I have a lot of icons that I will probably never use such as all the games, and my pull down screens are all over the place,. I have a spare space on one page and two icons on another so it looks a bit of a mess. I tried the "Rearrange icons" tabs, but all that happens is the background goes black and you can't action anything.
This is probably a futile effort but I was wondering if there was a way to remove unwanted icons off of my tour. I saw a post from last year in regards to the storm and the advise was to just hide them because it can't be done. I'm hoping that as time has passed and technology has advanced that maybe a solution has been developed to resolve this issue.
I found few unused/irrlevant applications loaded in the mobile. Few of these applications starts as default processes and keeps running in the background. If the applications are not part of core operating system and not required to always keep in mobile, should be allowed to remove them.
i could not properly uninstall d default apps in d update like.. apps like 1.watsapp, 2.UEFA, 3. plus, 4.moxier pro, 5. app xtra, .. etc.. if i switch off d mobile and restart it, these apps appear again.. and makes d mobile slow.. i want to keep this update 2.3.4 but also want to remove moxier pro, mcfee, apps withot rooting my phone .
This is probably a really dumb question, but in the corners of the home screens are these icons inside a quarter circle, some of which were there, some I have added, some by mistake.
I'm a new BB 8330m user (carrier is Sprint).I have an icon for Pocket Express (which came with the phone) on my screen that I can't remove. I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.
How do I get I get rid of or delete all the unused or unwanted Icons on my phone? All of these are just taking up space and are not apps downloaded on my phone.
I have just transfured my details from my curve to my new blackerry torch 9860 but there is a load of apps that dont work on the new phone and is taking up a load of my app memory how do i delete them .
I have a iPhone 4 and back than i synced my iphone 4 with picture folders. As of now i want to make some space on my iPhone 4 by removing the folders out of my iphone 4 but the trouble is by the time i plugged my iphone 4 in i can't seem to unselecet the folders under ths photos tab devices in itunes.
I want to remove phone bloat: sprint wallet, sprint zone, playbooks, sprintID, google+ etc. Seems there is a multitude of pre-loaded apps which when I extend-press to access the option window the only options are Add to Home or Add to Group, Share & Uninstall are not available. I've turned off auto-update and I'm now receiving "notifications" every 3 - 4 days to update. Anyway to remove these or just kill them completely so they no longer attempt to update themselves?
i have removed all unwanted notifications from my facebook mobile app but they are all still in my messages folder on my handset and i cannot delete any of them.
On my HTC One M8. How i can remove the time displayed on the top right hand corner of my home page. Right next to the battery indication. Or better yet how can i remove everything from the top of the screen. The wifi signal strength indicator, the battery level indicator and the time.
I see people regularly have icons/symbols on their display that they don't know what they stand for. Now I've got one ... it's close to the top, to the right on where of where the symbols show you have messages and/or voicemails. This one looks like a smiley face with a star over the left eye. There's a number 1 next to it. Help please.
Also, where is the master chart from BlackBerry, or the carrier, the deciphers these. It seems to be a common problem that's not covered very well in the user's manual.Isn't there a link somewhere to the master chart? My phone is an 83** with Sprint.
After my recent SD card swap, I've run into a problem. I have a few apps that show as not installed, and are no longer on offer at the play store. Unfortunately, the icons for these apps still appear in my app drawer. If I hold one and try do delete it, I'm told that system apps cannot be deleted. Trust me, Cookie Crush is not a system app.
Any tips for getting rid of these icons and cleaning up the app drawer?
as you know within any screen on the phone when you press and hold the Blackberry button for less than 2 seconds it will bring up a "quick menu". Some icons are ALWAYS listed under this "quick menu" whether they are closed or not, such as BB messenger, Browser etc. Is there any way I can add or remove icons in this quick menu?
