I downloaded update tool from your web and updated my w205 when i turned it on it shows me insert correct card i have tried all latvian cards and no one of them doesn't work
I just started having problems with the camera in my C905; all the pictures now look blurry, out of focus. The phone was purchased in Dec.2009,and I have contacted SE CSR and will be shipping the phone in for repair. What causes this condition?
All cam driver that I have tried which has manual focus, requiring the user to set the focus to infinity. This is quite uncomfortable for me, so i look into the codes and edit several lines. Finally I've managed to solve the problem. Now you don't have to switch to infinity mode to use manual focus. You can use the code on your own driver with proper credit to me. Is it the lines that you need to change. Find the lines that control the focus operation (property 10) Change the code for this property with this.
First we need to know which property that we use to turn on the manual focus. for some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader. 1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp 2. Currently you can choose the following sounds 1. Camera shutter 2. Bear can opening 3.Tennis ball 4. Laser The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I have couple of doubts regarding any software provided by sony ( earliers sony ericssion) for mobile, camera, cd player etc...since this fourm is for mobile I will talk about my xperia neo.I am buyer of various sony products since 2005. Purchased like cd player, w810i, xperia neo and various headphones. software comes with these products especially PC companion and media go looks good but not friendly for use.PC companion doesn't detect phones for which it is designed for. There could be various reasons for not detecting phone but there should be some solution.For any issue most of the time final conclusion is re-install. If a software required frequent "Re-install" then it is not at all good software.
Also when installing pc companion MBs of data gets installed. But when it come for use it simply doesn't work for a smart phone for updates and all.looking for an alternative or some mechanism that can avoid PC companion for install and upgrade.Intall/upgarde software for android is as good as any OS install then some alternatives should be there if sonys own software doesn't work.I have seen to remove microsd card before update software. This means pc companion have some problem if sd card is present in phone. this could be because of size of memory card.I this case for 2012 line up mobiles, there are internal memory itself is 16gb or more. Then I am sure people will face problem and it will not get rectified as they cannot remove internal storage while updating or installing software.Also there are 2 softwares update service and pc companion. Why 2 softwares??? why cannot sony make a simple single software which is robust enough for any smartphone dependency external software?
I'm trying to download a new software update for my W760a, because it tells me it cannot add anymore contacts and I can't recieve or send texts/ phone calls. When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. It just says on the tab "Sony Ericsson Support Phones Topic Updateserviceapplication W760a", and loads a blank page. Please help me with this problem as I wish to continue using my new phone.

I think the fone fell, cause it was dusty or maybe its because it was charged using the USB cable. What can be the possible cause of the phone not to turn ON?
As the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues... 1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it. 2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Went to an at&t store today and played with the 9800. I had been excited about it, but had never used a touch screen before. Wow, forgetting any issues that “may” exist with OS or the device itself which others have more than covered enough elsewhere in this forum, I was somewhat disappointed. As implied, it’s not the device or OS, but the use of a touch screen vs. my Bold 9000 that I love so much (and thus I’d probably have the same view with switching to any other touch screen device, BB or not). (However, the 9000 keyboard still IMHO exceeds all others including the 9800, which I found to be small, even for my small fingers).
But for those of you who have switched from similar devices to a touch screen, how was the experience? How long did it take to get fully used to a touch screen etc.? One thing I anticipate missing - believe it or not - is the ease of getting around on my Bold. Now I have PocketDay and have 2 short cuts assigned to every key. Not sure if I’ll have the same abilities on the 9800 etc.

For some reason today when i opened up my camera to take a few shots it had problem auto focusing on items close to me, as you know when you tap the screen to focus on a point in the screen you get the circle and a small beep to let you know it's focusing ok, it seemed to have problems getting to this point and there was an audible high pitched buzzing or clicking sound coming from the lens itself and the screen image would not come into focus
the phone has not been dropped or roughly handled so i am 100% sure it's not an issue caused by being knocked, i have tried a reset and a reboot but the issue still remains, also i have done no recent updates and there are none showing so that's not the issue either
When trying to FaceTime with my iPhone 5, the rear camera continually moves from focus to out-of-focus. I'm FaceTiming with absolutely mad because the picture moves from blurry to clear almost constantly.
