Xperia X10 :: Apps Keep Force Closing?
Jul 25, 2011I updated my AT&T X10 to 2.1 about a week ago. It was working fine but it started to get a bit sluggish, so I pulled the battery out and turned it back on. Now after it boots up, it says the Yahoo! Mail app has forced closed, along with the Spotify, My Tracks, eBay, and Timescape apps. Most of the Market apps now force close as soon as they're opened. Words With Friends, Angry Birds, Pandora, Soundhound, NASA, etc. all force close also. Even the Market force closes if I try to open an app's page, or go to "My Apps".
I hooked it up to PC Companion and it says everything is updated.

Dec 9, 2011I found most application available on the Market gives the ability to backup installed applications data only if the phone is rooted (what is not allowed in case of Motorola phones :-P). I used the My Backup before I factory reset the phone, however after restoration I lost my levels achived in Angry Birds and in Bubble Bang (it was over 300 levels, I spent couple weeks on some of them). My Backup handled data only from Note Everything.
Who know the backup application which can backup my games with my achievments to the SD card without rooting the phone?

Nov 20, 2011I would like to root my Xperia x8, however I cant connect it via USB as the port on the phone is damaged. Is there any way of doing it via Bluetooth? Or any way of doing it at all? I should explain that the damage is not covered by the warranty due to 'physical damage' and that the phone is 'beyond economic repair'. Also I am running firmware version 2.1.

Oct 7, 2014I usually transfer all apps, photos ect.. To my 64gb samsung microSD card. Ive redeemed a code on the privilege plus app which i got from the xperia lounge for 3 free movies. I wanted them on the sd card so i turned off the phone and tablet and removed the sd from the phone to my z3c tablet.
I downloaded all 3 videos on the sd and just started watching and have forgotten to place it back in the phone for like 4 days since i wasn't using it and it was off all the time. Today i turned off my tablet and placed the sd into the phone. I turned it on and what i see? 8 apps aren't visible because there's a red sign next to it that apparently its on the sd but its just not reading it. I dont even know what apps are they apart from 4 games because i have them on my home screen and the names under it. Otherwise it says "app not found" when i press on it.

Jul 2, 2015Yesterday I made a light mistake. Because I bought a bigger sd card for my D6603. During the copy and installation of the new SD card in my phone, I used the "move to SD card" function. Several apps were transferred which was fine. Without thinking I reinstalled the SD card a second time. After this I realized my mistake. 14 apps were missing in my launcher. Most apps I could reinstall on the phone and then move to SD card to recover them. But only on app is missing. I dont know yet if it is a default app from 5.1.1. installation or a downloaded one.
1.) Do you have a picture of side 1 to 3 of an fresh installed D6603 with 5.1.1? So I can compare the installed apps.
2.) How can I found out the name of the missing app in a not rooted 5.1.1.?
