I have downloaded android 2.1 and I can not download MMS and internetsettings. I just called customers service about the downloadissues my X10 has, but they shove it over to Google, that they're messing with the market. Since google has nothing to do with my internetsettings
Also, HOW do you turn off autocorrect in the messages? It's annoying and I can't find the options anymore.

It said that if i'm opening a web page or something like i just need to press the button on the buttom left of the phone press more and then download and like that i can cancel my download , but when i follow the step they say that my dowload history is empty, but in the top left of the screen of my phone we can see the little arrow that show i'm dowloading and when i drag the arrow down i can see the application dowloading but nothing in the dowloading history. I have had a few problems with connections on the phone so far (Sony Ericssons sync took about 5 goes to work without seeing 'HTTP error' so I don't know if it's a connection problem or an app store problem. I am signed in fine to my google account as I have synced the google calendar with no problems.
I have been sent a message to my inbox and all it says is "message not downloaded" I have tried pressing it then choosing download message but nothing happens.

I've upgraded my X10i to 2.3.3 Gingerbread recently. I've also installed various programs after that. Wireless was working fine till suddenly applications using the net ceased to connect or download over wireless. Mobile connection works ok but when I switch to wireless, net activity stops. I didn't change any setting on my modem (US Robotics). I also have an Android Pad which can connect through the same modem without any problem, also my wifes laptop doesn't have problems connecting. Then I tweaked further and discovered that my X10i can't resolve domains into IPs. When I use the website's IP to connect everything is fine. I can browse or download within the same website that I connected with its IP but if I try a link to somewhere else or try with the domain name the phone gets stuck trying to connect (surely at the domain resolving state). My local support told me either to use repair on PC Companion or change the modem settings to Wep (it's wpa/wpa2-psk currently) but I want to do neither cuz I can't change every modems setting I come across nor reset the firmware everytime with all my program installed gone to trash. There must be a clear solution, more likely a setting somewhere.
And that's exactly the same problem I have, I can browse when connected with IP addresses but not with domain names. Although my x10 is also upgraded to 2.3, I don't think that's a 2.3 problem. I too think that's a setting problem somewhere.
