Apr 13, 2011I am not able to connect to market, coz its asking to connect to gmail which is not happening. is one had the same prob and found how to fix, please let me know. I receive this below message when i try to connect to gmail. This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provision for data services. if it continues, call customer care.My GPRS is working fine. i able to connect to face book, yahoo.

Mar 30, 2010Anyone out there with OS 5.0 tried the Gmail Mobile App yet (not Gmail IMAP w/BIS)? The problem the Tour has always had is the notifications for Gmail don't work or if they work when the Gmail Mobile App is first installed, they get lost as soon as the phone is rebooted. Then even uninstalling Gmail and reinstalling it doesn't fix it. If it's working on your Tour with OS 5.0, after a phone restart, do you still have Gmail Messages as a choice under "Profile | Set Ring Tones/Alerts | Other? What typically happens is the "Gmail Messages" doesn't display unter "Other" so you can't change email notifications, LED settings, nothing regarding the Gmail Mobile App.(don't recommend I use Gmail IMAP w/BIS..at least not unless it's October already and RIM has added all the Gmail features that are still missing

Jan 24, 2010I`m surprised that Gmail for Mobile app doesn`t work on my Nokia 6303, though it did work well with my old 6151 (and the operator is the same, nothing has changed except the phone model). It downloads properly, but when I try to open the Gmail, it keeps constantly asking for internet connection. But the connection is there! I press the "yes" but it keeps asking till finally tells to check the connectivity... And I have no problems with browsing the internet or opening and using my email accounts via web. I checked my settings but they seemed to be fine. But Gmail just doesn`t work, though I`ve tried several versions besides the newest one.

Feb 18, 2011I've got an Xperia X10i running Android 2.1 update1, Baseband Version 2.0.49,Build number 2.0.2.A.0.24, Kernel Version 2.6.29 SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1 which since I got it, the Android Market has never worked.I am able to go through the list of apps but when I choose an app to download it freezes at the "Starting Download" phase, when I try to cancel the download, I get the message "the application market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
I already combed through several forums and tried things like clearing the cache etc but the problem still persists. Recently I read from an official android forum that the connection to Android Market is established via Google talk, I noticed that I did not have google talk, I installed it and it functions okay but the problem still persist. How I can resolve the problem...its no point carrying and Android phone without android market.
