Xperia X8 :: "Can't Establish A Reliable Data Connection To The Server"
Oct 26, 2012
Recently I updated (repaired) my Xperia X8's android OS by using PC Companion. Now I cant log in, in my google account. After giving id & password everytime it says "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or ypur phome may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care."
1. I did reset factory data. [ settings > privacy > factory data reset ]. And same thing happened.2. Tried to open a new google account too. Same report appeared.3. I'm using wifi not mobile data. Signal strength is excellent. Wifi is working. I'm using browser of my phone.
I had some minor problems on my phone which made my market crash and I decided to do a factory reset. After that.. s*** gone wild. I done everything I had to do, at the startup I wanted to login to my g-mail but NOPE. So, I've done another factory reset. And another. And another. Then I got the PC Companion, reset my phone twice that way. Still nothing.
I have recently purchased Xperia X8. I have downloaded GPRS settings for Airtel and able to browse all websites. But when I try to add a Google Account through Market Application, I am getting the following error. Can not establish a reliable data connection to the server.
Kepps coming when i try to log into gmail on my phone. I don't know what to do.. I tried everything, i restarted my phone, i even repared it with sony ericsson companion.
i bought the xperia mini pro a couple of days ago...i have been impressed with its features and functions and it really looks a real deal....i havent been disappointed by any of its feature...but today when i tried to acces andriod market i am unable to create a new google account therefore cant go through andriod market.as it says "can,t establish a reliable data connection....."i have been searching tirelessly on internet on this issue and have found that it is very common one....so i tried the following things but it didnt come up with the required result 1.i checked the "background data raffic" in accounts and sync.2.i tried to reset my phone wihout the sim card but nothing helped....now i cant try that Internet account trick as "Internet" is banned in my country due to some religious issues...the thing left to do is a "hard reset" i havent done that in any of my phones but i think i have to do it now...fortunately there is almost nothing that i have saved in this phone...i did take a couple of photos today but its not that important.....is it worth to "hard reset" my phone? as i havent done it ever since...would it be safe to do and not remove my stuff saved in my memory card?..as i dont want to lose my music and other stuff saved in the memory card....
I have a sony ericsson xperia x8, I have tried to log in to the android market loads of times but every time it says "can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". I have tried using wifi and changing the internet settings and not using 3g but it still wont let me connect! I have tried creating a new account as well but it just says the same thing!
I have been using my Galaxy S5 for about 7 months. I have always had connection issues, and I want to fix it. I reset my phone (factory) and I thought it would fix. It didn't, which disappointed me.
I have CA-101 USB data cable . Still I am unable to establish the Connection between the PC and the Phone. During the process of establishing conection the process of Intsalling PC conectivity step is not completing.
I have a quick question concerning the internet connection of the Nokia E51. Is there any convenient way to simply establish a connection to the internet (either WiFi or 3G) without starting an application? I know there's an icon labelled "Internet" but it's actually the browser, not a simple means to connect to the Internet.
If this isn't supported by the E51 directly, maybe there's software that can get it done?
My RAZR M seems to have problems establishing a GPS connection. I have successfully established the connection, but often have to reboot the phone in order to get the connection established. At this point, I have been unable to figure out the pattern of when I can no longer get connected. I have turned off all Smart Actions that manipulate the GPS connection, I have tried leaving it on all the time, or off when I am not outside, nothing consistent that I can figure out.
My Nokia 5800 can't establish connection with WPA-protected home Ad-Hoc network.
I created such network based on my laptop wireless adapter and configured a WPA2-encryption for it. Then I found this network available via Nokia 5800 wlan-menu and tried to connect - this caused an error "System failure: function is not supported". So that Nokia smartphones support only open and wep-encrypted Ad-Hoc networks. WPA/WPA2 is enabled only for infrastructure mode. (But my laptop wireless adapter only supports managed mode, ad-hoc and monitor mode, so I can use only ad-hoc mode to set up home access-point. And I am sure I should use only WPA encryption for it, because WEP is vulnerable)
Maybe I can edit some configuration file in my Nokia device to enable WPA-encryption for Ad-Hoc?
If Nokia can enable this function in later versions of firmware?
I also will be very grateful if you recommend some symbian-applications which can enlarge wlan-functionality in my phone.
my S5 tell me I am connected and my speed is excellent. However cannot open new emails, FB page posts or use what us. Keep getting a message saying cannot establish connection, tap to retry.have I got a virus?
Recently I've been unable to access emails on my D2G. I receive a notification tone and light but when I go to email it tells me it can't establish a connection. I check the account and my password which should show as ******* now shows as ****************************. Who or what is adding the extra digits to my password. It's a yahoo/sbcglobal account. I've been having similar problems with corporate account at the office.
We have two Z2 tablets and for the last 48 hours have not been able to connect to the server www.sony.net. It is not a WiFi problem - other devices in the house are OK eg Apple iPad. WiFi checker shows a 5.2 error. The sony.net website is accessible on my PC (interesting to note that their Recent News Release page makes no mention of their troubles with the North Koreans!)
recently youtube has stopped working on my sony xperia z3 dual. it is still working on my sony xperia z1, uninstalled all the youtube updates, and restart the handset. but issue still there Error Message: "connection to server lost, touch to retry"
Every few moments my screen displays a small blue bar with the words "Error Connection Server" (super English!). Why my screen has to be infested with this popup every few moments and how I can disable it?
