Can someone tell me why I can't re-install some apps. that I had before I upgraded the software on my phone? These apps do not even show up in the marketplace on my phone, but they do on my wife's (same phone). We have gone through all the settings on our phones and did not find anything different.

I've tried to download a couple of free things 2 days ago and they are still downloading?I know my internet is working ok as I can access Yahoo email and the browser no problem so my connection is ok?But the blue "shimmering" download bar is showing saying "Starting download" but after many many hours still nothing?Then it stops and I've got to restart it again?

I've tried clearing cache and resetting the market and know i've a master reset as a last chance option
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just got an Xperia mini pro and I can't get it to download anything from the app store. I can click on the apps and the progress bar appears and says 'starting download' but it never does.
I have had a few problems with connections on the phone so far (Sony Ericssons sync took about 5 goes to work without seeing 'HTTP error' so I don't know if it's a connection problem or an app store problem. I am signed in fine to my google account as I have synced the google calendar with no problems.
what apps are worth downloading from "market"? i realise it depends on what one requires however i'm sure some can be universal to all users. best free apps, best paid apps.

I have updated the software from 1.6 to 2.1, I have tried signing out of google talk, removing the market updates and clearing the market cache and have now done a factory reset and I still can't download from the market. Any apps I have tried to download are showing on the market on my computer as being downloaded. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications.I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly.
When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to.Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all.
I just bought my phone few days ago and I noticed that whenever I download and Install an app it install and download it on my phone memory so I was wondering is there any way to download them to memory card and Install them on memory card Instead or even move them from phone memory to my memory card?

Unable to update / download apps from Google Playstore on Z3 and my brothers Z3 compact, i am stuck in downloading page. I have cleared data, cache, restarted both the phone still the same. I have tried using WIFI and mobile date still the same. Last resort is to re install either trough PC Companion or through service center.
