my Z3 is connected with my Audi A4 B9 2016. It is possible to dictate or write emails. I also see that an email has arrived (littel Symbol in the lower left corner), but the folder sending mail or arriving mails are empty.
View 1 Repliesi have a Xperia Neo (Kyno, i'm french) with Android 2.3.4.I love this phone, but i have a little problem with my bluetooh handfree of my car (it's an AUDI A4 B8 with command voice).
The problem is when the phone is sleeping , the data of the network quality seems to not more transmit of the car. Then when i want to phone with command voice, my car indicate that there isn't network operator.When i wake up the phone, the data of the network are again pass on the car, and the command voici work fine.
Some one have the same problem ? (with a solution ?)PS : i try a forcing "wake up" application , it seems to work but too consumer in battery ! some one known an application to force "wake up" when a audio bluetooth device is connected ?
have just upgraded my ancient Nokia 6230 to a new 16GB X6. Overall I am pleased with the X6 BUT I have a problem with it sync'ing up with my Audi Bluetooth (its the OEM Audi Kit). X6 "pairs" with the Audi Bluetooth, On my Audi Sat Nav display which can be switched to a telephone display I get that its hooked up to the Orange phone network and I can make and receive calls with the Nokia X6 via the Audi interface.What does NOT happen is that my Nokia X6 phonebook does not upload to my Audi Bluetooth System. The Audi System should also show received and recently made phone calls.My old Nokia 6280, my company Nokia 6021 & my wifes Sony Ericsson K800i all work perfectly with the Audi Bluetooth system so something is definately "up" with the X6 Bluetooth interface. As the "Bluetooth" is supposed to be an Industry Standard, why is the X6 bluetooth operating differently or incorrectly or is there some sort of software application I need to download to fix it?
View 19 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my new BB 9900 to my Audi A5 via bluetooth I have two problems. Before I explain let me also say that the phone Icon that is displayed on my Audi screen is different to the one I had with my BB 8310 Curve and my iPhone. Instead of a picture that looks like a phone its a picture of a phone with what appears to be a simcard showing inside of it. Does that mean anything?
Anyway, my two problems are:
1) I cant synch contacts. Ive deleted call lists, rebooted phone, re-paired debvice etc etc but no luck.
2) The worst problem of all....when I synch up the device to my Audi I cant do anything on the BB while its paired. Thats because there is a message on the screen saying something like "SAP access someting or other..." and to get rid of the message and look up a number or an email (not while driving of course) means I have to kill the bluetooth link..
Worst thing is I had an option to go with the iphone or the BB 9900. Im beginning to think I made the wrong choice..
I recently replaced my iPhone 4S with a S5 and am having one nagging problem - I cannot get directions from the MAPS app to come thru the audio system of my 2011 Audi A6. I had no problems whatsoever doing this with my iPhone. I have read a number of threads where people have had similar problems but none were specific to the Audi's audio (MMI) system. I have paired and re-paired the S5 with the car numerous times and have tried countless possible solutions, but the navigation directions always and only come thru the phone's speaker. With the car's radio on, this becomes a problem. With my iPhone, the radio broadcast would cut out whenever directions (using Google Maps) were spoken.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1.1 it no longer works with my 2009 Audi A4's AMI/MMI interface. I have replaced the cable to discount that, but it makes no difference. After a lengthy attempt to connect I am given an error on the Audi's MMI screen saying that either the cable or device are not compatible. Hard reboot doesn't fix it. It worked fine before the update.

I have just bought a nokia x6 and paired it to my Audi car interface. It accepts the phone book and lets me make outgoing calls but there is no sound coming through when accepting a call. My husband's phone is also paired to the car and he can receive calls with no problem.

