I only got EDGE using Tmobile while my other phone Xpeira Z1 can get LTE at the same location. I did set the APN manually [URL] .... since the auto download "Internet & MMS settings" didn't work. I tried to update the phone using "Update Center" but it said I have the most updated version already.
I am getting a keyboard issue in xperia pro after update. The QWERTY keyboard has got changed to AZERTY after i updated to Android 4.0.4 ICS firmware. how to correct this back urgently. Is it possible to roll back to Gingerbread?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy friend has an i4 4.0 jailbroke from jailbreakme. After jailbreak everything work fine for him. He had MMS working fine he could send and receive MMS no problems. Well the other day he tried to send an MMS and it wouldn't send out. It tries to send and the little bar on the top when you send a message comes up and it goes about 95 percent of the way and stops then he gets the red explanation mark after about 1 minute. So it doesn't go through. He has tried the Iphone Delivery repo and it didn't work, he has reset his network settings didn't work. Was wondering if anyone had any other advice? His facetime works fine no problems there. I assume the next step is a restore which he already knows but he is trying to fix it without restoring.

I'm randomly getting this message in a grey box in the middle of the screen on my AT&T 950: "Restart Required. Your Phone's settings or the SIM card have changed. Restart your phone to complete the installation." Then there are two buttons - "Restart" and "Later". Its not consistent, but I just rebooted as it said, launched the phone app and it appeared again. It doesn't seem to be affecting any functionality though. It appears to have started once I installed the SD card. In fact, I'd argue that a lot of the glitches on my 950 started after I installed the SD card.

had it in my pocket whislt I was walking round, and when I sat down at a restaurant and looked at it, and it was almost like the phone had just died, but the screen didn't light up and the LED didn't flash. I charged it up fully the night before and i know that when the battery is flat it flashes yellow, but it was doing nothing.When I got home i tried charging it, but nothing and then I plugged it into my laptop to try a retrive all of my stuff on there but again nothing!

When I first opened the Facebook app it showed the correct font I chose but then once I closed out and went in a second time the font is the normal font. Everything else on my phone shows the "Rosemary" font except Facebook. I called Samsung and they told me it had to be an issue with Facebook but yet 5 of my friends that have an S5 don't have any problems!

Having mild hearing loss I loved the fact that with this phone my ringtones and notification sounds could wake up the dead. For normal situations I would have to slide the volume controls to the mid point of the slide bar, but when I was in a noisy environment I could slide the controls all the way to the right and be sure I wouldn't miss a call. Now after the upgrade it seems like even with the slider controls all the way to the right the volume is no where nearly as loud as it used to be.
Is this just me or did Moto make a change with the update? If so is there anyway to get back to the pehnenomal speaker performance we had under ICS?
I have an iPhone 5c and today my settings changed automatically by themselves and when I have attempted to change them back they will not stick. Â Specifically my battery percentage has disappeared and my message settings have changed as well. I had my settings to where there would be no message preview but now there is a preview and I am unable to change them back when I select those options. I change the setting back to how it was but then it reverts to how it automatically changed. Â

I have changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

I just tried to update my iPhone 4S to the newest version (7.1.2 or .3?) and after my phone restarted it stayed on the loading screen (you know the one, the apple symbol and a loading bar) and it has stayed on the same point in the bar for at least an hour. the update is only 26 mg so it shouldn't have taken this long, and i have no way of making my phone responsive again.

However, under "Settings - Language&Keyboard" there is NO menu item for Android keyboard.... As it appears, she uses the standard T3 enty mode and simple does not like the recommended words. There is no way to set it back now and I am thinking about playing it back to 1.6 despite the advantages coming with it.
Is there another way to change this setting?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi had OS 5.0.0.5 and yesterday i decided to update it to .822 so i could put Hybrid Willyboy v.2 on my phone ( by the way i have a 8520 Gemini). I did manage to update it to version .822 and at first i didnt notice anything wrong with my phone, so i tried to put the hybrid on it but since i didnt manage to put the hybrid on my first try, i decided to give it a shot in the morning and go to bed since it was really late. And now i cant make calls nor get any, because it says Invalid SIM Card, already tried taking off the battery and cleaning a bit my sim with an eraser but when the phone starts it all appears to be fine but within a couple of minutes it gives me the same error!!

In previous versions the media volume was separated from ringtone volume. I see 3 possible reasons for this behavior: I need to change a setting. The volume management has been changed for ICS.

However, I noticed that I am unable to listen to music, I can't hear my phone ringing, The receiver of my calls cannot hear my voice (low sound), No sound on notifications, no sound for the alarm and slower wifi connection. I can only obtain sounds if I connect to an earset. For your information, volumes settings were checked and found to be set at almost 80% max level. Is there a change in the sound settings?
Today as I was listening to the radio (thru an app), i wanted to unblock it and the screen didn't react, I could rise and lower the volume and I tried to plug it to the charger and the light that appears when charging, worked too but the screen kept being black.

In a first moment i noticed that if I pressed the screen or the back of phone the top speaker for 4-5 second worked. After doesn't work even in this mode...My question is: Is this an hardware problem? the top speaker is fault or can this be a software problem?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy xperia neo with 2.3.4 android didn't show the ICS upgrade as available. I tried downgrading to stock 2.3.2 and PC companion allowed me to upgrade to ICS, but during the downgrade I had the 0% battery bug, which after a google search found to be quite common. The upgrade to ICS didn't help either. I then flashed a stock 2.3.4 rom, but that still didn't solve the problem.
Until now I've only flashed stock roms, so as far as I understand I didn't void the warranty. The only workarounds I've found for this bug require an unlocked bootloader. I would be prepared to unlock it if I could, but I think as soon as I disconnect the phone from PC it powers completly off because it thinks battery is empty and I can't connect it in unlock bootloader mode (press menu+plug USB cable doesn't give blue LED).