I had to replace my first iPhone 5 after only 15 months because the rear camera couldn't auto-focus anymore (a well-documented problem), and I had to pay for a replacement phone. Now after only 5 months with the replacement iPhone 5 I received from Apple it seems like I'm having more issues with the rear camera.
I'm writing because I red some places that Nokia E52 has Auto Focus or in some place "Full focus", so Iám wondering is this true, because I can't find no settings to adjust it ?
My Sony Vivaz was working properly and then suddendly applications stopped working. Then I noticed the applications I had installed in the memory card are not longer displayed on the screen, and when I try to take a photo it says there is no memory card and that they will be stored in the phone's memory. Additionally, when I try to reinstall the applications I always get the message File error. What is happening to my phone? How can I fix all these problems?
I bought a new sony spiro this weekend and so far has been a pain in the back. It resets when I try to access the camera, sometines it stops playing music at random times, or it simply stops reading my micro sd. Today I installed the newest firmware, but still the same problem continues.
I am having trouble with the GPS on my vivaz.The problem is that it seems to be having trouble finding the satellites and at best only picks up one, giving me a message that says "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed areas".I have had the phone for about two months now and it did work perfectly at first, I have fitted a zagg invisible skin to the phone and cannot recall if I had used the GPS with it fitted but have tried with the back cover removed and the invisible skin peeled back where the GPS sensor is located but to no avail. Can anyone help or is it a warrenty issue?
Accuracy of the gps on my elm. from wisepilot, chose options-settings-gps but it always says no gps coverage. i have another gps equipped phone and it is able to detect 7 gps satellites from the same location. has anybody experienced problems with the elm's gps and how did you fix it?
I got my satio in may and didnt even have it for a month before things went wrong. firstly, i was never able to send a MMS to a virgin mobile phone. and then i wasnt able to send a text message to anyone. i called SE and they did all this stuff and called my carrier AT&T and nothing was wrong with my service because i put my SIM in my old phone and was able to send MMS and SMS. so SE said i had to send my satio in for repair(why they didnt just replace the phone i have no idea) and now i am waiting for parts. its been 2 weeks since i sent my phone in. and now i hear there isnt going to be another update? theres slight problems with this phone that if were fixed, it would beat the iphone and droid by a mile. i was just getting used to my satio and then i had to return it. they say i probably wont get it back until the 8th of july. thats just crazy in my opinion. why didnt they just replace the phone? when i looked into the satio as my new phone it looked so cool and when i got it i was so amazed by it. i even got a manuel in a different language, had to call SE and they said they wont send me an english manuel and that i should just look it up on their website since they update the software a lot...well apparently they dont since they havent updated it in months. to say the least, i am disapointed in SE with their future of the satio.
I can't decide should I buy Elm or Hazel? I heard about all those firmware update and thats new to me, because I never did anything like that to my old K750i. Is it neccessary to update to the latest firmware? I've also heard that Hazel has a lot of bugs. Is that truth? And recharge problems, are they that bad as they say? I've recharged my K750i for about every 2 weeks.
In a usage time of this phone I had a problem with function Wi-fi. At connection to ad-hoc networks the exchange of packages does not occur. What should I do? I tried to adjust ip-addresses and a network mask manually, to change cryptography techniques, but it hasn't helped.
im not able to send any texts from my vivazpro. it remains in my outbox. i checked with the network people. they said its nothing to do with my sim service.
I bought my cell in June 2009, it works perfectly fine. I used to use wi-fi nearly 5 times in a day (my house has wi-fi) And suddenly about a month back, my wi-fi has stopped working. I mean, it doesn't detect any available networks at all. Earlier it used to automatically detect my home network, but now even if I try to search available networks it shows a blank list - I have even tried searching in places like airports, hotels, etc. as Wi-Fi was one of the main reasons I bought this phone for. I'm having a hard time without it.
our universiry has an open wireless network. for using the internet we have to connect to a VPN with a dialer-VPN. with my elm i can access the wireless with Wi-Fi but how can i set up my VPN username and paaword to use internet? i create an internet connection in my phone and set the username , password and set the APN to the IP address that dialer-VPN connect to. But it didnot work. is there another way to set up a VPN wser , pass and ip?
I am trying to configure my Aino to receive POP email. I am able to do it but as soon as I start using it and delete one message, it stops working. I have to delete the account and and configure it again. I must not delete any message otherwise I will stop working again.