I have a strange problem that occurred today after a year of using Z2 without any issues.I've connected my phone to PC to drop/backup some important photos I've made with Win explorer (as usual, sd card, copy, paste to C:userdocumentsphoto... etc.)
And after the backup copying was complete I saw in explorer that 6 Gigabytes in Sd card were gone. I went back to see if photos copied properly and they did, but Z2 has erased also movies, settings, music and e-books from SD card... it went completely stock with only android folder on board.
Restarted the phone, see if it will recover SD itself but all media was gone, in settings, application some of the sony apps were dated to February 1970 ?!?! There was no background defocus and AR effect in 1970 right?? Scanned the phone and Win7 with Avast, Spybot 2015 and BitDefender... all devices and PC are clean and protected.
I did a "Repair Phone" inside PCCompanion (in order to do a clean install of the OS). Afterwards I no longer have 3G data connection (no internet browser, e-mail, etc). I am able to make voice calls, but absolutely no data connection. My "Wireless & Network" setting shows that the "Data Enable" is on. I called my carrier and there is nothing wrong with my account. I tried putting the SIM into another smart phone (iPhone), and everything works fine.
Have Xperia Neo and runs on the latest Android 2.3.4.It loses data connection and never gets back unless phone is switched off and on again. The network connection is available.
I m using Xperia Mini for 6 months and now for few days i m having problem in switching ON data traffic. When ever i switch ON data traffic it doesn't turns up
Is it purposely designed that Z3+ dual automatically drops data connection in calls? or it's just something wrong with my phone? For me it is necessary to go online while talking on the phone at the same time. I've tried to deactivate one of the SIM and the same problem persists.
I cannot get the mobile data connection to work. I have restarted the phone, contacted my network provider for the information to set up a new connection, have updated the software, have done a reset but nothing is working. I also do not have the 3G symbol next to my network provider so something seems to be missing or not working correctly.
I have put the sim into my Iphone and I do not have any problems. It immediately connects to 3G and I have internet and do not have to change any setup info. Its pretty frustrating as I have only had it for less than a week but have spent most of the time searching for a solution and am wondering, if there are this many issues, whether not to just return the phone. Any tips to setup the mobile data connection?
i'm located in Malaysia and have been calling the network operator asking if they have data connection problem and they said NO. i have friends using the X10 with different network operator and experiencing the same thing..is this hardware or the upgrade?
I am using Xperia Neo V for 3 months now, and suddenly I experienced this. My internet connection was not working properly, it keeps on loading the apps I am accessing but the contents were not loaded. I already asked this to my network center which is GLOBE/TM and as per their analysis, there is no problem with my sim, it has the correct settings and connection. I can see also a connection logo on my phone, and the connection speed is HSDPA. I also tried to factory reset my phone, it work but then stop again from connecting.
after dropping my Iphone 4 on the floor it can't connect to my PC, the error i am getting in Itunes is "Itunes was not able to establish connection to this iphone, caused by unknown error 0xE8000001". Itunes suggest to go into an applestore and get it solved but since third party has replaced the screen will apple not touch it....I have tred to uninstall itunes after closing down a few apple files via "task manager" and hard restored the Iphone but the phone will not acctivate, only get to the screen saying "connect to itunes". when i plug in a fully functional USB cable in a fully functional USB plug in my PC (windows 7, 64bit) does the phone connect and disconnect with the PC a few times, sometimes it keep on connecting/disconnecting but when the phone able to establish connection do i get a box saying "error 0xE8000001" and when clicking on the phone can i see its charging the battery but no possibilities to make a firmware restore or anything els. (have only the option to "eject" the iphone). is it possible to go one more step back than "hard restore" so the phone need to reinstall all hardware ect ect?
I've just switched SIM cards from Vodafone to Telstra to try and get more reliable coverage. The phone has connected to the Telstra 3G network and I can make/receive phone calls and texts, however I have not been able to get a data connection (and my plan has 500GB included) except on the house wifi.
I use Polar Flow app to synchronize my training sessions from Polar V800 to the web: Polar V800 - bluetooth 4.0 - mobile - [URL] ....
I have upgraded from Z3 compact to Z5 compact. Nothing else changed. Since then the synchronization is almost impossible. The syncing process fails after 30-60 seconds every time. If I am lucky the current training session can be uploaded to the mobile after 5-10 attempts.
Bluetooth HCI snoop log was fine on Z3 compact but not on Z5 compact. Wireshark detected some inconsistencies in the Z5C's bluetooth log: it has been cut short in the middle of a packet. So I think the bluetooth connection drops very often during data transfer.
I am just sitting on my office desk, 2 meters from the router all day. But the phone keeps connecting to mobile data and just takes 5 kb of data for 20 -30 times a day. I fiddled with automatic background data settings, with no success.
