I have a w350, and when i had a different computer with windows xp, i could use the usb and the file transfer worked fine. now it wont work, i can connect to pc suite in phone mode, but cant use file transfer mode with windows 7 and a new laptop. any suggestions?

Every time it enters memory transfer mode I have installed the Gordon's Gate Setup and I make sure of turning the phone off and holding C then the application will search for the phone nothing will happen
Then the application will give up looking for the phone and then the phone enters USB transfer mode.
I have a T715 which I want to connect to the computer via a USB cable but it don't connect. But before it used to. But its been a few days that it wouldn't connect. Could you tell me what the problem could be and what I could do to help it connect.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy mother’s Sony Ericsson K800i died (white screen). She's got some photos on her memory stick (Memory Stick Micro) which she hadn't backed up recently. I read somewhere that someone with a white screen problem was unable to access their memory card using their PC software. So I loaned her my memory card reader and M2 adapter as I figured there'd be no problem with getting her more recent photos off the memory card.
We've tried the memory card reader in two machines: XP and Vista but it comes up with the same message about formatting the card. No way do we want to format the card because we want the data off it. Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone else who has a K800 or any phone which takes the same memory card to borrow so we get the photos off Mum’s memory card. Does anyone know of anything else we could try?

I copy and paste the video into the "video" folder on my phone using the USB cable. But then the video does not appear on my phone. What am I doing wrong? I have managed to save the video on my phone now in 3GP format. It shows as a thumbnail, gives the correct length etc. But when I want to play it, it says "playback failed".
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have three problems with my W995a:1) When I'm texting, the backlight keeps changing how bright it is, when I'm texting it will sometimes go quite dark then other times quite bright (not a major issue)2) When I was calling someone, the phone just turned off and I lost the call, I rung the person back, then shortly after connecting the call, they couldn't hear me so I hung up and rang again. Shortly after ringing again, the phone turned off again.3) And finally - my biggest problem right now, is that I just bought a USB cord to connect it to my computer, yet when I do, it keeps on disconnecting from my computer then reconnecting (even though it's plugged in). This makes it impossible to do anything with it.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI need to transfer my phone contacts from my C903 to my X10 mini before the 24th but bluetooth isn't working - "paired but not connected" mesg - and more importantly, the C903 will not connect to PC Suite or PC Companion. When the phone is connnected via USB, the PC finds the Camera aspect of the phone but not the phone itself. When the phone is in Mass Storage the C903 connects to both PC Suite and PC Companion ok. I've tried the standard fixes but to no avail.

When I take off the password from the router there is no problem at all. Another weird thing is I can access router webpage whilst connection is secured but that is it. My router is showing all the time that connection is associated and authorized. Didn't test this phone on other WiFi points.
