With Android 4.4.4 my xperia Z2 screen mirroring was successfull with Samsung Smart TV.Now after Lollipop upgrade when I try screen mirroring I obtain an error message "Mirroring error. The output device doesn't support HDCP...."

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe button to move app is not greyed out. I can click them and they change from "move to SD" to "move to phone". In fact, the screen shows me that only 20mb is left on the device and 2GB are on the SD card for the app. But when I go to my SD card the folder where the OB files are supposed to be is empty, and my available internal storage did not change. Samething happened to all the apps I tried to move. The phone tells me the apps have been moved but they did not.

I had been able to use the "ok google" voice command to make phone calls, change music etc while using my bluetooth headset connected to my motorbike helmet whilst my phone was in my pocket with the screen off & locked.
Since updating to lollipop I cannot get this to work on the Z3 & I am really disappointed with this.
Reading feature articles regarding loliypop this should work from the lockscreen but it doesn't & I now really wish I hadn't bothered with this gaudy update, for me lollipop is a huge backwards step - not liking it at all.
My S5 did the lollipop upgrade just over a week ago and there have been nothing but issues since. I did a full factory reset and the phone worked fine for 3 days than I powered it down as I was at a bridge game and when I turned it back on it was worse than ever. Did another factory reset and now it won't load any apps at all. It will sometimes read my SD card and at other times it won't. Short of replacing the phone, what is going on with this update and how did it take a phone I loved and turn it into a useless hunk of electronic junk.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my z2 I used screen mirroring on my Sony tv. It took I while to connect but eventually did. When using my z2 seeing the output on my tv was great only that there were delays in my input and video had lag.
This is happening now that I have the new lollipop update. As before everything was fine. Don't know if there is a solution to this or its because of the lollipop software update?
I've Upgraded from sony xperia z1 to xperia z3 4 months back.I also use a Sony Bravia KLD-W900A in Living room. I used Screen Mirroring with my xpera Z1 to Bravia TV which worked without a hiccup till I replaced it with xperia z3.Whenever I Connect xperia z3 with Bravia TV It lags and also has hardtime playing videos,music or just scrool some photos. It sometimes trakes 1 seconds to just load a full photo on TV screen which never happened with my xperia z1 .

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have only recently upgraded from the Sony Xperia Z1 to the Z3+ and one of the major issues I seem to have is it will not let me mirror my screen onto my Sony Bravia TV, this always worked great with my Z1 and the TV is the same and no changes to my WiFi, I am not sure if this is an issue on all of them, but my workmate has a Z3 and he said he has the same issue. I also see the Z3+ has Cast Screen which doesn't work on my TV either, the only way I can get it to work is through YouTube or through a paid app called AllCast. Which I had on Z1 but didn't install it on Z3+ until I noticed it wouldn't let me mirror screen through phone
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I got the first lollipop Update I had an option to disable the lock screen completely on my z3 compact, ever since this recent update to fix the bugs in lollipops it only gives me the option to set a slide lock screen or PIN or password but not completely disable it so if I try to use any third party lock screen I have to first unlock the Sony one before it will go to that one.
my other issue is with the throw, screen mirroring s only once since I've had this phone have I been able to scan and have devices come up I have a smart TV and that came up but everytime I try to do it now it just says no devices found every single time
After upgrade to 2.1 the power button doesn't switch off my screen anymore. It did in earlier version.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Z5 Compact and a Sony Bravia TV (new generation). Setting up screen mirroring works great. However, when I try to play videos on the phone/TV, the performance is very bad. Basically, I cannot watch films without severe interruptions.
Is screen mirroring not meant to stream video? What could be the issue?Both the TV and the Phone are connected to a wireless router (from Apple).
The autoturn option is not working anymore. I've tested the gyroscope, accelerator and they are just fine yet the autoturn is not available for usage. I've also rebooted my phone turned on in safe mode and nothing seems to work.

View 9 Replies View Related1) the screen doesn't lock anymore; i mean the slide to unlock thing doesn't appear : when i lock the phone the screen just goes black but when it's in my pocket it unlocks itself and start messing around like calling by itself!
2)the central button now only lights the screen; it doesn't go back to the main screen anymore! i have to use the button <-- (back) as many times as i entered in a folder to go back to the main screen..
3)the phone doesn't ring anymore! i can listen to music or whatever but it will just vibrate when someone calls me! also when I try to change the sound level with the side buttons, even if i go max, it will say :Ringer Volume silent ringtone selected
4)the camera crashes as soon as i open it, it's just black as if something was blokcing the camera.. the only option reamaing is to turn off the phone and then reboot!
5)by the way when I press the shut off button usually you have 3 choices : *plane mode *power off *xxxx (i just can't rember what it was)well now i only have one option: power off!
6)Oh btw it has already happened to me a few days ago; after much searching in the internet with no answers i simply did the 'factory data reset' thing and it worked!
I am not sure whether you all encounter there is no Dual Sim capability in Go SMS Pro when I upgrade my Z3 Dual to Lollipop? I have no issue with the default SMS client though.

My workplace network settings:
WPA2 EnterpriseEAP method: PEAPPhase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2CA certificate: (Unspecified)DHCP server.I am able to connect to this network using my credentials on other devices - but my Xperia Z2 just refuses to establish a connection. I've tried "forgetting" the network, restarting the phone (including in safe mode). No success.
I no longer see a "card" for my text notifications on my lock screen after the lollipop upgrade on my Galaxy S5.
I get the status "notification bar" (see attached screenshot), but I want the "card" (like the "New voice mail" card in the screenshot) to appear on my lock screen - I don't want to have to tap the "notification bar" for the rest of my notifications. Hopefully I'm just missing a setting, and this is not the expected behavior....
Here's what I've tried (and what my settings are):
1) Lock Screen/Screen Lock is set to swipe.
2) Sounds and Notification/While Locked is set to "Show All Content".
3) Applications/Messages/Notifications/Preview Message is checked.
4) Applications/ApplicationManager/Messages -> Show notifications is checked.
5) I have cleared the cache for Messages Application.
6) I have done a cache partition wipe.
The power key/button on my device isnt working. I can't switch off the device and it worries me cos this started few hours after i performed the upgrade to Lollipop.

But most of all that makes me mad is that the upgrade changed my notification sounds I had customized. not only that now I can not select my favorite sounds for specific notification. can only get sounds and ringtones that are on Lollipop by default.
