Nov 13, 2011I cannot used it screens showing "roadsync error cannot read internal database" try to restart unit if problem persist uninstall and install. But in vain.

Jun 26, 2011I went thru the set up. I immediately noticed a difference in performance, when I turned it on it showed my location to be almost a mile (by road) from my actual location, probably a 1/2 mile as the crow flies. I turned it back on a couple of different times in the next few hours but it never did find the street I live on. The battery was low so I hoped that a good charging would get it to function better. The next day was some better, at least it found my street but still placed me 140 yards away. No panic yet, Friday will be the true test. Friday morning I loading in my addresses and found the optimization key thanks to my experience with the Garmin 1450. Bingo, route optimized! Looking forward to the trip now.However, the trip was a huge disappointment. This 765 did recognize waypoint correctly but the unit kept going to the blue screen with moto's advertisement . I would have to start the trip all over again and delete the waypoint I was at, it would add that back to the route.I'd guess it happened at least 20 times durng the around 3 1/2 hours I used it. Most of time I would be at a waypoint (but not always) and I'd get back to the car and it would be playing it's happy tune. I'm glad it sounded happy cause sure wasn't. The other 765 I had did not behave in this manner.

It was purchased in Nanjing,China for 5000 yuan on 19-Nov-2010. It hasn't given me any sort of problem till now. I came back to India 2 weeks ago and since then it has been crashing non stop. After reading all the complaints of fellow users on the website and consumer.complaints.in, it's very sad to see that Sony Ericsson has manufactured such a defective piece that I no longer wish to acredit it with the quality that it claims to have. 36000 rupees is what it costs and it works worst than Nokia 1100.How is it that a phone with a 1 GHz processor fail so many times. It seems that people worldwide have the same problem after the 2.1 update.

Feb 7, 2011i was wondering if anyone in this thread could help me with my phone. Its a xperia 8 and i only bought it 2-3 months ago but its haveing some problems. for about a month now its been making the sd card removal noise for no reason that i can tell and the battery has been running out pretty quickly (although this might because its searching for signal as my work doesnt have the best reception) with the battery being full when i start work and empty or next to when i grab it from my locker even 3 hours later. this wasnt so bad cause i just turn it off when im at work untill recently when it started going really slowly taking minutes to open simple apps. and about a week ago it stopped turning on propperly altogether. when i turn it on it starts up as usual and as soon as it gets to the main screen the screen goes black and it tries to start back up again 30 secs or so later.i have found out that it will actually stay turned on when i turn it on when the power is connected to it but this makes it im-mobile (kinda defies the purpose). un the power cord isnt sitting right in it as it keeps starting and stopping chargeing (although its been doing this since i bought it, wasnt such a problem as it gets a full charge by the mourning anyway) which stops be being able to keep it turned on long enough to do a system reset or anything that i can think off.

Jul 28, 2012I bought my Xperia Pro today and so far my experience with it has made me very disapointed.
First start up, everything looks ok, trying to conect to WiFi and... gets stuck there and fails to connect. I thought maybe I just needed to update the mobile phone and it was fine so I did exactly that. Since then, my new Xperia Pro just keeps randomly restarting for no apparent reason. I've tried repairing it using PC Companion but same effect. SIM card is new, goten same time has the mobile phone.

Dec 27, 2010I seem to be having some major problems when connecting my x10 mini pro to my pc via usb also my phone just seems generally problematic since the update to Android 2.1.The phone becomes inoperable if on whilst charging via the lead and plug but it would normally connect to my pc without issue and the update to Android 2.1 also executed without any hitches.Now every time I connect my phone via usb to my pc the phone just keeps rebooting.Firstly I am prompted by phone to either connect to pc or charge phone (which is normal) I connect to pc: so my phone and memory card content is available in explorer.Suddenly my phone freezes and reboots, so I again connect to pc and the same thing happens. This just goes on pretty much in a loop.Occasionally I am able to view or add/retrieve files until the phone decides to reboot again. Also when my phone has been disconnected from my pc, some time after it will just suddenly reboot all by it self.

The Album can't be open because if u do it freezes and crash, sometimes even make the phone restart and you can't acess any content besides the config.
Netflix have some weird lags too, and sometimes when i receive i call, the led blinks, the smartband vibrates, but the phone freezes, and restart.
Sometimes the Camera app and File Commander crashes too. But sometimes, it starts fine, and if u don't reboot or turn it off, will work normally

i already tried to reset to the factory (In the Phone and by the Computer), remove the SD, clear cache from the apps, uninstall the antivirus, install the antivirus, uninstall all apps, boot in safemode...

To me, really sounds like a software problem... Sometimes it doesn't recognize by the PC when i connect, it only recognize if is working normally.

May 30, 2014I recently bought a new Sony Xperia Z3. The problems I am experiencing are that all sony default apps crashing and some other apps aswell. Apps that have crashed are; the contacts app, the messenger app (not facebook), the homescreen app, the album app, the walkman and the movies app.
When they crash I get a message saying Unfortunately "app name", has stopped. The only way to make the app working again is to reset the phone. This happens quite often which is surprising since the phone is new and its a flagship device.

The second problem I am experiencing is the phone randomly resetting itself, this happens about once per day. I believe the reason for the random resets are the crashing apps. I think that because when I was using my phone all apps suddently crashen, then the phone just reset itself twice before it was usable again.

It looks like as soon as the phone tries to go into a lower power state, it crashes and reboots. I've gone through a number of logs, and I thought it was an issue linked to bluetooth, but disabling bluetooth or going into airplane mode didn't work.

The phone is fine when it is being used, or when it is charging it is only when it is idle for about a minute (or less) and all background activities have finished (such as a sync for an app) does it reboot.

For example, listening ot music or a podcast and the phone is fine for hours. But if I stop it, even if it remains connected to the bluetooth device, it crashes.

Jun 28, 2012Basically, I listen to music on my S2 while riding my motorbike, and yesterday I noticed that at higher speeds the music gets slower and even "blurry", sounded similar to the old (showing my age now) tape disks when the tape was dirty or stuck or lose. I keep my S2 in my right side pocket inside my jacket, and noticed when while this problem appears I press lightly against the phone it returns to normal again. Sometimes it stays normal for a little while, sometimes it reverts back to this 'broken' sound as soon as I stop pressing it lightly.Later I shut the phone down and powered it back up, hoping that may sort it out, but the problem still persists. It appears it's not every time it happens. Earlier this morning at higher speeds nothing happened, later on it returned however.

Aug 31, 2010From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?

Dec 16, 2010I bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.
