If I download free games, it's ok. When I try to make a purchase, it fails. Then I try using the same SIM card and make purchase with my old K800i, purchase and download success. I'm using Maxis. What has gone wrong?
View 3 RepliesWhen i click on my apps or games menu it says operation failed. i was looking through the forums and found a solution except that solution was for when you could actually access the folder and only when you select a specific app/game it said operation failed. i cant access the folder at all. is there anyway at all to fix this problem for free without having to resort to that wotanserver thing? im not being cheap, i just think its rubbish to be charged anything at all to fix a problem like this when it is the manufacturers fault for selling faulty phones which all have a common problem which isn't caused by a users ill-treatment. and another question, why cant i seem to find software to flash it myself without that wotan thing? i mean, surely its just software that you run. someone must have cracked it?

In the menu there is a icon called App Shop and when I access it an error message "failed to download catalogue" appears whether by wifi or internet connection. I realise that the playnow website is for getting apps ,games,music etc so is this app shop function no longer in use? or do I have a problem? If this app shop icon is indeed defunct then is there a way to delete it ? I have updated all my software and also used the update phone function to check firmware and all was ok.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHad my vivaz a month or so now supplied by 3, it came with some demos already installed on the phone, i went to try tetris but instead of offering to let me play it i had to buy it. Anyway i bought the game from my phone and when i go to play, the bottom half of the screen is filled with a cursor interface (with up down left right buttons then A B C D along the bottom) and the top half is tetris.... when i start the game i get asked if i want sound enabled but cant see the yes or no options beacuse of the interface blocking bottom half of phone (no matter what, all i can do is continue with the sound on which is annoying!) then i get a option to play game, i press random buttons and then the game starts.... i cant move the blocks left or right and i cant see where they are landing. Can you remove the cursor interface on the vivaz? Dont want to buy anymore games unless i get this same problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using this w595 phone for less than a year, and it started having problems. At first, i used my cable to send lots of songs to my phone. It didn't work, and my 2GB memory card spoiled. I had to transfer stuff to my phone by bluetooth. A few weeks later, i used the cable to transfer my photos to my computer. All my music suddenly disappeared. After i restarted the phone a few times, my music came back. The latest problem that i could not put up with was that all my games including the default games, disappeared after i transferred photos from my phone with the cable(again). I did not eject it properly. I tried restarting my phone several times, but it still didn't work, can anybody help me?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just started using a W980i, phone works fine, it is on the O2 network, when I am in a 2g signal area i can connect to the internet, use google maps etc, but, when i am in a 3G HSDPA area, identified by the 'H' symbol on screen the phone will not connect to internet, i keep getting a 'connection error' come up, I put the same sim card into a Motorola and it worked fine, so it has to be a setting on the Sony phone, (i have also recieved all current software updates, and the connection settings from o2 & sony, direct to the phone)

Accept from today I have tried to send texts but then find that they are waiting in the outbox saying it will try to resend the message again in a few minutes. I have tried to send a text to other contacts to see if it was a problem with the other person but this still happens. The message wont actually send. I sometimes receive a text saying that "You have a message waiting but your inbox is full" and it says that I should delete my inbox to create space. So i now have an empty inbox and still receive this text... Lastly I have tried to update my phone but this still hasn't fixed this problem! Is there anyway of fixing this?

It used to work fine, but now my computer gives me a "Device has malfunctioned. Please reconnect or replace the device".I have all the proper drivers installed for it but it still doesn't make a difference. I also tried using 3 other cables, and 4 different computers, but it still doesn't work. I think it's a problem with the fast port, and i tried cleaning it with ispropyl alcohol and cotton but it still doesn't work. I even tried using a needle to get some of the residue off the fast port and it still doesn't work.

Have placed music in root directory or card and in music directory. If you try to play filed song again redisplays failed. However you can forward to next song and it will play. I have deleted files but the error is still coming up. This seemed to occur after storing a large amount of data on my 8GB M2 card. I have tasken the card out but the phone still has error. Tried updating software but it says it is the latest. Also done a Reset settings from Master reset - error still occurs. Everytime I switch on phone the free memory is sometime 10MB. 6.1MB or 4.9MB.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to control few SE mobile models such as W595, W705 and more in remote via serial module (Hyper Terminal and others). After a period of time where things went smoothly I ran into 2 major problems:
1. Only the first device is installed correctly on the pictures. All other devices identified as "Other devices” and it takes a lot of time (more than 10 minute) till the second device driver are installed.
2. When I run an automation test which communicate with the SE device via serial (using the comport identified in the device manager as management) suddenly the device stops response to the serial commands from any serial tool (my application, Hyper Terminal, etc). What I see is that the device remain identified in the device manager but doesn't response. When I close the serial session and reopen it I get the response of the previous command.
I have W715 unlocked from Vodafone. Using it in US with AT&T. Trying to use video call function, but keep saying "Video Call Failed".Do I have to change any setting in oder to use video call?
