Xperia X8 :: W8 Battery Voltage @ 100% And Charging Time?
Sep 30, 2011
I tried observing my phone during charge... It takes about 1hour and 15-30Min depending on the percentage left between 0-15%... But what I notice when It reaches 100% before I unplug, I dial *#*#4636#*#* and check the battery information and it says 4172mV. When I unplug it, it shows 4140-4152 mV sometimes, My sister has Cherry mobile orbit with almost same battery capacity and can reach 4300mV at plug and unplug with 4200mV and takes about 2hours.... Is that normal for X8/W8? and is the battery charging time normal?
pls tell me what is the excat charging time for Xperia X8 Phone Battery?Is there any way to identify that the battery is fully charged?When I charge my battery It shows 99% for a long time.but in the begining of charging it shows a quick progress. Will it harmful for the battery if, its get overcharged?
I have been using my samsung galaxy pretty heavily being as i just got it a week ago. I have noticed with heavy use it does not last me a whole day. Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. Was curious how many hrs of usage other people are averageing and how many hrs of charge time?
Why this is happening right now but my phone won't charge. When I plug it in the red notification light blinks for a while, then the charging logo appears on the screen for a short time and during that time red is light constantly lid, as it was supposed to, however then the screen goes black again and the light starts blinking.
I found a solution on YouTube which suggested me to tape power button firmly so it's always pushed and then charge it for an hour. I did exactly the same thing, nothing changed.
It's been more than 2 hours and my phone is still charging with the same cycle (blinking red light, then charging logo, then blinking again). I wonder what happened to my phone and what can I do now?
I realized that with using charging dock I can see a glimpse of Xperia and Sony logo but then they vanish. The phone seems to be restarting itself while I use the dock.
Battery is draining while charging, I did restarted the phone and it works the phone is charging, then after the first charged it came back again draining while charging?
I've just bought a new XPeria Z2 smartphone, which I'm really excited about. As the battery went down to 5%, I set the phone on my magnetic charger, which came in the package of the Z2. In the morning, (after 6 hours), the battery was at 66% only, and didn't charge any further.
When I press the on button, I can feel the vibration but after that nothing happens. I have finally updated the software after 50 plus attempts. The phone is recognsied by SE Companion but when I click on either of the 2 icons for support and media, nothing is installed and a message of "try again" pops up. The battery charging icon does not appear when I try to recharge but the vibration when the on button is pressed appears to suggest that battery has at least some charge
I bought a Z5C for my wife, but I am withholding it fo test purposes because I own a Z3c... As per title, if I use it while charging the battery's charge drops or, at best, doesn't improve.
I had already:
-Tried more usb cables, including those one which came along our phones. -Tried more chargers: my usual z3c charger, my MacBook Pro, my iPad's charger, a no-name wall charger rated for 1Ampere; -Repaired with bridge for Mac; -Restored to factory defaults, effect of which turned out to be more or less like "Repair" procedure;
I don't' have strange applications running, I don't play games, mail synchronization is manual. It's like my phones are on perpetual holidays.
More over: I used it just to surf the web and take a dozen of shot with the camera set at 8MP, so nothing really challenging. The phones back heats but not really that much.
My phone's battery overheats more often each day and because of that, when I plug the charger, it keeps discharging, at this point I have to turn off the device, take out the battery, wait for it to cool down and then re assemble it and plug the charger again.Did my battery reach its limit?. What can cause this effect?. Does overcharge cause this kind of malfunctions?. Do I have to buy a new battery or a new phone?
I bought an ORIGINAL CHARGER yesterday. I drained my battery first before using the ORIGINAL SONY CHARGER. But I woke up this morning, I saw 80% only on its screen but when I turned on and charge again, the battery reaches until 90%-91% and then when I keep on charging, the percent result declined to 88%. I want to see that 100% ....
On some sites I have read I have to charge and discharge the battery completely a few times to make it better, on some I read lithium batterys don't like to be fully discharged and all you need is a few overnight charges or charging the battery for 1 to 16 hours. I am totally confues the sites are all about xperia mini pro battery. It can't both be correct, so which is it?
