Â Specifically my battery percentage has disappeared and my message settings have changed as well. I had my settings to where there would be no message preview but now there is a preview and I am unable to change them back when I select those options. I change the setting back to how it was but then it reverts to how it automatically changed. Â

Dec 30, 2015I'm randomly getting this message in a grey box in the middle of the screen on my AT&T 950: "Restart Required. Your Phone's settings or the SIM card have changed. Restart your phone to complete the installation." Then there are two buttons - "Restart" and "Later". Its not consistent, but I just rebooted as it said, launched the phone app and it appeared again. It doesn't seem to be affecting any functionality though. It appears to have started once I installed the SD card. In fact, I'd argue that a lot of the glitches on my 950 started after I installed the SD card.

When I first opened the Facebook app it showed the correct font I chose but then once I closed out and went in a second time the font is the normal font. Everything else on my phone shows the "Rosemary" font except Facebook. I called Samsung and they told me it had to be an issue with Facebook but yet 5 of my friends that have an S5 don't have any problems!

Dec 8, 2012Is it just me or with the upgrade to JB has Moto taken the colume controls on this phone and downgraded the performance of the speaker?
Having mild hearing loss I loved the fact that with this phone my ringtones and notification sounds could wake up the dead. For normal situations I would have to slide the volume controls to the mid point of the slide bar, but when I was in a noisy environment I could slide the controls all the way to the right and be sure I wouldn't miss a call. Now after the upgrade it seems like even with the slider controls all the way to the right the volume is no where nearly as loud as it used to be.
Is this just me or did Moto make a change with the update? If so is there anyway to get back to the pehnenomal speaker performance we had under ICS?

Aug 23, 2011I have changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

I bought an iphone 4s from a retailer, i found out that the iphone 4s was originally came from UAE with a carrier etisalat. so called etisalat and i was informed by the Representive that the facetime was really banned in the country and was remove with the IOS 5.0.1 as defualt but they also verified that the iphone is factory unlocked, then i was advised that all i need to do is to restore the my iphone and i will have my facetime back since it is not banned in this country (Hongkong). so I tried to update my iPhone to iOS 5.1 however facetime setting still missing! check restriction no facetime, check phone setting and theres no facetime activation option. tried to factory reset the phone and choose country and region facetime still not available. So what i did is called apple and i talk to apple care Representative a very rude Agent and loves to Interupt his customers. i was told that whenever i update or restore my iPhone it contact the UAE apple server. and it doesn't make any sense im not in UAE im in Honghong. So i ask the rep. what can we do to make itunes contact hongkong or singapore apple server instead. Apple cannot give me a direct answer.So ask him if it something to with IMEI , Model or Serial Number, and they cannot give a direct answer again..... Come on Apple whats the sense of you releasing a factory Unlock if theres a Restrictions i Know that it the Law of UAE but you should do something About based on the location of the Customer....

After finally finding a program to transfer my music, etc off my phone to my pc i tried to do it through itunes but it keeps timing out, over and over again. So I have now gone to the apple site to find a way - it says you can do it through your phone using the 'Software Update' option in your Settings on your phone. Both of us have no problem texting other people via imessage and text, but when we try to imessage one another, it comes up with two different windows. I checked the "Receive at" portion of the imessage settings, and although we both have our phone number linked to our apple id, it only shows up with email address. No Caller ID option, or phone number. The "remove email address" portion is also greyed out, and where my imessage is turned on, it says "waiting for activation." I checked with my apple id, and the email address is verified.

Jan 20, 2010I know this is everywhere, but my case is different. I had problems with my lockscreen which never turned off. I went to another forum and asked for tips, they said to Reset All settings (not erase all content). I did that, and guess what, it is stuck in the apple logo and sometimes with the spinning wheel. Now I CANNOT go into DFU mode because I do not have a backup of anything and if I restore im screwed and all my apps, contact, etc. will go away. I have access to the iPhone system folders (iFunbox, diskaid, etc.)
