View 4 Replies View RelatedLike so many people here, i have also forgotten my phone Lock Code. So today i have decided to reset it anyhow and while playing with my phone K850i - A2 phone, db3150, BINGO, i found the way. May be this should work with all platform phones. But still this has to be confirmed by the owner of different platform phones. The solution is- look in your FS in this folder. tpa/preset/default now delete this file- 'security_domain_settings'. That's it. Your Phone Lock Code is reset to 0000.Before deleting you might want to back up that file. Though it is not required. Tested by me.Pls confirm this method by different platform phone users. edit: Just found that by deleting this file, it is not recreated. so there might be some functions which will not be able to use if you delete it. But by activating it, it serves the purpose. asking for passward and all. if you give wrong passward, it will not let you access. Do it at your risk. this means if you forget the passward again, you will not able to retrive it. edit 2 : By flashing the phone this file is recreated and you will have the same passward as you have set after deleting that file. In my opnion, just flash your phone after you use the above mentioned method.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a sony Ericsson T303, and I don't know the unlock code for the handset. I spoke to SE on the phone and flashed the phone using their update software. They said if this doesn't reset it, I have to send it off to them which will cost me £25. I followed a number of instructions on internet to reset that code using XS++ software. But I don't think my phone is compatible with that, because after it tells me "port opened" it tells me "did not receive 0x5a, continuing.." and then basically everything ends there. Can anyone pleaaaaaaaase save me sending my phone off and spending that money, by telling me a simple way I can get round my handset code? I'm sure that can't be the only solution.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I did a hard reset and I knew that I'll lose the Ovi Store. What it's completely new for me is that now each time I'm starting the phone I am requested to input the lock code. I have given 12345 but a message saying "Code fail" is shown and afterwards the phone works normally.1. Does anybody know why12345 is not working anymore?2. Does anybody know how could I remove this request at startup?3. Does anybody know why the phone does react if I am inputting an incorrect code only with a message "Code fail" - I would have expected a lock after multiple inputs but everything is OK.4. Does anybody know how can I change this code? - without flashing it at Nokia Service Center (just too far from me). I'm curious if 10000 tries would bring something alhough I am not interested in such a test

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Sony Ericsson W595, on Vodafone can not read my memory card. It was working properly until last night when I clicked on Media & Photos, and I was told I had no pictures. I went to file manager and onto the memory card files and it said 'no files'. Does anybody know how to fix this or what is wrong with it? My phone memory is still normal and everything else functions properly, except for my memory card. I updated it and I even checked if its placed in properly but nothing seems to help. My memory card is a San Disk M2 with 2GB Memory storage.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 2 weeks ago I purchased a new Spiro mobile phone. Apart from the occasional problem of the screen going black and restarting I didn't have any problems in particular. That is until this Saturday. I was having a discussion with a friend via sms. Everything was working fine until the phone stopped sending sms. It also hasn't been able to since then. I can normally write the message, and when I press Continue I normally go to the sending screen. However, when I press Send I return to the Messages screen and the message I just composed is nowhere to be found. Neither in Drafts nor in Sent. And of course it isn't sent to the receiver. As you can understand I am by no means able to send an sms message to anyone because of this. Along with this problem, since this Saturday any sms that I receive appear as blank when I open them in Inbox. As a result I can't read messages either (apart from the first words shown in the Inbox screen under the name) And that's it, I can neither send nor read sms messages with my Spiro. That makes my phone pretty much useless when it comes to messaging. I would very much appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this problem. I would also appreciate any information regarding the cause of this problem.I do not believe my network provider is responsible as my old phone (W810i) can normally send and receive sms messages.
