So, I did a little cam comparison between the K850 and the C901. Wanted to include the Vivaz, but unfortunately I didn't have the phone with me. Anyway, here are the pictures.

I was testing and comparing modded and original cam driver when find this bug (or i think its a bug.)I sett focus to infinity, then change the scene to document.
the scene is change focus to macro, but it didn't work!the focus is still infinite.although macro mode is displayed on screen.i try other scene (portrait, night portrait) its change the focus to auto. but focus is still infinite!found this on original driver.I'm trying to fixed it by looking at the code, but i dont know what line to add.
I've been using the Satio for the last months and I've been happy with it. It has an overall good build quality, nice UI and and impressive camera, even though the lack of sharpness and those boring smooth edges. However, I was flirting for some time the Nokia E72 and I decided to give it a try. I enjoy its build quality, size and qwerty. The only drawback in the swap would be the camera, or so I thought (the xenon flash is, obviously).
Before I sell the Satio, I had to do a photo comparison! And well, this comparison seems to be pointless and I'm sure everyone thinks that the Satio will perform much better. So did I until I came home, gathered the pics and started comparing them. Before the comparison please note that:
- The first is from Satio
- Full auto in all photos
- Satio photos: 12MP
- E72 photos: 5MP
- Flash: Off
- Image stablizer: Off
- All photos were taken with my hands as still as I could. Different shutter speeds in the same light conditions may cause blurriness and I'll also consider that since it may be important for the photo quality.
- Nokia E72 does not have lens protector and I just cleaned its' lenses a couple times during this. Its photos may suffer the consequences of some dust or grease in the optics.
- Satio is updated to the latest generic firmware
- E72 was not updated yet and is branded to T-Mobile.
What do you think? Is there a 7mp size difference here? Curiously, in some cases, the E72 photos became with a bigger size than the Satio's. You can check all the comparison photos I took here. In these photos, the "s" means that they are from Satio and the "e" that they are from the E72. In the underscored photos "e0001_1" I've increased the sharpness level to "hard".
Can someone change this cam driver to *Normal Flash NO FORCED! and RER Flash FORCED? *If its posible to add Focus manual just only for the video record whould be nice!

I was thinking if it possible to make 2 sim card work on the k850? I remember in the past there was a small connection cable between the 2 sim card or something like that on nokia phones.can it be on k850? And if yes.dos it need a application or spicale softwear for that?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am having trouble changing the camera driver of my sony ericsson K850. I am trying to get WitchKing's CyberShot Xperience 8.3. I am using a2 uploader and whenever i place the camdriver0.dat into the ifs/settings/camera folder, i close down a2uploader by clicking shutdown, then when i turn my phone on after reinserting the battery i can tell the actual camera image is different, but the menu is still the same. I cant go to manual focus or any of the features that cybershot xperience offers. I have also tried replacing the en.lng file into the correct folder (forgot which one it was, but I know it was exactly the folder the tuto told me to go into). Can anyone please help me? I really want the manual focus.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just purchased Sony Ericsson C901. This is my fourth SE phone and modding is always my thing. From removing the operator logo to changing the fonts. Just the usual interface revisions. I've never tried using patches. But I've been dying to know this: Is the camdriver for C901 Nordic Region different from that of APAC ANZ? Say in firmware version R1GA028.
Like, if I use the camdriver from Nordic version and put it in APAC ANZ firmware, it doesn't produce the same result as the original one. Or, are all C901 camdrivers the same no matter what part of the world the phone is being sold? I've updated mine from R1GA028 APAC ANZ to R1GA031 Nordic. And somehow I got the Greenheart version. And IMO, the pictures looked bad after the update.
My C901 keeps rebooting. It just gets to the main screen and then shuts down. So I cant get to the master reset menu quick enough. I've tried using re-flashing it it says I have the latest software. How do I 'force' a re-flash? I think my problems started when I loaded up Google Maps.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have followed these steps: Generated CDA. Nordic language! Then followed these steps! Upload "customize_upgrade.xml" to your phone and make the CDA change. So you have generated the file and you want to get on with it? Well I'll make this as short as possible.
1. Open A2uploader.
2. Click "FileSystem Tool". Re-insert the battery of your phone then connect your USB holding '2+5' keys. Release keys '2+5' when A2uploader detects your phone.
3. Browse to "/tpa/preset/custom/". Drag and drop the "customize_upgrade.xml" file to the right pane of A2uploader.
4. Click "Shutdown FS Manager".
5. Disconnect USB cable and turn on phone. You will notice a "Please Wait" prompt. This is when the CDA is changing. When the prompt is gone, turn off your phone.
But SEUS cannot find any new firmware still? What revision should the the Customize upgrade be?
