I just noticed whenever I capture whatever on video doesn't matter if its 720p , or 4K, there is this background noise sound rustling like that doesn't stop, like there is some kind of machine operating....

Meed getting the following video played fluently without it being stuck after few seconds while the sound is still playing? Make sure you set this video quality to 1440p.
There was no such problem with this video in Lollipop, apparently. Any chance factory reset will fix that?
How to save a pic sent to me via SMS using the stock Marshmallow messaging app? I'm not sure if it's related to the actual messaging app or related to the app that views the pic once you've tapped on it. I.E the Media Player, Google's Photo's or MOTO's Gallery app.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOne of the reasons the speakers sounded good was the global settings for sound environments and EQ for headphone jack and speakers. Makes no sense for an update that makes the sound less on this device. PowerAmp has EQ settings, but this does not work for other apps or videos. Not having the global settings is a negative.
The settings for some reason are now located in the Play Music app. It is the same settings and appears to still be global. If it were linked to the Play Music app, I should not be able to mess with settings when the Play Music app is disabled, but I can. I created a shortcut to the Audio Effects with QuickShortcut (handy app!).
Audio Effects are accessible with the QuickShortcut app, so no need for the Play Music app.
Upgraded from my 2013 Moto X. I use the cast screen feature to play music onto my Samsung smart TVs. Same internet access (UVerse). Never had an issue with screen lagging or sound skipping, even when using the 2013 Moto X for other activities while music is playing. With the new XPE it's horrible, even when it's just sitting on my desk. Is my WiFi direct not set up properly? I also feel my Google drive and Yahoo email app are incredibly slow now. I don't want to return this otherwise great phone, but it's not performing how I thought it would.
View 5 Replies View RelatedInstalled the OTA update earlier and now I have a speaker volume problem. The volume level is turned up but the sound fades away after a couple seconds. On a video if I paused it and then hit play again the volume would go back up and then fade. Navigation did this each time a direction was given. Bluetooth speaker and wired headphones did not have the problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.
Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.
Is it possible to isolate/capture on frame from a video taken on an iphone, and use the one frame as a picture/image? How is that accomplished?

It is some kind of a MS/Nokia ad and is present behind all screens in all apps (it is barely visible when using bright theme), it displays the text: Windows Phone 8 41MP revolutionary camera touch here. Below that text is some undistinguishable graphic:
I always capture raw (rather than jpeg) images with my digital camera. Post processing raw files in Lightroom gives me greater exposure latitude and dynamic range. This is the one thing I miss from my LG G3. I'd love to see Samsung include this capability in a firmware update.

View 8 Replies View Related I have one day left before I can return this phone and I just discovered that it does not even see my bit30 nes controller or my sharkk Bluetooth speaker. I have used these devices countless times on my OG X and my nexus 10 (both on 5.1.1) without issue. I have a nexus player and it sees that fine (haven't had a chance to try to connect it yet).
I did some research and all I can find to try is to put it in safe mode and try pairing. It still doesn't see either.Is there anything else I can try? If I can't get this resolved by tomorrow, I am sending it back permanently because I don't want to play risky games with the replacement they will send me.

I have since disabled the developer's option but it still will not recognise any bt devices..
I'm running Nova launcher and have checked those settings as well as the X's settings and can't find out how to get rid of the vibration when sliding to unlock.

Every hour my phone will go off telling me I have a new one, but when I access my voicemail there are no messages. I'm on Sprint, and I've called their support and they've walked me through everything from resetting my voicemail to reprogramming the Sprint code in the phone, but it still won't go away.

One problem I'm having though is the seeming inability to turn on or off vibration when I get notifications. I used to use my phone in one of three ways:
1) Outdoors - Ringers/notifications on full volume, plus vibration
2) Indoors - Ringers/notifications quieter, no vibration
3) Bedtime - Ringers on but quiet, notifications silent, no vibration
I can't seem to get anything close to this. Even when I've gone into individual apps and turned off the vibration setting, it still vibrates! And this motor is almost as loud as the sounds!
When I get a new message from WhatsApp it doesn't notify on the top bar, it appears just the icon for this app. If this icon is already there, it doesn't change anything if I've received a new message, (I've to check pulling down the bar to see if I received new messages and who has sent it). My older cellphone used to show the message "Message from..." for like a few seconds, so I could see instantaneously when I'd got new messages.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm listening to music, either through Bluetooth or the phone's speakers (haven't tested this with headphones), and I get a Google Voice call through Hangouts, the music will pause while the phone rings, but a second or two after I answer the call, the music will start playing again. It's much quieter and awful quality, but still loud enough for the other person to hear and drown out their voice.
I'll answer the phone and start talking, then the music starts playing again and I have to tell that person to hold on a second while I pull the phone away from my face to pause the music. It's extremely annoying and it's never happened on any other Android device I own.
When my phone vibrates you can really hear the vibration, so if the phone is in my pocket and it vibrates someone next to me would be able.to hear it.Is the vibration suppose to be loud that way?
