I have an Xperia play and after I drop it I had to change the touch and the flex of the device, in spite of this the new touch does not work, besides that the phone will not start if it is not connected to power Electricity or a laptop, What can it be?
View 9 RepliesI have bought an xperia play.. I like it a lot. The only problem is, my phone does not seem to want to let me connect to it using usb. I can plug it in and win7 recognises it (mtp mode) and I get it coming up as 'Xperia Play' in 'Devices and Printers', however Sony Ericcson PC Companion simply times out when trying to connect to the phone. Also, no notification comes up on the phone regarding USB like I have read in some of the other forum Q&A's.
A friend of mine got rid of a lot of the 'bloat' on the phone with Titanium Backup (I think it's what he used?!).. I am wondering if the 'agent' or 'service' or whatever you call it on the phone is no longer running.. Hence there is no notification on the phone when plugging it in to a PC via usb.
I am going to send it back to where I got it anyway as I have a major issue.. Calls go straight to voicemail regardless of the sim I use. I was trying to update my phone to the latest firmware to see if this problem is solved... But I can't do it. I think sending it back might be the better move. Just thought I'd mention that too in case someone knows of a reason this could be happening (no, call forwarding is not enabled).
My music was working perfectly and then randomly it stopped. I've tried three different headphones, but all the music is played out of the phone's speaker.
One of my headphones has controls to stop and start music, and that works, but it will never play music into the headphones. I've tried turning the phone on and off as well as cleaning it. I've tried listening an audiobook off of overdrive, music, and youtube. I have an htc one mini....
I have a BH-214 and a E52, after i end or miss a phone call the music start to play. This does only happen if i left the player in pause mode

However, when i play Battlefield two and attempt to use both touch pads to move about, the game freezes and locks up until i cease touching the two game pads. FYI, im using the stock launcher and i recently reboot the phone so the stock games were deleted. its a canadian phone on the Rogers network. Should i just bring the phone in?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI phone recently developed a problem with touch screen becomming completely unresponsive. I googled and found its a common fault with Sony Handsets. Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.

I am looking to buy an external speaker to connect to my xperia play, preferably a sony branded one, but definately one that is portable enough to fit in my pocket.I thought I had found the one that fit the bill perfectly when I checked the sony site and found the MS 430 which is supposed to be fully compatible with the Xperia Play (it even doubles up as a phone stand, which is pretty neat).Now the problem is my jack is on the horizontal side of my phone (opposite side to the left flipper) and not on the top end as shown in the picture to connect a phone to this speaker.So therefore the speaker is not compatible with this phone, unless of course I have a unique phone with the jack in the wrong place or the phone is connected in the upright position, which wouldnt be very good when watching video playback.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI used an application killer and killed a lot of apps some of which I wasn't sure what they were for. I've also configured app killer for "Auto Kill". Whilst I was doing this X10 lost its power. After that it just wouldn't turn on. I can feel the vibration when I press the power button and it feels as if it is switching on but the screen is always blank. I've tried taking the battery out and putting back in and then reseting by holding down the right and left silver buttons and power button all at the same time, but this didn't work either.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've encountered this issue (I don't know if I can call it an issue), with my Z2, when i turn it off, and back on, or when restarting the phone, after it has finished the starting sequence, it shows me in the middle of the screen a message saying: Powerfull communications, your messages are evolving....and some other text....and at the bottom it makes me enter my phone numer with country code...and to hit ok.....but it appears about 6 times, hitting ok for six times before it disappears!
