I updated my x10 mini pro a week or so ago, and today I want to move some pictures I've taken over to my computer. However when I plug in the usb cable, and select "Connect and update or manage or whatever" my phone reboots.
View 5 RepliesI seem to be having some major problems when connecting my x10 mini pro to my pc via usb also my phone just seems generally problematic since the update to Android 2.1.The phone becomes inoperable if on whilst charging via the lead and plug but it would normally connect to my pc without issue and the update to Android 2.1 also executed without any hitches.Now every time I connect my phone via usb to my pc the phone just keeps rebooting.Firstly I am prompted by phone to either connect to pc or charge phone (which is normal) I connect to pc: so my phone and memory card content is available in explorer.Suddenly my phone freezes and reboots, so I again connect to pc and the same thing happens. This just goes on pretty much in a loop.Occasionally I am able to view or add/retrieve files until the phone decides to reboot again. Also when my phone has been disconnected from my pc, some time after it will just suddenly reboot all by it self.

After updating I turned on my phone and it started optimizing with my apps and that went well too. Then I was browsing through my phone's settings option and went to tethering and wifi hotspot option and turned on the bluetooth tethering. After that my phone rebooted and it keeps on rebooting on itself. It wont connect to my PC. I tried removing the battery but when I turn it on its the same thing.

However it connects in MSC(Mass storage) mode. Why my X10 Mini Pro cant connect to PC almost everytime, while it show USB connection pop up menu, the touchscreen freeze, not responding any touch, so i cant touch the option, but the hardware button work. I've tried rebootning my phone and PC, nothing change.

I've checked the router settings and the network uses all three interfaces - 802.11g/n/b and encryption is by WPA + WPA2 - so I believe that these are the correct settings for this phone.

View 6 Replies View Relatedwe have 3 mini pros, mine, wife and workmate.we are all having the same issue which is our phone will no longer connect to wifi we have tried the following-
-updated firmware 2.1
-made sure signal strength is excellant
-reset settings
-reset modem and made sure password and security details are correct
-used different modems and wifis to test the phone
-downloaded and used wifi apps ie wifi fixer etc
- read the hundreds of suggestions in different forums regarding this issue with this phone... noone has had any real success. maybe one or two people like i said, we have 3 of these phones with 3 different wifi modems. and have tried connecting to other wifi... it just refuses to connect its a shame becuase i can speak for the others in saying , if i knew the wifi didnt work on this phone we would never of bought it.
I would like to connect the Xperia X10 mini headphone output to line-in from my audio car system. I tried to use a compatible jack (the same type as the supplied headphones) but the audio did not switch from the internal speaker of the X10 to headphone output. I suppose the phone sense the headphone impedance and then switch the audio path.Is there a way to control this audio switch?
