Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Gallery Keeps Refreshing After Updating To ICS?
Jul 2, 2012
I have bought the handset (Xperia Pro MK16i) less than 1 month back and recently updated it to ICS by PCC.After the update i observed that the gallery albums and the pictures in it keeps refreshing continuously.I reinstalled ICS using PCC again bt still the same.I have googled this bt no one seemed to have faced a similar problem to mine.
I m unable to access gallery and music file on my Xperia X10i after upgrading it to 2.3.3. Its giving error as FORCE CLOSING android.process.media as its closed unexpectedly.
Since a few days I changed from Galaxy S4 to Nexus 5 but I can't make Instagram to refresh the feed. I don't see an error or something like that, the app just doesn't refresh.
Ive used a sgs2 for about 2 months now and absolutely love d fone. Only problem now is when i download music (mainly from last fm) it doesnt come up on d music player. Previously, i would restart the fone and it would do a media scan AND library scan/refresh and then d new music would appear in the music player. Now for some reason it doesnt refresh the library! Only does a media scan and i cant get the music on the player though i know they undoubtedly on my fone, i see d files on my files. How can i make the fone scan/refresh the library or get my music to the music player any other ways.
For some strange reason, the Apps from Nokia section of the marketplace app on my Lumia 710 is not able to refresh itself, to the extent that there are two icons not fully loaded. None of the newly available apps appear here (including camera extras and contacts transfer), which I managed to get through a QR code download.
every time I open up the Ovi Store I get the message 'You couldn't be signed in automatically, please sign in manually' and so I click on the sign in button and nothing happens. It also keeps refreshing itself as if trying to sign me in automatically every time and just keeps failing to do so. I checked to see if I was needing to update anything but it said everything was up to date.
At first my n8's music player is working fine. But suddenly after i add songs to my n8 and try to refresh the music library, it keeps on saying "library is up to date" but no file or song was added to the music library..I have tried to search some solutions here and follow the instruction like deleting the mpx stuff but stiLl it is not working.
im running 10586.29 om my lumia 950 and since this morning my outllok live tile shows the same 7 emails. In the app and outlook.com its updated but the live tile shows. 7 unread emails.

Every app I am in, whenever I get an interruption like the alarm going on, when i turn it off, the app refreshes and goes back to the beginning. So if I am using the browser to post something over the internet and the alarm turns on, when i turn it off, my page will refresh and i will loose everything i wrote.
It is the same when using the menu. If i go to a specific tab, and then to a sub-tab, whenever i press the back button, i return to the beginnig of the menu, to the quick settings tab.
Another example, if im using any app, i get a message from whatsapp, if i read it and go to whatsapp to reply, when i get back to the app, it refreshes and goes back to the beginning It's really bugging and i don't think it is normal.
App icons random refresh (like as if they are being installed - blue bar). Why is that? Phone is unresponsive for those few seconds. Happens more when switching apps. Say you in Safari and hit home button to go to another app. The whole home screen seems like all apps are refreshing.
i had my blackberry for like 2 months already. No complaints except random glitches with the text messages not refreshing. But 4 days ago, i woke up and unplugged my blackberry torch 9800 from my charger, and thought it was okay. But i started noticing 20 minutes into the day, the battery depleted rapidly. I thought my battery was defective, but i turned off my device, and it said i had 90% battery or so.So for 4 days straight, timeserver the battery got to low, i had to pop out the battery, and it would show the actual battery percentage before it rapidly depletes.I tried wiping my device, then restoring it with back ups and that didn't work.
I've noticed that my Yahoo mail account has not refreshed for several days now. I just removed the account and added it again but it still doesn't refresh.
I can not find how it is possible to "delete" an image or video in the gallery? When I open a video and click on the menu button (say right click !), there are only two options, "edit video" and "display setting"
Recently I bought Xperia Neo v.I'm just loving this phone. The only problem I have is, it heats up quickly while I play Games. But that's ok since it is a mobile and not playstation. But yesterday I experienced a new problem. When I clicked my Gallery I can't able to see anything.I thought all the images got deleted but after sometime I can view all the photos as usual. I thought it will work here after, but my guess failed.Still i'm facing the problem I can't able to view my photos. Why it is happening so ?. My firmware update is the latest (0.42).
I bought New Xperia Mini. It is quite good. but I am facing a problem regrding gallery. I can't access/find the icons or files in the gallery. It showing blank.
I am trying to make Picasa webalbums appear in Gallery, but unfortunately not all of the albums appear. I have enabled Picasa sync from Settings, however the sync icon never diappears. Even when I disable and re-enable Picasa sync, the icon will rotate for a few seconds and then it will stop. It will not disappear as it would normally do after a full sync (that's what happens when calendar, or contacts finishes syncing)
Now, in Gallery, only few of my Webalbums appear. The funny thing is that as the albums load on to the screen some Album Titles flash on the screen quickly, BUT when the loading completes, these albums are nowhere to be found in Gallery.
I'm experiencing gallery malfunctioning (not xperia gallery) after the ICS update to my Xperia Neo V. I tap a photo to open it in big screen but some other photo gets opened despite the particular one I wanted to open. What to do?
I changed from Note 4 to Z5. All the "camera pictures" came over when i did the transfer, but none of the other folders. Is this normal? Is there a way to get IT like I had on the Note? When I transfered from Note 2 till 4 last time everything was the same in gallery..
Im using an Xperia mini pro which I bought a month ago. It's been woking fine till yesterday. From today morning I cant see anything in the gallary. Its just blank with a blured background. It shows "loading files and albums" then nothing happens. It has an SD card (sandisk 4GB). I checked by connecting to laptop. The files are intact. The music player works fine and it plays music from the SD card. But nothing shows up in the gallery. Tried clearing gallery cache and data from application manager. Restarted the phone several times but no hope. All the files can be seen when the phone is connected to the laptop.
Whenever my WIFI is on, my gallery where the images and videos are located won't display. But when I turn off my WIFI, the images and videos display seems fine. Any idea what could have caused this and how to fix it? I won't be able to share photos, videos since I can't view them whenever my WIFI is on.
Also, my Android Market App where you tick going to the Android Market site is not working. It just says loading. Of course this is with my WIFI on.
Any idea how i can view my camera album via each month that i have taken pictures. In my old phone all photos in my gallery used to be stored in a folder under the month that it was taken
After updating to Android 4.0.4 on my Xperia Ray, I miss the (now missing) delete button, in the top bar (in portrait mode) of the image Gallery app. It was nice to have when I went through my photos. I know that I can find this delete function in the options menu, but it's still an extra step. In Danish, the detete function in the options menu, is incorrectly translated, it says now 'Faldende' and the correct is 'Slet'.Can I / we get delete button back?
