I recently purchased a Sony Experia Play 4g from AT&T. I downloaded about 10 apps, then sent them to my SD card. Now my phone says 'App not found". I tried to move them back to my phone and an error pops up and wants me to either force close or report it. What do I need to do? If this doesn't get fixed, I'm taking it back and getting an LG.
View 5 RepliesWhen I press on the "Get Games" icon, it brings up a list of games that i am able to download, I didn't have any trouble downloading Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, and I also bought the game Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, but what I don't get is why when I press on most of the other games it just brings up a message that says:Not found, The requested item could not be found.. Some games like Assassins creed and Dead Space and Battlefield BC2 and Worms, etc... I can download, but what I don't really understand is why it says that whenever I open something like Minecraft and Guns 'n' Glory... Is it because I live in Egypt? But I'm traveling to Saudi Arabia in less than a month so tell me if it would work there or not..

Its just opening to an "item not found / retry" page. Seems to be since this latest security patch from VZW over the weekend. I've cleared cache and data from the play store app as well as play services.

However, when i play Battlefield two and attempt to use both touch pads to move about, the game freezes and locks up until i cease touching the two game pads. View 9 Replies View RelatedI phone recently developed a problem with touch screen becomming completely unresponsive. I googled and found its a common fault with Sony Handsets. Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.

I am looking to buy an external speaker to connect to my xperia play, preferably a sony branded one, but definately one that is portable enough to fit in my pocket.I thought I had found the one that fit the bill perfectly when I checked the sony site and found the MS 430 which is supposed to be fully compatible with the Xperia Play (it even doubles up as a phone stand, which is pretty neat).Now the problem is my jack is on the horizontal side of my phone (opposite side to the left flipper) and not on the top end as shown in the picture to connect a phone to this speaker.So therefore the speaker is not compatible with this phone, unless of course I have a unique phone with the jack in the wrong place or the phone is connected in the upright position, which wouldnt be very good when watching video playback.

Ive redeemed a code on the privilege plus app which i got from the xperia lounge for 3 free movies. I wanted them on the sd card so i turned off the phone and tablet and removed the sd from the phone to my z3c tablet.
I downloaded all 3 videos on the sd and just started watching and have forgotten to place it back in the phone for like 4 days since i wasn't using it and it was off all the time. Today i turned off my tablet and placed the sd into the phone. I turned it on and what i see? 8 apps aren't visible because there's a red sign next to it that apparently its on the sd but its just not reading it. I dont even know what apps are they apart from 4 games because i have them on my home screen and the names under it. Otherwise it says "app not found" when i press on it.
If i take 3-4 pictures, my z2 automaticly makes a panorama picture, and its great. But when i press "store to library", i cant find the panorama anywhere? Where does it go?

After I updated my phone i tried to restore my data but my phone couldnt find it :/
I thought maybe i didnt back it up properly so i re-tried it again today, it says succesful, and i went on restore and i saw the files i backed up, but after 20 minutes i re-checked it and it wasn't there, so i guess its maybe my phone or memory card?
Can i watch movies in xperia play? do you know any good website to download movies for smartphones format?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to upgrade my Neo V to ICS android (4.0.2.a.0.62). While having the PCC on to latest version, and connect the mobile , software will identify it with no issues. I have been connecting both with MTP and MSC modes. The update starts, downloads from internet and prepares the laptop with no issue. When the sequence gives command to mobile to shutdown and start for the update then, I can hear the sound of reconnection, the led is green, on pc it find a new hardware (SEMC flash) and then freezes. I have tried with USB debug active and not with no difference.
I have tried with Unknown sources (under application) active and not with no difference. I tried the same in windows safe mode with the same result. I tried the Update service also and anytime I connect (press and hold menu or back key and then plug) freezes always. I removed any antivirus on mobile with no result. On PC when connected I can see on the device manager that the usb drivers are Microsoft ones. I have downloaded the Android SDK tools (including usb drivers) but as long as the process stucks on the Found new hardware, I cannot proceed further. I am running on WinXP Pro.