I have one annoying issue that I couldn't find at various forums and the moto customer support couln't help with. I have an audi s8 2007. The phone connects fine to the audi bluetooth but once the Atrix screen sleeps, the number of the signal bars displayed on the car's screen freezes. If I wake the Atrix screen the car screen immediately displays the correct signal bars but freezes again once the Atrix screen sleeps. I have tested that extensively and it is related to the Atrix screen sleeping. The car screen displays signal bars in areas where there is no signal and it will show one bar in areas where there is 5 bars. Any ideas on what setting on the phone may be affecting this.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my Xperia X10 for several months now and have had a gmail account on it for that whole time. It worked fine until 2 days ago when it suddenly lost connection. I have verified the sync is checked on Accounts & Sync however it does not show it has synced since 8/22/11 @ 7:38am. The calender and contacts have synced as recently as a few minutes ago. I have turned the phone off and back on, have popped the battery out and back in. I even tried to set up a new gmail account but it tells me I don't have a reliable data connection. I have browsed the internet many times since this problem began and my other email accounts (Yahoo and MSN) are working fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use software like Connectify and Virtual Router to make my laptop a wifi hotspot. It used to work fine with my phone, but recently it stopped. I am able to successfully connect, but after a few seconds or minutes it disconnects and tries to authenticate again and gets an authentication error. Then I have to restart my phone's wifi to work again. I can browse the web and do everything normally, but it somehow disconnects after few seconds. I haven't used this in a while so I don't remember if I had upgraded the phone to android 4 last time I used this. I've read something about making my phone have a static IP, but there isn't such option.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI read that to properly disconnect the X10 USB connection in Windows, you first need to click the 'safely remove device' menu entry in Windows, and then tap the 'Turn off USB storage' option in the phone. Now I've already done this in Windows 7, but I use Linux Ubuntu 11.04 as my primary OS, and in there as soon as I click the 'safely remove device' option, the phone icon in PC disappears (as it happens when I safely remove other devices), as does the 'Turn off USB storage' option in the phone. Is this also a safe way to disconnect the USB connection for X10, or might I corrupt something in the phone by doing so?

After which i see a 178 MB PC Companion file in my Memory card which is blocking my memory space and has reduced to zero memory available.Also i cant charge my phone through USB cable on my office desktop and nor can i transfer data or file thorugh USB conection.Also can i delete the 178 MB file hoping that the update on my phone wont be deleted?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem that occurred today after a year of using Z2 without any issues.I've connected my phone to PC to drop/backup some important photos I've made with Win explorer (as usual, sd card, copy, paste to C:userdocumentsphoto... etc.)
And after the backup copying was complete I saw in explorer that 6 Gigabytes in Sd card were gone. I went back to see if photos copied properly and they did, but Z2 has erased also movies, settings, music and e-books from SD card... it went completely stock with only android folder on board.
Restarted the phone, see if it will recover SD itself but all media was gone, in settings, application some of the sony apps were dated to February 1970 ?!?! There was no background defocus and AR effect in 1970 right?? Scanned the phone and Win7 with Avast, Spybot 2015 and BitDefender... all devices and PC are clean and protected.
I've tried to connect my Z5 compact with my notebook with Windows 7. There's a bluetooth connection but gives a lot of errors in the device manager. Sony PC Companion 2.1 can't connect it also by bluetooth. I've tried to update my Windows, but that wasn't a solution. I have also updated my phone as well..

I have Xperia Z2 D603 which I dropped and the back of it got cracked and now I have issues of network, my phone can't last even 10 min without losing the signal, and when I do have signal it is only 1 bar or 2 in the centre of city. I want to know if replacing the back of the phone will fix the issue or I have to replace exact thing.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my Z2 to my WIndows 8 laptop through the USB cable the connection is unstable. The laptop recognises the phone and shows it as external harddrive in Windows explorer, but when I open the drive it does not respond. Then after a while it opens a new Windows explorer window with the phone's drive, but again I can not use it.
I've checked that I have the latest driver. And on my desktop PC with Windows 7 I have no problem.
Every time that I have been connected to WiFi my phone drops 3G connection.
The only way to get it to reconnect is to restart the phone. After restart the 3G is working perfect for as long as i have been able to test it, but as soon as i connect to WiFi it stops again.

For some reason my wifi connection is either very slow, or there isn't any connection. And when it does connect, it is REALLY slow, and then it drops.
I get really frustrated because on my other devices such as an asus notebook and a Samsung tablet it works like a charm.
I recently had my XPeria Z2 fixed after 10 months of it having a cracked screen and not working. So when I finally tried to update to the latest software it turned off and now the red LED light comes on, the Sony start screen shows up and then I get a message saying the update failed.
I've seen that this has happened to a lot of people and it's been fixed with repairing the phone through Sony Bridge for Mac, and I've tried countless times to repair it but the connection procedure (connecting the cable and holding the volume - button) does not work at all.
