Xperia X10 :: Put A Shortcut On The Main Screen For The Battery Level?
Sep 21, 2010
Is there a way to put a shortcut on the main screen for the battery level? I have been unsuccessful so far. I don't think the shortcuts option will let your drill down that deep to place that specific shortcut on the main screen.
My battery level was around the 50% mark, and then I went to lok at my gallery and whilst I was viewing pics it dropped straight away to 1% and told me to charge my phone..........So I plug in the charger and it goes straight back to 47%. It has done this twice, why?
my battery level drops suddenly from 15% to 1%.but when i connect to the charger it starts from 15%.did everything i can.reinstalled firmware 3 time.2 time with SEUS and one with the pc companion.went to the SE shop and changed the battery and got a new battery too, coz i had warranty. but the problem is still there since 5 months back?
I am facing a strange issue my Xperia neo is powering off the phone when battery level falls below 30%. First I thought its my oversight seeing the battery level but today again as I was typing a msg, the phone gave me warning battery level 1% and just got off. When I connected it to charnger and turned it on the battery level was indicating 28% power left. Can it be because of any application? I am using Juice defender as well.
I purchased this z2 just this december and its acting weird for a month now.. It took me awhile figuring out why the unit just shuts down even if the battery percentage was considerably high. The true percentage level only shows up after i press the little thingy on the side for reset..
I Bought a new Xperia mini pro about 3 weeks back and it was so cool and I had no problems up till last week. The prblem of the phone is, the battery level drops to 1% suddenly from 20%. And it says battey is 1% and it'll shut down. I didn't do anything, no rooting nothing. it is same as new. It happened about 4 times during this last week. all 4 times it dropped from 20% or 17% or something to 1%. I'm really scared about that and somebody please help me what can i do regarding that. and when i connect it to the charger following that.
I am finding very strange thing happening with my Neo V - 1254 2586 which I purchased just 2 months back. Once a battery level comes down to 20% and if i try to do something after that, then it just shows me a warning for battery low and pressing OK makes mobile getting switched off automatically. It wont get restart again until and unless I wont put it for charging. When the phone get restarted then the charging level will start charging from 20% which is quite strange. I already removed the battery, cleaned the points many time but problem didn't get resolve.
No sooner did I get rid of my e-mail problem than another one cropped up. The last time I charged my phone, after I unplugged it, the battery level stayed at 100% for more than five hours. Then, when it got down to 30%, the phone warned about low battery level and shut down. Afterwards, it was impossible to turn back on.
Now, I've plugged it in and it still displays 30% battery. It looks like the indicator is out of whack. How can I reset it?
my battery level drops suddenly from 15% to 1%.but when i connect to the charger it starts from 15%.did everything i can.reinstalled firmware 3 time.2 time with SEUS and one with the pc companion.went to the SE shop and changed the battery and got a new battery too, coz i had warranty. but the problem is still there since 5 months back?i dont know what is the problem.i posted 2 times in the past also for the same problem.those arehttp://talk.sonymobile.com/message/173162#173162http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/157411#157411did everything u guys have told. but it still persists.when i remove the battery and reinsert it, there is a loss of about 15% of battery.I have attached few fotos..what can i do?can i install a custom rom likr Cyanogen or nerodroid?
I bought my Xperia Mini 26 days ago. But I am having some major battery problems already. When the battery charge level decreases to 50% my phone automatically displays a message that the phone battery is low and shuts down. It won't even turn on unless it is charged. I know the rules to save battery life, I have already done the following:
1. Turned off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2. Switched to 2G when at home from 3G 3. I have a very low screen brightness 4. Turned off GPS when not needed 5. Disabled the display bravia engine, animations and screen auto rotation
i've had this happen to my 8900, and thought there was something wrong with the phone, but after doing a official update from t-mobile on mt 9700 the same thing happens. whe doing a battery pull and the phone reboots. only on the main screen (the screen with all the apps and folders) the screen is completely blank or white and the only way i can see the folders or apps is by highlighting them. only happened after i updated it and only happens when doing a battery pull, once i reset the wall paper it will be fine until i do another battery pull. i already uninstalled and reinstalled my blackberry desktop and try to reload and that didn't fix it. anyone had this issue or know how to fix it.
The camera app on my Z3 times out, and the camera app closes and returns me to the main screen, after 30 seconds. Sometimes that isn't long enough -- I'm waiting for a specific thing to happen that I want to photograph, like the start of a sporting event, and reopening the camera app is a pain.
a few days ago I bought my SE X10 mini pro.I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35% A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery. So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...
The X10 is my first mobile. when I touck an "Item" (icon?) on the Application Screen it doesn't open the application, the "Item" appears on the main screen (Desktop?)how do i stop this? Also, when I go to turn the phone off the touch pad doesn't respond.
How do I control what shortcut icons appear in the screen corners ?? And yes I have attempted to glean the info from the manual but without success. My immediate problem is that the bottom left & botton right icons have changed to something I never use, which makes it a PITA to find the applications I really want there.
may i know how to change the lock screen wallpaper without changing the main screen wallpaper?and without using 3rd party app.if must using 3rd party apps to do it, which apps is suitable for changing lock screen wallpaper beside GO locker?
In my old Xperia phone, I can create Direct Dial shortcut on Home Screen. In which the icon displayed for the shortcut is the photo in the Contact. However, after I changed to the new Z2, the photo can't be displayed as icon on the Home Screen.
The problem is that my battery indicator stays full all the time. Battery life is OK (2-3 days) but is very annoying cause I don't know the battery level. It pass from max level directly to 1line and shortly the phone switch off.I tried 3 kind of firmwares (including last one 410.21.010), charging phone in different ways, different chargers, hard reset etc. and nothing. The phone is new (2 weeks of use) but no warranty.Any solution?
So, I opted to do a restore on the new iPhone 4 from a 3G running iOS4 image. Everything seems to have restored just fine but I've noticed that the battery level percentage isn't being reported on the top of the screen. I've crawled through the settings and can't find anything on changing this. Was wondering if anyone else had run into this or if I'm going to need to bite the bullet and build the phone up from scratch. To be honest this shouldn't be necessary, but could be my only option.
BTW, my reason for doing the restore is simply a matter of data. I have several apps that contain 2 or more years of information. Most have a "save/restore" feature but several don't. Even those that do have their own unique way of saving which will add time to building the new phone.
I purchased a second hand nexus 5 to find out that the battery indicator is always showing 42% and never updates, regardless of the actual battery charge level. I tried replacing the battery with the one from my brother`s nexus 5, then replaced the usb port board. Also tried:
- rooting - installing twrp 2.8.7.1 - elemenalX 6.0 kernel - Android 6.0.1 - Cache and dalvik wipe - Use the battery until phone shuts down
Although the indicator jumped to 83% and to 54% after some actions which I dont remember. Maybe after cache wipe, not sure.
Yesterday I let my battery drop to below 5% for the first time, just to see how long it would take. I noticed that as soon as the phone hit 5% it dropped the screen brightness down so dark I could barely see that it was on. When I opened the notification bar, the brightness control was gone. Plugging in the phone immediately brought it back to a usable brightness and the control returned. Is there a way to disable this?
My observation is that REBOOT issue some how related to battery level reader s/w or something. because as soon as battery level goes below 80%(approx), device start rebooting and after some reboots it shows battery level in "red'.
Remove battery put back and 80% cases reboot cycle stops and battery level is normal. However it remains for some time only. try to make/recv call and it starts rebooting again.
