In the last month I've experienced that my phone and smartband keeps dropping the connection. On the phone it shows as eather and x over the smartband icon, or that the SmartBand apps says 'Connecting' without anything happens. Some times it's enough to turn of the smartband other times i need to reboot the phone to get the connection up and running.
Â
I've got all the altest SW for Z5 (32.0.A.6.200) - SmartBand (05.00.12 - 1.7.0.873) and Lifelog (2.9.A.3.8)Since I use the smartband to wake me up in the morning, it's very enoying that it don't work. Until now I've managed to wake up by myself...The phone is charging over night, and in the cradle, with the sound turned of. The phone is turned of with the exeption for notifications. The phone is set to vibrate and make a soft low sound. The Smartband is set to vibrate. If the connection is droped during the night, neighter the phone nor the smartband gives any indication on the alarm.
Â
I've experienced that the phone and the smartband is vibrating, but there are no sound from the phone. Another version is that the phone is vibrating and making a sound, but the smartband don't vibrate. Before going to sleep i check that the phone is turned down, and that the connection to the smartband is OK.
Every time that I have been connected to WiFi my phone drops 3G connection.
The only way to get it to reconnect is to restart the phone. After restart the 3G is working perfect for as long as i have been able to test it, but as soon as i connect to WiFi it stops again.

Bluetooth communication with my dell laptop was lose after 30 second even if i made the duration of availability is ultimate. Also id and manufacturing of mobile ( mobile information) is not registered
Is it purposely designed that Z3+ dual automatically drops data connection in calls? or it's just something wrong with my phone? For me it is necessary to go online while talking on the phone at the same time. I've tried to deactivate one of the SIM and the same problem persists.Â
I have an Xperia PLAY R800at with 2.3.3. Whenever I'm using my bluetooth device and reconnect to my wifi network, I lose bluetooth packets for 5-6 seconds. This does not happen when I compare against the Nexus S sitting right next to the Xperia PLAY.
This is a really bad problem, and is probably going to result in me not using my PLAY at all.
I use Polar Flow app to synchronize my training sessions from Polar V800 to the web:Â Polar V800 - bluetooth 4.0 - mobile - [URL] ....
I have upgraded from Z3 compact to Z5 compact. Nothing else changed. Since then the synchronization is almost impossible. The syncing process fails after 30-60 seconds every time. If I am lucky the current training session can be uploaded to the mobile after 5-10 attempts.Â
Bluetooth HCI snoop log was fine on Z3 compact but not on Z5 compact. Wireshark detected some inconsistencies in the Z5C's bluetooth log: it has been cut short in the middle of a packet. So I think the bluetooth connection drops very often during data transfer.Â
I have established bluetooth recognition on my MacBook Pro and iPhone. But it won't hold the connection for more that a second. The message on my computer says the iphone bluetooth is off or out of range. Neither of these are true. Any thoughts about why bluetooth connection continues to drop?
I have an e71-3 on the '3' network.I can connect my phone to my laptop and use it as a modem, using the USB cable... but it ALWAYS drops out. It hasn't made it to 1 hour of connection time yet -> and dropped out about 30 times before one hour.Average seems to be at around 25 minutes, but, last night was 47 minutes, and this morning i checked at 15minutes 30secs and it had already dropped out.Is this something that updating firmware can fix? Or am I just left with a stuffed phone that I can't use as a modem? Is it worth trying a different program to connect to the internet? (I doubt it?).
I've had the phone since Monday and have not had a pleasant experience in terms of signal. I manage a little over 300 lines for my company so I know what our signal is and isn't in places. All of our phones typically get great 4G signal and 3G signal around here and especially inside the building. Since I've had the Bionic though it's been really flaky as a lot of others have mentioned. 4G just seems to drop a lot. I've done a lot of speed tests (both on the phone and also tethered to a laptop) and the biggest inconsistency is the upload speed. I am getting 0.05mbps on my upload, but closer to 5-6 on download. The phone itself has been fine, all apps work, speeds are good when browsing actually works and the network doesn't drop. I called Verizon today and he had me check the box for data roaming which was not on by default. So far the signal has been pretty solid where it doesn't drop but it didn't make any changes to my speeds.
