After I keep my phone X10 overnight for standby, I miss calls in the morning. Most of my contacts complain about my phone being switched off or not reachable.
Incidently phone does not show any network loss or any other indication like that.
Once I get up and call somebody after that i get all missed call SMSs from my contacts and complaints from my boss
My wife's 4S has been running down about 50% overnight in standby so I decided to investigate it. The basic problem is that it is showing a usage figure of almost the same as the standby figure while in standby indicating that something is running. After trying all sorts of things (including a restore), in desperation today I restored her backup to my 4S and my backup to her 4S. The problem remains with hers which is really strange indicating a hardware problem, but the fact it is showing too much usage would indicate software.

Phone is frozen, phone is hot and phone wont turn on.I have to do the hard reset (volume key + power) to reset it / turn it off. this has to be a charging issue because the battery is at 95 - 97% when I turn it back on, indicating there is something seriously heating the phone up during the evening.

If I keep the phone in stand-by, after 10 minutes or so, the app stop to communicate with the world. That means that I will not recieve any notification about incoming messages unless I turn on the screen. Otherwise, if I use whatsapp only, it works just fine.

I set the display to timeout 15 sec after inactivity. Whenever I have a call coming in, it vibrates and rings. But if I don't answer or reject it after 15 sec, the screen will turn off and vibration will stop at the meantime, although it keeps ringing and notification LED flashing.
Sometimes, when a call coming in, it shows a pop-up window, but all the sudden it switches to a full screen interface, and again no vibration at all.
It is very annoying because I have vibrate mode on all the time and put it on my work desk. I won't realise there's an incoming call if it doesn't show any notification.
Can delete camera of the lock screen?

Since I use a brand new SIM of German network carrier E-Plus my Neo seems to randomly lose network signal completely. This sometimes even happens without any change of location. However, this occurs only in standby. As soon as I turn on the screen the network signal will be re-established immediately (-> screenshot below). As I can receive calls and text messages during these 'no signal' periods I would assume a software bug. However, I didn't notice this behaviour with a SIM of Vodafone which I had in use a couple of weeks ago.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter unlocking the phone from stand-by the brightness is noticeable lower than the one I set, without adaptive brightness on, and after a short period of time, usually under 30 sec, the brightness goes up to the level I set it, and stays like that as long as the display is on. This problem repeats randomly, but very often, maybe 80% of the cases. The difference in display brightness when this happens is probably 10% - 15% and is very annoying. I already did a factory reset and a fresh install via PC Companion with no results. The phone is 2 months old, no major software update until now so I can't tell if it's a software or hardware problem.

So I woke up this morning and I keep my 3GS plugged in over night everyday connected to my MacBook pro and my mbp never goes to sleep so the phone stays getting a charge. I woke up this morning and it was at 98% or 97%. First time ever doing this. Is there a reason for that? I'd appreciat it if someone had an answer. 5 minutes later after using it while still plugged in the charge went back up to 100%
So my S6 is rooted, running XtreStoLite and Xposed with Amplify + Greenify. When I left my phone overnight on WiFi I only lost 4% but on mobile data I lost pretty close to 50%.
