While typing a text using the android keyboard, on longways with full keyboard, the text window will close itself and show me the text message i'm replying to. I will then have to reopen the text area to type again.also, while typing on length-wise, the t9 will kick in, but the words being typed will not show in the text box.

This just started happening about a week ago and is very annoying. I have to reboot to fix it but it just happens again and again. I haven't had any os updates lately and don't recall an app update that would cause this.
View 12 Replies View RelatedUsually when I write an sms it shows up green and imessages shows up blue, and they both show up chronologically in the same window. I.e. my iphone understands it is from the same person and therefor post both types of messages in the same window. However a month ago or so my boyfriends imessages started showing up in a seperate window from his regular green text messages... Why? We have changed no settings of any sort. Nothining has been altered, and on his iphone both types of texts show up in the same window. My other iphone contacts also show up in the same window with both green an blue texts. How come his dont? His email as such is not a part of his contact details, i did however try adding it to see if that would help make the messages go in the same window but it didnt He has a iphone 3s i have 4, (not s).All I want is for the blue and the green messages to live together in perfect harmony within one window...

The "selfie" window shows up small rather than full screen. The normal back-facing camera is fine.
I'm trying to modify my text message options. In the message list window I press the Blacberry key, scroll down and select 'options' - the options page pops up for about a second, and then I'm taken back to message list. I'm able to open email and other options windows without an issue - this only happens for text message options. Any ideas?

View 3 Replies View RelatedA friend showed me that while a text message window is open, I can tap the screen near the time, and an option will come up which allows me to call that contact. My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s's, but for some reason, when I tap the screen near the time while texting her, the option to call her does NOT appear. The only choices are "Email, Contact Info and Load Earlier Messages". I have deleted her contact info and recreated it, and it still is the same.

I'm using Xperia ray since late September. Last few weeks, I upgraded my phone to Android 2.3.4 build 4.0.2 A.0.42 via Software Update service (Location: Thailand, if applicable) and installed the recent Facebook v 1.8.0 from the market. Now, I'm having a problem with Facebook application. It always shows "force close" for this application and it will automatically re-open the application. I find this error most of the time when update status, check-in places and upload photos. I can't capture screen because "Phone Options" dialog appears behind the 'force close' dialog.I try to remove facebook account from TimeScape and use Facebook for Android from the market instead but still not help. how to fix this.

With the latest update adding the close all button back, but unremovable, I'm slightly annoyed.
Could we have the option to block or hide the package as we did on KitKat? Or at least move the button so its not right under your thumb.
People shouldn't be compulsively closing all apps, messes with androids memory management.
When using the camera it won't focus unless close up.

Everytime I open an application that uses the rear camera I get a force close and application ends. Everything to do with the front camera works fine.
Well, my Xperia Z2 foto it's update last week, I guess it's to the new lollipop firmware.And although I don't even care for the new styling (I liked the old one better) I can get use to that.But there are a few things that are really not an improvement.
Where in the last version it was pretty easy to select silent and vibration mode by pulling down the top of the screen.Now I can't figure out how to select vibrate notification anymore.I can't close all the open apps at one time anymore where there was a button for that in the last versionAnd I can't close my browser Window anymore.
My phone today seems to be stuck in a force close loop. It pops up down the bottom of the phone in a black box 'forcing close of player' and 'closed?', every few seconds, exiting whatever app I am currently using. This only happens immediately after I turn the screen on, for about 20 seconds and then stops until I turn the screen off and then on again. I have not rooted the phone or done anything out of the ordinary. I did download a couple of apps from the play store and have since deleted them, but I still have the problem. I have read to clear the cache partition to fix this issue, but I believe it is in recovery mode which the Z3 does not have. I would prefer not to do a hard reset. Is this my only option?

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I plug my X10 into my PC or laptop, SE Phone Tools pops up with a windows explaining to me how to mount my SD card. If I close this window, it reappears about a minute later and will continue to do so until I quit PC Companion, mount my SD card, or unplug my phone.
Is there any way to disable this window while keeping PC Companion running? I run PdaNet tethering software and will also sometimes charge my phone through my PC. Neither of these situations require me to mount my SD card nor do I wish to always do so.
Either way, there should be an option within PC Companion to permanently disable this useless window (after a week of using the software, I was more than aware how to mount my SD card).
I am having a problem with the camera on my X10i, whenever I try to take a picture the phone freezes up and after about 20 seconds I get the message: "Sorry, Activity camera (in application camera) is not responding, then I get the option to force close or wait. Waiting doesn't work either.

I have configured 2 Yahoo! accounts in my Default Email App. One works perfectly, but the other, whenever I select the Inbox, it just force closes all the time giving the below message: The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. try again.
Why is this happening, as one account is perfectly working while the other is not? I have tried everything, from factory reset to repair.