I have a Thunderbolt here that gets 20 megabit plus on both uploads and downloads so I know speeds in this area are fine. The Verizon tech pointed me to an update in November that *should* address something with 4G but he wasn't clear on what exactly that was. One other issue I've been having is Wifi. It takes a long time to detect that I am close to my access point. Are others seeing the same issues with uploads that I am or do I possibly had a device with a bad radio?
I have iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and I'm experiencing a Bluetooth issue with my 2013 BMW 3-series. iOS randomly drops the Bluetooth connection (Hands Free) to my BMW during a phone call. The phone call is not dropped, but it still goes on in the iPhone, but the Bluetooth connection simply drops.Â
I have updated the BMW Connected Driver to the latest version from URL.... and it does..I suspect the issue is at the iOS side, since I'd day that the iOS 7.1 update introduced it and I did not have the issue with iOS 7.0.Â
I have serious connectivity issues with my Nexus 5. Most of the time I am only picking up 2G signal, sometimes the connection drops completely. However, I had a very unstable 3G/H/LTE connection for a few minutes sometimes in the last days. This started after changing the battery and upgrading from Cyanogenmod 12 to 12.1. Unfortunately I did both changes at the same time, so I am not sure what caused this problem.
The following things I could rule out/test: - Another phone (Nexus 4) picks up H+ with my sim - My phone doesn't pick up 3G/H/LTE with another (working) sim - I have checked the connections of the both cables running alongside the battery, I also checked the cables itself. - I fiddled with the apn settings, also I never touched them before and everything worked fine. - I have updated the radio image.
The one thing I couldn't try is flashing an older cyanogenmod 12, because I have no backup and couldn't find one online.
I have BB9780 (v6.0.0.285) when Im connected to wifi whether at home any where else it keeps disconnecting every minute or two even though its not in standby mode. I cannot download larger files or watch video stream most of the time because wifi connection dropping from my device, and if I download through carrier it will cost me a lot. I tried to reset network but no use.
When i use LTE I get full bars and everything works fine for a couple of minutes. Then I lose connection. I can not open any webpages, update Twitter or anything else. The bars are full and the 4G icon is there. If I run a couple of apps like LTE Discovery or Network Signal Strength, they both show that I am connected with good quality. But nothing on the internet works. I have checked the APN. It is correct.
If I deactivate cellular data and switch it on again, I have connection for a few minutes again.
If I set it to 3G only, everything is working fine.
I have tested my sim in my wife's iPhone and it works fine, no connection drops.
The phone has been laying around for a while. I just started using it again, but I can not get what could cause this behavior.
My E72 is no longer connecting to the NM service, it just keeps prompting for passwords for all the accounts and drops the connection. On going to email.nokia.com and logging in with my account details I now just get:"We are unable to process your request at this time. Try again later."I've been getting this for several days now.
sing an unlocked Lumia 800, on operator Claro BR. I have noticed that sometimes the phone downgrades my data connection speed to EDGE and it only shows up the HSPA icon again if I turn off-on the phone. I have tried turing the data connection off and on but it does not work.I noticed that it is more common for it to drop the data connection speed when I go from home to work or vice-versa (it probably changes to another cellular network antenna). But even if I stay in a single location, after a few hours the connection drops too.
I'm not sure if this is a new issue or it has happened all the time and I just now noticed it. My Nexus 5 will drop wifi connection for just a split second every few minutes. I created a Tasker profile to do something whenever it connected to my wifi, and the profile kept firing constantly. I finally realized my phone was dropping wifi connection. It immediately reconnects, and it is so fast I wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't for Tasker. It is fast enough that it doesn't affect my Pandora streaming.
I have tried rebooting the phone, the router, etc., but the problem persists. I don't think it is a router issue, because my Galaxy Nexus doesn't have the same troubles.
