Jul 14, 2010I have been speaking with Apple Chat grilling them on various aspects of delivery times, release dates regarding the white iPhone.she advised me that i will be able to order the white iphone guaranteed at some point this month from their online store and at an Apple store on release date - nothing new there
when i asked how is it possible to get a product not for sale within the next 2 weeks compared with a product that is now out but cannot get that for another 3 weeks
she advised it is possible that the shipping time will be alot less that that of the black initially depending on how many orders they get - this makes sense INTERESTING though after the rumors of a new design, I asked is it possible that the white phone will be delayed again because if it is ill get a black and she advised.
SHE COULD NOT COMMENT ON THIS HOWEVER SPECIFICATIONS CAN CHANGE ON AN UNRELEASED PRODUCT..what do you make of this ??? why would she have even responded to my question with this answer?
Do you this it will be delayed because they are secretly coating the antenna like the rumors suggest ?

May 31, 2012way to check the Bluetooth protocol version being used for a given device connection on the iPhone? Is there a status screen or logfile somewhere?
E.g., if I connect a headset, is there a way to verify whether the iPhone is communicating with it using 3.0, 2.1, 2.0, etc? This isn't the same as what the device specs say it supports as (all?) Bluetooth devices are capable of falling back to earlier protocol versions. I'm envisioning a situation in which a 2.1 version device isn't fully compatible for whatever reason and so falls back to 1.1- how would you know this has happened?
I want to be able to verify what protocol a given device is actually communicating at for various reasons (security, power usage, etc.)...

My new nokia 5235 have only 72MB internal memory instead of 320MB, and there is also no facility of video calling too. The music has been synced via the MotoCast sychronisation to the directory /mobile/ mml/wmp is is categorized on first level into directories named by the artist and on second level into directories namedby the album.After some work I managed to get the album art be displayed in MotoCast for almost all albums, except a few. For those I see the album art on my PC from which the syncing happend in the windows media player and in Mediamonkey. I also see the album art in the "Cover Art Downloader" and in the "Cover Art Grabber". But in MotoCast it is not there ...!!?
Is there any clear specification available what "album art" is displayed in MotoCast? It seems to be cached somehow beyond the normal caching of the list of media files by the Android "media storage".

The installed software version is 5.0.0.351 with platform 5.1.0.98 and branding version 1.0.160.529q.I have read in this forum that there is a later version of the os available yet when I utilized the BB desktop software updater, it say that the latest version is installed. Is this correct?
I also have other issues with applications. I am unable to download and install the "BlackBerry APP World"; I get a message, " Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World"
"Google talk" give an error messag: " Service not enabled for this hand held" "Blackberry maps" are not loaded on the handset.Setup wizard does not give me the option to set up my personal e-mail only enterprise e-mail.I am able to browse and send and receive MMS & SMS messages.
Kindly advise as to ho to resolve these issues and whether there is a more current software version for the handset, and if so: how do I update it.

Apr 30, 2012I have Iphone 4 currently 4.3.3 version and am having issues updating to current version 5.0.1. Phone is plugged in, computer asks if i want to update, I click yes, computer downloads the new software (25-35 min) but when it starts to transfer to phone an error message pops up saying that the network has timed out. This has happened on two different computers.

Dec 2, 2014I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

Sep 2, 2010Have had issues with my iPhone 3G version 4.0.2 connecting with my MacBook Pro. It's been awhile now that it hasn't been able to connect. It wasn't able to connect since version 3. The problem started when I upgraded my laptop to Snow Leopard. I can connect to the same exact laptop but when booted into the PC portion. I can also connect to my girlfriends MacBook which is running Leopard. I can also connect to an HP laptop. The phone charges when plugged into the wall. It's not an iPhone issue as my girlfriends iPhone also cannot connect to my laptop.
I remember looking this issue up a few months ago and from what I found, there were quite a lot of issues out there with people not connecting to Snow Leopard. Although there were no solutions then. Thought I'd do some searching today and I couldn't find much at all on it. Did it get scrubbed?
I found something on deleting Xcode but I do not have it installed. I've tried everything. I reset the PRAM, hard rebooting the iPhone, updated iTunes, reinstall iTunes, deleted cache and preferences, repaired permissions, etc. Is there a solution other than downgrading to Leopard?
