How can I open at least 2 separate fully functioning windows at the same time on a sony xperia z2 i mean the same idea as samsung phones like for example opening youtube in one half of the screen and facebook on the other half and both are standing alone < in short how to open two apps in one screen ? >

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf the prototypes of the new iPhone we've seen are generally accurate, I really think the move from the rocker volume switch to two dedicated volume buttons opens up a lot of possibilities. I can see being able to navigate through lock screen information like missed calls, e-mail, or texts (if that's added eventually with OS 4 or later), or have each button serve as a quick launch replacement for favorites or add further customization such as being able to call a single contact or launch a particular application.
I have never had any issues with the current volume rocker and I think it works great. The only reason to make the change to dedicated up/down buttons would appear to be to add functionality to them by allowing them to easily be used as two distinct standalone buttons.
I think Apple realized they couldn't add any additional buttons to the iPhone, so the only way to increase options/functionality was to take existing buttons the up/down volume rocker and increase their usefulness and functionality.
So I want to buy an unlocked iPhone. I currently don't have a data plan (and i'm seriously not intending on getting one) and I was just wondering if the iPhone is fully functional without it?
So if, for example, i buy one of those jailbroken/unlocked iphones from ebay I can use it normally with just the wi-fi. Like, use applications and check the internet and such. I'm asking because I recently found out that in Blackberry's this isn't the case - you can't use any apps without having a data plan.
Anyone have any issues with Poynt on the Torch? I installed Poynt v1.5.4.12 and the trackpad doesn't seem fully functional when navigating through the menus.Say if I go to Movies, I can't click on the trackpad to select any of the options, like "Movies Near Me" or "Theaters Near Me."Instead, I have to select the option using the touchscreen.Then when I go to theaters or movies, the touchpad can only highlight the first theater/movie, then jumps to "More" at the bottom instead of the next theater/movie when you try scrolling down.At least here I can click on the trackpad to bring up the popup menu, though only for that first item on the list.I can move through the lists by flicking up/down on the touchscreen, but if I try to highlight an item by touching it, it always brings up the popup menu, which is annoying when all I want to do is see the movie times, which would be displayed just by highlighting the item.

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe only way I can use my multi window is to go to settings, turn multi off and on again. Then the multi window appears on the left. But I have no arrow that's supposed to open from the home screen, another casualty of the 5.1.1 update that lost my "back" and "recent/menu" functions. I have a 3rd party app that restores "back" and "recent", but not "menu". Multi window now only appears by itself when I click a link in a text message, but I have about 8 apps available in that window.
How I can bring up multi window without using settings each time?? I tried 3rd party apps that can bring more apps into multi window, but I can't get to the multi window itself. I am not rooted, running 5.1.1
I'm trying to modify my text message options. In the message list window I press the Blacberry key, scroll down and select 'options' - the options page pops up for about a second, and then I'm taken back to message list. I'm able to open email and other options windows without an issue - this only happens for text message options. Any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I am viewing an SMS conversation, with lets say someone named bob, and bob sends me another message, it does not beep if I am still in the bob sms window. I get no notification. To get a notification I have to back out or lock the screen each time.
Sometimes I sit my phone down waiting for a reply and when it beeps I know I have a reply. however, with the s6 I am forced to back out of mine and bob's chat window each and every time just so I can receive the notification beep again to know when he has replied. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I forced to use a 3rd party app (not preferred)

Where in the last version it was pretty easy to select silent and vibration mode by pulling down the top of the screen.Now I can't figure out how to select vibrate notification anymore.I can't close all the open apps at one time anymore where there was a button for that in the last versionAnd I can't close my browser Window anymore.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo the other day my phone (Xperia Z3) was working perfectly fine. I was able to hear people on phone calls and noise came from that speaker. The next day, the speaker was completely silent when i tried to talk to someone and the only way i could do this was by having speaker phone enabled so it would come out of the other speaker. Now i don't know about you, but it's a bit awkward out in public.
Firstly, i have had my screen replaced before, by a third party repairer who i have been to for all other phones, and when i got it back, the ear speaker was distorted if on the maximum volume when listening to music or watching videos, so i never have it on full volume. Unfortunately, because i went to a third party repairer, Vodafone will now have to charge me for the repairs so i want to try as many things as possible before i have to fork out a bunch of money to get it repaired.

View 8 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been unable to view my photos successfully on my laptop. It has been happening for several weeks now...When I transfer the photos to my laptop via USB (before you ask, I have tried as USB Mass Storage, PC MODE, and Windows Media Sync) and try opening them, I get the message 'Window Photo Viewer can't open this picture because the file appears to be damaged, corrupted, or is too large.' I just now figured out today how to get the Motocast application installed and running, and it synced up ~400 pictures from my phone to laptop.
However again, when I try viewing any of them on my laptop, I get the message. I have been emailing the photos from my phone, but for some reason that stopped working today also. I go to the photo gallery and do a multi select>Share>Email, and the draft is created. I see the photos attached, put in my email address, but the email never sends...it just pops up with an orange triangle next to the subject and says Send Action canceled. Not sure what all information is needed...software is updated, is a RAZR MAXX, my laptop is Windows 7. About 65 of the photos/videos appear to be in Internal Storage and the rest are on sD card.
I unplugged my phone this morning around 6:30, but it's saying that I did around 8:50. This hasn't happened before. I did restart my phone around that time, but when I restarted it again later on in the day, the battery time didn't change like it did this morning.