My phone battery has a x8 only a day after the proper loading, if I had not even been on the web, is called, has not played, not listened to music, and more and mor..... How long have you x8 on the battery? I've already tried all things: all things are turned off, screen brightness reduced. I bought this phone just a week ago.
Over the last 24 hours i've notice my Xperia Z2's battery is draining very quickly, even when asleep. Even when it is plugged in charging, i keep getting messages saying the phone is unable to charge as it is using too much power. And previously i could charge the phone overnight fully, now it doesn't get close to 40%
In addition to this I've noticed it is kicking out a lot of heat at the top of the phone, and also i can no longer connect to the internet via wifi.
Everything else seems ok, and i have managed to back up my data to an sd card. I haven't added any new apps recently.
I've had the phone for less than a year and as far as i know it hasn't had any heavy drops or anything.
I am using Xperia Neo for more than a year. The battery was fine, it usually lasted for 1.5 days with my usual use. Suddenly since 2-3 days, I notified that my battery was going down way faster than before and the phone temperature was much warmer.Battery hardly lasted for a day and it was going down even when in sleep.Last night I gave a full charge, disconnected it from the charger and went to bed. I also installed a 'Auto task killing app' to check whether it improves the battery life. In the morning I found that there was no charge in the phone. I tried to charge it, but its not charging, the red light is not coming up. Its not even detected or charged when I connect it to my laptop.The main changes that happened within last 2-3 days- 1) I updated Facebook app2) I installed a battery saver app, but uninstalled it3) Last night I installed a auto ask killer
I'm thinking of unlocking the bootloader of Neo V to flash JB but I'm not sure and I have some questions.
1.Will a new rom help on perfomance battery and ram mangement? 2.Will a JB rom drain too much battery in a small amount of time? 3.Can I go back to the original GB rom? 4.Will the GB Camera app play on a new Rom and can I find it as an .apk? 5.Is there a stable JB 4.1 Rom or even better 4.2 for Neo V? 6.Can I unroot my phone on the new rom?
My z2 doesn't charge anymore because after connecting every kind of charger (usb cable or docking station) the led light starts blinking and the notification of "charging battery" appears and disappears. What should I do?
My phone is still in warranty but in the official site it is registered as "missing warranty".
After upgrade IOS 8.1.1 I have no service in my IPhone 5, lost WiFi connectivity from time to time and the battery is draining within hours. I tried everything that Apple support told me to do and still did not fix the problem.
Do we still need to do a Batterie pull from time to time. I ve installed os .421 and since 15 days i haven t done a pull. I only past from 133MB to 131MB so the memory loss won t even be noticed compared to back in the days with the 9000.So my question is do we still need these apps like quick pull etc which i installed to my old 9000.How often should we do a pull every week? Every month?
I have already read enough of this great forum post, I hope in the future to helpbeginners like me, one day we had to IOS (formerly had a Galaxy S2) and now we are more than comfortable with my 4s!I have the cell phone constantly charging, either in the Dock, when I go to bed, Through The cable in my university (when I'm in class or on the computer in the Library), this because the phone if consuming battery (I have the iOS 5.0.1) and hate running out of battery (no phone) when I'm away from home.Then the doubt (I've already searched in many forums) is whether this is detrimental tothe battery of the phone, or simply when the iPhone detects that is loaded, just stops receiving load and nothing happens:
Just purchased iPhone 4S and it's sucking the life out of the battery. I've read several posts to turn items off to save battery life and nothing seems to be working.
Noticed the banner at the top of the screen that displays "Time on Battery" becomes distorted after time. The top right corner of the banner starts to slope down and the blue accent line becomes broken. Seems to have started after the latest update.nyone else noticed this? It appears to become progressively
When I tried to connect to magnetic charging dock the Led and the charging symbol starts blinking continuously without getting charged, while it used to be perfect previously, and usb charging is perfectly fine , i even tried with multiple chargers.
