I have recently got the X8 but i put my old sim card in it and i cant go on facebook or the internet etc when i am just walking round and gernerally at and about where as i used to be able to do this with my old phone. Is this because i need to put the new sim card in and if i do will the internet work on it??

Now with the same software, it automatically updated itself to PC Companion, now I have trouble restoreing sms data (.txt + .cah files) to X8 It seems they use different file system It's hard to believe Sony Ericsson didn't prepare for such migration

It happens both on wifi and mobile data. In accounts setting, I can see, that some Google service has not been sync for a day or more, even though they are clicked "sync automaticaly".

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone is z3 dual. When I connect it through USB cable to the pc it looks like it's no connected ( no recharge and no file transfer _ the Pc dosn't see the phone). I tried another pc and another USB cables but nothing happened. For your information the USB cable is working and the pc is reading another phones like xperia C3.(no problem in the cable and the pc , I'm sure the problem is in the phone itself.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got back my Xperia Z3 from the service center that replaced my screen. After this my phone have started to reebot and turn itself off. I have used the Sony PC Companion to repair the phone twice (reset and reinstall all the software) but still have the same problem.
I have read o lot of posts here and have no SD-card installed and also removed my SIM-card. I have tried to use the phone in safe mode and without any WiFi. Nothing worked.
I suspect that my phone reboots or turn itself of when the phone gets hot... but it could also be for some other reasons.
I'm not sure if this type of post goes here so I'll keep it as short as possible. I've had my new Xperia for a few weeks and it was already getting cluttered by unneeded apps. So I backed up all my photos and contacts and factory reset my phone. Now my phone won't use its 4g lte capabilities. (My provider is Verizon)

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy new Xperia Z5 is on a constant reboot loop if it's plugged in to a charger or my laptop. I've already tried everything. I've tried pushing the "off" button underneath the sim card slot (I tried both ways including the 120 second method). I've tried plugging it into my laptop to use Sony Bridge to repair. Nothing works.
How do I perform a hard reset on the phone manually? I've tried to hold the power and VOL+ and this doens't work, it just keeps reboot looping. I see a red light and sometimes a blue light in the top left corner of the phone..
This just happened out of nowhere. The phone is 2 months new and I paid top dollar for it. I'm pissed off and have no phone.
Nothing has worked. It is not the sim card as i have tried it in two other phones and it works fine.

When playing FM Radio, the notification bar has 2 arrows left and right and the Stop button.
When pressing the arrow, it takes you to the next station and NOT to the next Saved/Favorite station.
Well,that 's wrong... If you have 6-7 favourite stations,it should skip through your favourite stations.
It's there a way to have the option of skipping through my favorite stations on the notification bar ?
My friend have a Z2 wich is restarting all the time and we have tried all power resets and it keeps doing that anyway.
But there should be one way to restore the phone if i got it in fastboot but i dont have the driver for that does some one know where i can get it?
My phone xperia z2 keeps on restarting when there is sim card inserted. It also heats up when doing this. It has been bearly a year since i got this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI got a Z5 Compact just yesterday and have been trying it out. I do like the phone a lot, especially the side power button / fingerprint reader is fantastic. The back could be more curved to make it nicer to hold and the display calibrated better.
Anyway, my problem is that the phone runs hot! After unlocking it and just browsing the net (no videos) for about 20 minutes the phone gets warm especially from the back. It's not burning or anything but enough to be noticeable and enough to be a bit uncomfortable. Watching a YouTube video doesn't really change the situation. The only time I've got it really hot is when Play Store was downloading all my apps on the phone - but then again my old Galaxy S4 got hot in that situation too.
I tested various situations (using camera to take a video, watching YouTube, browsing websites) and compared to my S4 and the Z5 Compact was always much warmer from both front and back (even without a back cover on S4).
I have an app that doesnt work with 5.1 and I need to downgrade. I have no clue how to do that so I would prefer a simple solution
