Jan 30, 2010Can anyone think of a valid reason why Verizon should not waive the early termination fee for those of us who bought the problematic Tour 1 (which has now been discontinued other than Certified Like New Replacements) and allow us to trade up to the Tour 2, which is supposed to be better. We would sign a new two year contract, of course. I am on my third 9630 and still have to use tape to correct the battery door wiggle and use a questionable trackball. My latest was made in Mexico, replacing one made in Canada. For those of us who bought when they 9630 came out, we still have about 1 1/2 years to go on our contracts and our phone was discontinued after only 6 months and replaced by a new model. What is wrong with this picture?

May 29, 2010I have just received a "Blackberry Bold 9700 Unlocked International Version" which i purchased from Amazon.Com. "This is supposed to be a new unbranded unit".
The installed software version is 5.0.0.351 with platform 5.1.0.98 and branding version 1.0.160.529q.I have read in this forum that there is a later version of the os available yet when I utilized the BB desktop software updater, it say that the latest version is installed. Is this correct?
I also have other issues with applications. I am unable to download and install the "BlackBerry APP World"; I get a message, " Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World"
"Google talk" give an error messag: " Service not enabled for this hand held" "Blackberry maps" are not loaded on the handset.Setup wizard does not give me the option to set up my personal e-mail only enterprise e-mail.I am able to browse and send and receive MMS & SMS messages.
Kindly advise as to ho to resolve these issues and whether there is a more current software version for the handset, and if so: how do I update it.

Apr 29, 2012I Have installed officially the new anroid 4 ICS on my Xperia Pro and many of my games aren't working and just crash and close the moment i pay the game.i want back my old anroid but i know that i can only do this in the service center.I need to know if there's an other way to downgrade my android with rooting or with flashing or anything else .JUST GIVE ME BACK MY ANDROID i agreed to install android 4 because i was thinking it was better and improved but how i see it causes me much more problems ,even if it's more exciting than the old android i don't need it if it doesn't work right.

Mar 17, 2011I've updated X8 from 1.6 android version to 2.1 and the home (middle) button doesn't work anymore. Also the touch screen sometimes doesn't respond. I regret for updating because before this everything was working perfect. I've carefully done step by step the update according to the instructions on PC companion and on site. So is there a way to delete the 2.1 update and return to the root version 1.6?
