocast or the stock music app ever and my mac is off too. So I want to know why the android OS is eating this battery up. Is there some fix on the way? I deleted every app and it still will show that android OS as the main battery hog by a lot. I only have gmail I don't have facebook updating anything so I really don't know what's going on.. I do know that when i used cpu spy the 300 megahertz was used for longer than the phone was in deep sleep. So something is using the CPU in that range non stop it seems.
