Jun 22, 2011Is it possible to connect my X10 Mini pro to a PC (USB lead) and send txts if so how? This would be a boon to use a full size KB.

Mar 3, 2010Yestarday i sent a text message to a friend after topping up 10. by last night she had recieved the same text over 80 times and my credit had ran out. after that my texts wouldnt go through at all (even free texts from my umlimited o2) i phoned o2 and they put 10 back on for me and gave me 100 free texts to any network and told me to try another o2 card in my phone, i did and it still wouldnt work so its the phone.... i can phone out by when i try to text it goes straight to my outbox rather than sent messages and says resend. nothing will go through to any number at all. does anyone have any ideas what it could be? i dont want to have to send it off and wait ages! ive tried factory settings and still the same.

Sep 26, 2012I just updated my Xperia Mini Pro, but after the update, a) new text messages appear at the bottom of the list of texts (so annoying!) and b) the newest text message does not appear on the list when I reply to it.Is this a bug? I really don't think it's a feature.

Feb 11, 2011my phone (x10 mini) can't send sms..when I try to send one it says that's impossible I tryed a factory reset, then an update to last firmware, then to change the sim card..nothing.It seems to be a problem with the message center, but there isn't the option to change it..when I try to change the SMSC (by dialing *#*#4636#*#*) it says "update error"

Oct 23, 2010My x10 mini pro is was working just fine until 3 days ago. But all of a sudden, it wasn't letting me send sms anymore. I still am able to receive sms though. Its just the problem with sending sms.Whenever i try to send an sms, it shows 'sending' for like 4 seconds and then shows 'could not send'.Been having this issue since 3 days and it still persists.Let me tell you what all i have done. (Except for restarting the phone a million times)
1. Network tower issue: To check if the issue was with the tower, i moved a good 30 miles away to another tower and it still had the issue. Plus, my other friends living just next door are able to send and receive sms through the same network operator.
2. Phone software issue: To check if it was an issue with the phone, i flashed my phone with the pc companion and installed a fresh copy of android 2.1. But the problem persists.
3. Sim: I removed and re-inserted the sim card a few times just to make sure the contact was proper with the chip. And it was properly connected.Now, the only thing thats left in my mind is if my operator changed the message centre number of the network.But then, there's no way of changing or editing the message centre number in android 2.1.It used to be in Home screen > Settings > Wireless controls > Mobile networks > SMS centre in 1.6.But unfortunately, it aint there anymore in 2.1.

Get message warning of potential high costs, but even when accepting this, get message saying you can't turn on Data Roaming when outside your home network. Is this the problem?
