Xperia Z5 :: Capturing Photo Directly In WhatsApp Is Very Slow
Jul 22, 2015
When I try to capture a photo inside Whatsapp application, it's very slow :
When I Click on Virtual Button on Screen inside Whatsapp, it doesn't save it rapidly but it does it very slow, letting pass 1 or 2 seconds to see the photo has saved ...
It happens with the latest application Whatsapp 2.12.399 !
I think it's because of sensor not perfectly integrated into other apps.
I am observing that when I touch on screen on camera mode to take picture, it first flashes and zooms a bit and take picture.By the time it does all the actual posture is going away because of slowness. I used to observe this in other brand phones and really hard to digest in xperia neo it is happening. Is this correct behavior ? or anything can be done. Irrespective of flash light, there is couple of seconds delay while taking picture.
Ive deleted data and restored.uninstalled social and re-installed.I then send 2 pics straight from taking a photo and it loads to facebook and then NOTHING.
Everytime i have tried doing something different to get it to work it only ever works once or twice before failing forever. My partner has never had a problem.
This is one of the main 4 reasons for getting this phone and its beeping me off now, well its been beeping me off since i got the phone.Free beer for anyone that solves the problem
i couldn't find any option 'bout this. i have downloaded music from my amazon music account and i want to move them in my micro sd. even my photo, i can really find a way to move them in ext memory... and i really want to know if there's a way to make it directly everytime i take a picture or download a song/album.
Just started my journey with 1520 for a week, I come across 2 issue,
1. In the whatsapp application, when you choose "take a picture" in the attachment tab, the camera flash always light up for focusing even you inhibited in setting.
2. When using lumia camera, cant share photo via whatsapp in the pic review tab.
I just want to confirm if others have the same problem on sending photos on whatsapp by using Gallery. I am not able to send any photos as attachment in whatsapp when using Gallery app. However, if I long hold the gallery icon, it enable me to choose Photos app and send the file from that app. Feels so annoying have to long hold the icon everytime I want to send photos.
As soon as I opened my N900 box, and found that cable for TV connecting, I was thinking, could it be possible to use this phone as video capturing device directly from video cam?Second thought was "that would also make fine monitoring device on the field".I know that I can connect this phone to some sort of network with my computer, and via that to get it to be a computer monitor if I like.My camcoder can send video through that TV-cable, so could it be possible?
I always capture raw (rather than jpeg) images with my digital camera. Post processing raw files in Lightroom gives me greater exposure latitude and dynamic range. This is the one thing I miss from my LG G3. I'd love to see Samsung include this capability in a firmware update.
I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work 2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work 3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work. 4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem. Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.
Is there a way to dial a contact directly from the Messaging App? For example, I get an SMS message and go to read it. I want to call that person. I have to tap on their name on the top of the screen, then I have to wait, then I am taken to their contact information, where I have to select a number to call. Is there a way to simply call them from the Messaging app without all the other steps? My previous old phone I could just hit the phone button and bingo the phone would call the number. The menu doesn't have a Call contact option, but maybe I'm missing something. What about an add on app that adds the option?
I'm new to xperia x10 mini pro, I've had quite a tough time getting some things done easily, all sofware I've downloaded have been installed on the phones memory, and the phones memory is full. I have an 8 gig SD card but how to install my apps directly on the SD card. I am using android version 2.1.
My brend new X10 under Android 2.3.3 blue sparks build works fine, except one little big thing :I do not receive any calls, they are all directly transfered to the responder without any ringtone !i just have a notification and a green led lightning, then i can call the responder, the vocal message is there ....Is there a "mode" setting possibility ?? except "plane" I don't see any parameter like "car" or "silencious"?
I just noticed whenever I capture whatever on video doesn't matter if its 720p , or 4K, there is this background noise sound rustling like that doesn't stop, like there is some kind of machine operating....
Sometimes i have a problem with whatsapp on my xperia z3 that when i go to sleep and turn off all the data/network connections and start them again in the morning, whatsapp will tell me that my message log got corrupted and if i want to reload a previous backup. It doesn't appear every time i do so, but still up to one time in two weeks.
Before buying Z5 premium dual, I had been using Z. In Z, I was able to have Whatsapp messages appear in the notification bar WITHOUT any sound. That allows me to see the messages without triggering the blue ticks.
Now in Z5p, I am not able to do the same. From the settings available, I only have two choices:
1. Whenever there's a whatsapp message, it pops up at the top of the screen WITH sound, then it remain in the notification bar.
2. By choosing to block it, nothing will ever pop up, there is no sound, and there will be nothing at all in the notification bar.
What I want is "showing up in the notification bar" + "NO sound", is it possible to do this?
I have read some forum posts in which people suggested to turn to silent mode. But in this case I won't be able to hear phone calls so it's not feasible.
since the last update 23.4.A.1.232 on my Z3, whatsapp web stopped working correctly. If I keep the phone in stand-by, after 10 minutes or so, the app stop to communicate with the world. That means that I will not recieve any notification about incoming messages unless I turn on the screen. Otherwise, if I use whatsapp only, it works just fine.
I have Experia Z3 and i face issue during a call, the screen transmitted directly to the black color, then i lost control of the calling and I can not end the call or transfer the calling through the speaker or use the number pad, i already formatted the device but the issue still not solved.
My grandson has been fiddling with my xperia x10mini and now when i write messages using whatsapp, the text doesn't wrap, it just goes off to the left in one long line. Anyone know how to change this back... there must surely be a way as it never used to be like that. Ordinary text messages are fine.
i cant download whatsapp on my phone, i keep on getting this thing that i need android os 2.1...tried getting it tru pc companion but it keeps telling me my phone is up to date.
I would like to disable the push-up notifications that Whatsapp shows in my navigation panel, even those that say: "New message from XX". I've tried to do it through Whatsapp settings but I couldn't. Is there any other options? It would also accept to disable the navigation panel, but I don't know if that is possible.
I am a first time user of Sony, and Xperia Z5 is my first phone. I got it on 26th October and I have used iPhones and Samsung phones previously.
I tried tweaking both phone settings and app settings and the pin/pattern unlock was the initial problem that I found.
The "swipe" to unlock is now my primary screen unlock method with no security procedure in place.
Thing is that i still sometimes don't get the notifications under "screen lock" mode for these 3rd party apps even i chose to show all notification content under phone settings.
I only get them when I have swiped to unlock my phone, and a whole chunk of notifications start popping up.
Phone Version: 5.1.1 When Device is locked >> Show all notification content WhatsApp Popup notification >> Only when screen "off" Line settings >> Display Pop-ups when screen ON "OFF" Display Pop-ups when screen OFF "Simple"
I do not want this yelllow bubble with the number 8 to show up whenever I receive messages. How can I hide it or at least lock whatsapp so that only I can use it?
We have free wifi for mobile devices at our workplace. The only problem is that they've restricted the use of Whatsapp. (I'm reluctant to be without it for 9 hours a day since it's my main communication tool with my children). I heard there's a way of changing a setting for whatsapp on your phone that if it can't come through on wifi, then it will automatically switch to your data and messages will be transmitted this way.
