I have a SE, Vivaz mobile phone. I buy it 3 days ago. I liked phone very very much. But I had a problem that When I tried to connect WiFi, phone started to search WiFi, after it waited 5-7 seconds and it restart. I updated firmware via Update Service. but it restarted it again again. What is the possible problems? Is it software problem or hardware problem?

My vivaz can't connect to internet via WiFi (router tp-link) when connection is secured I already checked all possible combinations. When I take off the password from the router there is no problem at all. Another weird thing is I can access router webpage whilst connection is secured but that is it. My router is showing all the time that connection is associated and authorized. Didn't test this phone on other WiFi points.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the PC suite from the Vivaz via the memory card and USB cable (as prompted by the program). I subsequently downloaded it from the website various times. I'm asked by PC suite to connect first the USB followed by the phone. The program momentarily detects the phone and then proudly announces that the PC suite is unable to detect the phone. Please go back to start or troubleshooting. Which I have done many times, to no avail! I've tried everything! The computer can detect the phone as storage device but the PC suite finds nothing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am not sure if others have a similar problem.but here it goes.so I got my Vivaz Pro in Hong Kong around July and I brought it back to Toronto, Canada.The phone is nice all along. However, in September (2 months after I bought the phone), the battery is starting to warn out for some reason.I have charged it for the whole night and it only charges for half the amount.Sometimes, is not even charge for the 10%.So I have thought is the battery's problem and got another back up battery.But nothing have changed, the phone is still not charging the battery.I read somewhere that this problem is because there is some error in the phone's motherboard itself, not a battery problem.Can anyone verify the above information?What should I do now since I am in Canada and Vivaz Pro is actually not out in Canada?My phone is still under a 1-year warranty, but I am not too sure if this goes international (like I can still send it to Sony Ericsson Canada for repair?).Someone please help me!

Why does it keep freezing, can't receive or send text messages, keeps going into flight mode and saying insert SIM card and the only way too stop it is by removing the battery it happens at least once a day it is driving me mad. I have taken it back to my vodaphone and they have updated it all and it is still the same. On speaking to several other people with this phone they are having the same problem, People I have spoken too have actually had their mobile phone sent for repair and it still comes back the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Vivaz is having problems by saying I have used all the phone memory, when I haven't. I check the memory and apparently there is 33mb used by "other". There is no "other!". So I was thinking of updating my phone to wipe it and start again and see if this fixes the problem. I downloaded a newer version of the update service for my computer, turn off my phone, take out the battery, re insert the battery, hold the call button, plug the usb in and after a good while, still nothing has happened. And then the update service decided to freeze and won't let me exit so I keep having to restart my computer. What is wrong with the update service/my phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI brought my Vivaz a while ago. The display somehow had a loose connection so it went back to the shop. A while later I got it back, but it started to do this annoying thing, not turning on and it went very slow, but I assume thats because the memory card was almost full. Well, now when I want to turn it on, the white "sony ericsson" screen comes up and a little vibration, and nothing more. When I set it to charge, the red light and the "sony ericsson" screen comes, but after a while I still cant turn it on. When I set it to my computer nothing happens but it "charges" again and the little charge icon never comes up when it charges either. Just the screen I have mentioned and the little red light in the side of the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHad my vivaz a month or so now supplied by 3, it came with some demos already installed on the phone, i went to try tetris but instead of offering to let me play it i had to buy it. Anyway i bought the game from my phone and when i go to play, the bottom half of the screen is filled with a cursor interface (with up down left right buttons then A B C D along the bottom) and the top half is tetris.... when i start the game i get asked if i want sound enabled but cant see the yes or no options beacuse of the interface blocking bottom half of phone (no matter what, all i can do is continue with the sound on which is annoying!) then i get a option to play game, i press random buttons and then the game starts.... i cant move the blocks left or right and i cant see where they are landing. Can you remove the cursor interface on the vivaz? Dont want to buy anymore games unless i get this same problem.
