Have Xperia Neo and runs on the latest Android 2.3.4.It loses data connection and never gets back unless phone is switched off and on again. The network connection is available.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor the past 3 or 4 days each morning I wake up my 8530 has lost the data connection. When I open "Manage Connections" I see a green check mark next to Mobile Network- Verizon Wireless and Wifi so I know it's connected. If I un-check the Mobile Network and wait for it to disable then reconnect it will work fine and all my e-mails and texts from the night get pushed through. I have great service at my house so I'm not sure why my phone keeps losing the data connection at some point during the night. I am running the latest OS .886 and this is my second 8530 "certified pre-owned device" as my first 8530 died. I also did a battery pull the first day I noticed this which re-connected the data but it happened again when I woke up the next morning.Has this happened to anyone else?

Sometimes, I also have zero bars shown for connection quality, but data connection works. Sometimes, I have many bars for signal quality but data connection will not work.

It seems that my phone loses connection to my chromecast constantly. Only way to fix is it to turn off the wifi on my phone and switch it back on. I don't have this issue with my Nexus 5 or my Nexus 7.

since my 5.1.1 update, my iPhone 4S will not maintain connection to my wifi network. I have no problem with my iPad 3rd gen and mid 2011 Macbook pro 13". In fact, my v2 (silver) apple tv is more reliable than my 4S. Steps I've taken on the iPhone - reset network connection, reset iPhone, reinstalled iOS. Nothing works.
I have a cisco E2000 router, set to 2.4 ghz, N only, wpa personal only. No fancy characters in the password. The 4S will connect, then drops the connections after around 15 minutes.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless bluetooth enabled speaker. I have paired it with my Blackberry Bold 9930. I play music (Pandora) on the blackberry and it plays thru the speaker. When the music changes songs it stops playing on the wireless speaker and starts playing thru the BB speaker. I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth on the BB to make the music play thru the wireless speaker again. The same thing happens when I get a phone call and music is playing thru the wireless speaker..The speaker instructions say to use A2DP for audio streaming between devices. how to keep the music streaming to speaker?

The latest incident was this morning. When I woke up I noticed that I didn't have the indicator light blinking on the outside of the phone when I know that I should've received e-mails throughout the night. When I went to go check it, I got the spinning circle for a minute or two and then "unable to connect" or whatever the connection error says. In this instance I was connected to my wireless network at home and my web browser was moving along very quickly so I know it wasn't the means to connect to my mail server that was the problem. Simply shutting off my phone and restarting fixed the connection issue this morning. The time before that, I received the error and then left the phone on my desk for about 20 minutes and it reconnected itself.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently had issues with my Xoom where it often loses touch connection. When I touch and drag it suddenly acts as if I lifted my finger when I did not. It's almost like something is interrupting the touch. I've tried uninstalling everything, doing a restore, stopping services, restarting the tablet, but none of it has worked.This does not happen all the time, but happens often, most often when I first turn the tablet on or when I've been using it a long time. Imagine playing Angry Birds and having the bird fling itself when you've just started pulling back the sling shot. It's quite frustrating. Kidding aside it affects other applications as well. For example I can no longer draw dependably since my lines end up cutting off at unexpected moments.
My screen also has some kind of strange oily stuff under it when I press it. I thought these issues were due to my screen protector so I took it off, but the issues continue. It's been getting worse to the point where sometimes it does not go away for a while. Eventually the oily stuff disappears but when I touch the screen it comes back.
My brand new phone goes into a white screen and locks up.T-Mobile said to reload the OS .330. Is that the fix?I did a back up and can reload the OS.When I go to restore my data, (after three times) about half way through, the BB loses connection to laptop.I get error "could not establish connection to device". BB reboots, and I still have no data.
Also, through all this, I was getting JVM Error 529.I kept pulling out the battery.
Question: Why the white screen of death? Why is my back up not restoring? Should I start over again? Is there a way to do a clean install and not install over the existing OS?
I barely get a signal standing in front of the router! I dont even use it anymore. The phone also drops both 3g and 4g for no apperent reason.

Everything worked perfectly for a while - music, calling etc. but just recently if I try to use voice dialing, if I hold down the control key on the earpiece to initiate voice dialing it gives some slow beeps, disconnects and loses its pairing connection to the phone. Now I have to go back - delete the headset and re-pair them again!

In order to get my internet back I need to reboot the phone, or switch airplane mode on, then off.It seems to occur after I leave the house, so it may be that the phone is having trouble automatically switching from Wifi to 3G.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the issue?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem that occurred today after a year of using Z2 without any issues.I've connected my phone to PC to drop/backup some important photos I've made with Win explorer (as usual, sd card, copy, paste to C:userdocumentsphoto... etc.)
And after the backup copying was complete I saw in explorer that 6 Gigabytes in Sd card were gone. I went back to see if photos copied properly and they did, but Z2 has erased also movies, settings, music and e-books from SD card... it went completely stock with only android folder on board.
Restarted the phone, see if it will recover SD itself but all media was gone, in settings, application some of the sony apps were dated to February 1970 ?!?! There was no background defocus and AR effect in 1970 right?? Scanned the phone and Win7 with Avast, Spybot 2015 and BitDefender... all devices and PC are clean and protected.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI did a "Repair Phone" inside PCCompanion (in order to do a clean install of the OS). Afterwards I no longer have 3G data connection (no internet browser, e-mail, etc). I am able to make voice calls, but absolutely no data connection. My "Wireless & Network" setting shows that the "Data Enable" is on. I called my carrier and there is nothing wrong with my account. I tried putting the SIM into another smart phone (iPhone), and everything works fine.

I have restarted the phone, contacted my network provider for the information to set up a new connection, have updated the software, have done a reset but nothing is working. I also do not have the 3G symbol next to my network provider so something seems to be missing or not working correctly.
I have put the sim into my Iphone and I do not have any problems. It immediately connects to 3G and I have internet and do not have to change any setup info. My internet connection was not working properly, it keeps on loading the apps I am accessing but the contents were not loaded. I already asked this to my network center which is GLOBE/TM and as per their analysis, there is no problem with my sim, it has the correct settings and connection. I can see also a connection logo on my phone, and the connection speed is HSDPA. I also tried to factory reset my phone, it work but then stop again from connecting.

I have upgraded from Z3 compact to Z5 compact. Nothing else changed. Since then the synchronization is almost impossible. The syncing process fails after 30-60 seconds every time. If I am lucky the current training session can be uploaded to the mobile after 5-10 attempts.
Bluetooth HCI snoop log was fine on Z3 compact but not on Z5 compact. Wireshark detected some inconsistencies in the Z5C's bluetooth log: it has been cut short in the middle of a packet. So I think the bluetooth connection drops very often during data transfer.
