Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Default Email App Force Close?
Nov 3, 2010my X10 Mini Pro. I have configured 2 Yahoo! accounts in my Default Email App. One works perfectly, but the other, whenever I select the Inbox, it just force closes all the time giving the below message: The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. try again.
Why is this happening, as one account is perfectly working while the other is not? I have tried everything, from factory reset to repair.

Mar 21, 2012I have a Xperia mini pro SK17i and i've been using it for about 5 months now.. sometimes when i slide out the keyboard, the unit restarts.. and sometimes when playing music or when it's in my pocket it restarts.. i dont know why.. i message alot and i have about 5000 texts under one number.. whenever i want to send a message to that number i have to wait about 45 seconds for the conversation to load.. and while typing the wait/force close popup comes for messaging.. this is very annoying.. sometimes when in a hurry it restarts or messaging section freezes.. i've updated this to the latest firmware (4.0.2.A.0.62) and i did a full flash using SEUS about 3 months back.. but the problem still exists

Nov 24, 2011My Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.

Mar 6, 2011Mainly happens while on facebook mobile, and will occure while typing completely randomly. The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

Jul 18, 2015So basically I rooted and wanted to get rid of some of the bloat, and I removed fb Instagram, the Google+, mag, news, movies and music apps because I never use them, but now when ever I use voice search, it fcs and I'm not really sure, I used titanium to remove everything, could it be because of the other apps i removed?
If i remove google app and reinstall it would that be a fix? I'm stock rooted btw.

What a stress.....I don't have any problem with gmail. Its just other email (msn. corporate email) that I have in addition to gmail... what it does exactly is,
1. I click 'messaging' from home screen.
2. it opens with white background not showing any icon for msn or corp-email.
3. as soon as it covers white background it just comes back to home screen.
same in 'my account' icon...
Droid Razr :: Email Force Close After Motorola Update On 2 / 17
Feb 19, 2012I have a Droid Razr and my carrier is Verizon. Ever since the motorola update on friday, 2/17 I cannot open 2 email accounts (bellsouth and godaddy) They both disappeared from my email icon and altough they are listed in My accounts they have a new green icon next to the name and underneath the email address it says com.motorola.blur.provider.email. The update didn't effect my gmail account. I have spoke to several Verizon reps and a Motorola rep after removing sims card, turning off and on and several soft resets nothing has worked. When I held down the email name in My Accounts it forces close. It says the application My Accounts (process com.motorola setup)has stopped unexpectedly pease try again.

Now, I'm having a problem with Facebook application. It always shows "force close" for this application and it will automatically re-open the application. I find this error most of the time when update status, check-in places and upload photos. I can't capture screen because "Phone Options" dialog appears behind the 'force close' dialog.I try to remove facebook account from TimeScape and use Facebook for Android from the market instead but still not help. how to fix this.

Apr 17, 2015My phone today seems to be stuck in a force close loop. It pops up down the bottom of the phone in a black box 'forcing close of player' and 'closed?', every few seconds, exiting whatever app I am currently using. This only happens immediately after I turn the screen on, for about 20 seconds and then stops until I turn the screen off and then on again. I have not rooted the phone or done anything out of the ordinary. I did download a couple of apps from the play store and have since deleted them, but I still have the problem. I have read to clear the cache partition to fix this issue, but I believe it is in recovery mode which the Z3 does not have. I would prefer not to do a hard reset. Is this my only option?

Galaxy S6 :: Quickest Way To Get To Force Close?
Nov 1, 2015What is the quickest way to force close an app? I use Groove music and I have to force close it from time to time. I used to be able to swipe down hold down Groove in notification window and click the i and then I have that option.
That doesn't work in the s6 it takes me to notification options.
It's aggravating having to go to settings then applications then find the app and so on and so on.
Is there an easier/quicker way?

Jul 25, 2011I updated my AT&T X10 to 2.1 about a week ago. It was working fine but it started to get a bit sluggish, so I pulled the battery out and turned it back on. Now after it boots up, it says the Yahoo! Mail app has forced closed, along with the Spotify, My Tracks, eBay, and Timescape apps. Most of the Market apps now force close as soon as they're opened. Words With Friends, Angry Birds, Pandora, Soundhound, NASA, etc. all force close also. Even the Market force closes if I try to open an app's page, or go to "My Apps".
I hooked it up to PC Companion and it says everything is updated.
