IPhone 6 :: Unable To Complete Touch ID Setup - Failed
Dec 8, 2014I got the iPhone 6 on launch day, setup Touch ID and it has been working flawlessly. Today, it wouldn't read any of my fingers. I went into settings and none of my fingerprints show up and when I touch any of the three "USE TOUCH ID FOR:" items (which currently are turned off (no green in the toggle) to try and turn it on for that service it goes to the Touch ID setup screen, but IMMEDIATELY goes to a second screen that says "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again."Â
I've tried restarting my iPhone a few times and still have this identical problem. How do I get Touch ID to start working again?

Jul 21, 2010Just wondering if your bold drops calls as frequently as mine does. it seems that sometimes the phone decides to act up and gives me a 'call failed' message whenever i try to make a phone call. I always check how many bars i have and its usually at 4 or 5. sometimes a battery pull fixes this, but other times, the problem is persistent. my old bold 9000 had the same problem, so i'm not sure if it's at&t or blackberries in general.

Aug 11, 2010Just went to update my iphone 4 (32gb) from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 to be greeted yet again with 'update failed, unknown error' followed by iphone in recovery mode.Now, my 3GS did this on 4.0 and 4.0.1, my 4 has done this on 4.0.1 and now 4.0.2.
I dont mind, I have backups but I also have 16gb+ of audio. What is going on? is this something with my laptop or a fault with ios4 updates? Im running latest, 32 bit version of itunes on windows 7.I've tried restoring and updating twice now unsuccesfully.

May 19, 2012I just bought my iphon last night & tried doing it`s first update this morning. I got an error message that the update failed & now my iphone only shows a pic of a usb cable with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo.I already tried holding down the on off buton & the home button like the instructions say. Problem is that when the instructions say I should be at the part where itunes is again recognizing my iphone, my itune is not recognizing my iphone. So I am stuck. I follow the instrustions, but the resluts are different, so I can`t continue to the next step. Very frustrated, as the nearest Apple store is over an hour`s drive away.

Dec 12, 2014I tried to update my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS 8.1.2 via lightning cable, but it failed for some reason because of an unknown error (17).
Now my iPhone won't update, restore or reset to factory settings... it is stuck in restore mode with the iTunes logo and cable showing on the screen.Â

IPhone :: Unknown Error 3194, Secure Link To Itunes Store Failed?
Mar 25, 2012i have tried EVERYTHING to fix this problem. i downloaded tiny umbrella, i added permissions in the firewall,i installed the latest itunes, i added and removed lines from my hosts file, and it still just gives me unknown error 3194 when updating my phone and secure link to itunes store failed when running diagnostics. i have two rules in my firewall at this point and i'm pretty sure apple could steal just about anything off of my computer by now with all the access ive given it. i run as administrator, no cigar. same problem. i've re-started my computer al of 12 times now and still not working. here's what the diagnostics is giving me:

it says itunes is not enabled on fire wall but i beg to differ. like i mentioned earlier: two rules have been created to allow it.it says "network connection timed out" then says "Last successful iTunes Store access was 2012-03-25 11:56:05." thats only a minute before the diagnostics test. dunno if that means anything to you guys, but to me it means itunes has fallen off the rocker.

Jun 13, 2012last month i started recieving an error on the phone which keeps saying initialization failed and this prevents me from making calls and it doesnt even load up my simcard...tried my simcard in other phones and it works perfectly..i have tried a couple of sim card in the phone and i still get the same error..and even without a simcard in the phone it still displays the error of initialization failed..i have tried many tips as advised onlike like reloading the software version and all but i still get the same error.

Aug 9, 2011I have a BlackBerry Bold 9650 that i am using for with wifi so that i can still use my bbm i was working fine until 2 days ago and hasnt been a ble to connect to the wifi that i am using i can connect to other hot spots but not the one in the building that i live in i am using a LINKSYS WRT120N router. I have had our adminstrator reset the router and the modem. I have also tried taking the the battery out of my Blackberry for an extended period of time, and I have also tried to manually connect to the network and i still get the same error. If it helps i am in currently deployed and i dont have service with verizon i was just using my wifi connection.
