I have a brand new xperia z3 and I've noticed now that I only get phone calls if I'm actually using the phone. If the phone has been locked for a while it doesn't register the call coming through and I also receive no missed call notification. How to fix this as I have missed several important calls and only found out when the person who called told me about it.

Specifically, when making GSM calls the other side complain about echo, which remains during the entire duration of the call. This doesn't happen when I use headphones or make calls through Skype or Viber. FYI, removing one of the two sim cards does not solve the problem.
I am not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought xperia x10 few days back...I updated it to Android 2.1. even when my earphones are connected to the phone , when a call comes i am not able to hear the ringtone in my earphone. I am also not able to attend calls by pressing the silver button in my earphones. I have to take my phone out of my pocket, attend the call and then i am able to talk via the earphone mic. This totally dissolves the purpose of using earphones for calls. Is this a defect in my phone or is this how it is designed to work?