I just recently bought a new BlackBerry Bold 9000, and this is the only BlackBerry I have ever owned. When I opened it it did not have a plan currently activated on it. I as able to access the internet through Wi-Fi, however the connection will randomly drop and then reconnect frequently.
So at first I thought that the Razr had a weak WiFi reception. So I decided to install a WiFi access point in my office, basically on my desk. I connected the Razr to it but yet, it still occasionally shows a low signal or drops the connection completely then reconnects, works for a bit then drops it again. I'm at a point where I had to turn WiFi off on my phone because it was draining my battery so fast from flipping between the Cellular network and WiFi network way to often. I also have a Glaxy Tab 7.0 Plus connected to the same access point and it never drops a connection and it shows 100% strong on the signal.
I have been using my iphone 5 since the last 9 months. The wifi just worked fine at home when connecting with the wifi router. It also worked fine everywhere I went where there was a wifi zone. Since the last 7 days or so I am facing a sudden problem. When connecting to my home Wifi, it shows full signal strength, yet the internet connection drops. At times, even whatsapp does not work, cannot send images most of the times. Apple store, iTunes and emails stops working mostly. I have reset my wireless router recenty and still this problem persists. There does not seem to be any problem with the router because other devices like my laptop and other mobile phones are working fine with wifi.
am completely new here and completely new to the smart phone. It's just that all my other Sony phones, the alarm worked (and calendar reminder) when the phone was switched off, to wake me up ect. Is there a way to activate this so that it will work, or does the phone have to be switched on to use this facility
the problem is the connection gprs is start automatically , when i use the chat or nimbuzz or ebuddy the gprs start automatically i can't work the apliquation with WLAN !
I can't get past the checking connection stage on my phone. I live behind great CHinese Firewall. When I first got the phone I set it up at work which has a VPN-ized network. I waited until my holidays (now) to unlock, root, etc.
However, I do not have access to vpns that are router based - only computer based. I can't seem to share these connections to get the Nexus to register and check a connection - phone times out rather than taking suggested 2 minutes. I can't seem to skip the process either. I CAn't get back to work at the moment so I am left with 'Couldn't connect to the Internet' message and of course LTE won't work either as it's behind the great firewall.
At the moment I have several wifi networks which have higher priority than the gprs data connection. But when i start web browsing it automatically chooses the gprs connection. Why is that?
I have a Xperia Neo V and I recently updated it to latest version (ICS European) with PC Companion.Since the update, the battery is being inaccurate, it suddenty drops from 21% to 1%.
Network continously drops without any reason. Checked with my service, full strengh areas.Time without connection reaches 25%.I have read it's a 4.0.4 version bug on some phones.
My battery level was around the 50% mark, and then I went to lok at my gallery and whilst I was viewing pics it dropped straight away to 1% and told me to charge my phone..........So I plug in the charger and it goes straight back to 47%. It has done this twice, why?
The phone battery indicator works fine till 18% to 100%. The battery level drops to 18% fine, but after that battery level drops suddenly to 1% & moment later phone shut down.
I found on net that its becuase of battery miscalibration. There are solution to reset calibrations for rooted phones, but as my phone is not rooted is there any way to reset battery calibration ?
My Z5P Â drops WiFi constantly. Looses contact, everywhere. In 5min it can happen 3-5times.While no one else with for example Iphone looses. It also happens frequently in public wifi places, and its really annoying.
I bought a Z5C for my wife, but I am withholding it fo test purposes because I own a Z3c... As per title, if I use it while charging the battery's charge drops or, at best, doesn't improve.
I had already:
-Tried more usb cables, including those one which came along our phones. -Tried more chargers: my usual z3c charger, my MacBook Pro, my iPad's charger, a no-name wall charger rated for 1Ampere; -Repaired with bridge for Mac; -Restored to factory defaults, effect of which turned out to be more or less like "Repair" procedure;Â
I don't' have strange applications running, I don't play games, mail synchronization is manual. It's like my phones are on perpetual holidays. Â More over: I used it just to surf the web and take a dozen of shot with the camera set at 8MP, so nothing really challenging. The phones back heats but not really that much.
