I´m looking for a acoustic mod that look like W995 instead of the poor one delivered by the phone from the latest update. It look and sounds like this: http://pic.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/se-c901/gsmarena_a001.png I want something like this:

I'am searching for a acoustic driver for my c905, i've seen that many of you are using Ultra Clear V2 but this is only a headphone driver (corect me if i'm wrong ), the Franc-Marc driver is also an option but there were complains that in some cases is to loud and can damage internal speaker at high volume, my third option is a mix from those two Franc_marc_Ultra Clear. I want a driver that doesnt distorsionate at high volume, and "tinny" increase volume from thr internal speaker. Please tell me what should i chose from those three drivers, or if you have another driver that is better.

I downloaded A2 Uploader, clicked on "System file tool", connected the phone, went to ifs/settings/acoustic, dragged and dropped 76 files in the folder. I switched the phone back on, no difference at all. I used Rodriguez HD V.4. Did I do something wrong? I was expecting a dramatic change to the sound volume but nothing noticeable changed.

I've just purchased Sony Ericsson C901. This is my fourth SE phone and modding is always my thing. From removing the operator logo to changing the fonts. Just the usual interface revisions. I've never tried using patches. But I've been dying to know this: Is the camdriver for C901 Nordic Region different from that of APAC ANZ? Say in firmware version R1GA028.
Like, if I use the camdriver from Nordic version and put it in APAC ANZ firmware, it doesn't produce the same result as the original one. Or, are all C901 camdrivers the same no matter what part of the world the phone is being sold? I've updated mine from R1GA028 APAC ANZ to R1GA031 Nordic. And somehow I got the Greenheart version. And IMO, the pictures looked bad after the update.

My C901 keeps rebooting. It just gets to the main screen and then shuts down. So I cant get to the master reset menu quick enough. I've tried using re-flashing it it says I have the latest software. How do I 'force' a re-flash? I think my problems started when I loaded up Google Maps.

I need to use internet on my c901 via computer. ANyone have idea how can i connect to internet via my computer's internet connection. I use Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6.0 for this purpose. PC Suite shows me that internet is connected on my cell but it's not actually connected.

My C901 camera doesn't work anymore. When I open the cam cover it just shows cyber-shot logo and goes back to the menu. can some body help me? This happened after I placed in a flash menu file. Placing the flash menu file was a success but when I used the camera it didn't work now. I just bought this. I tried removing the flash menu file, turned the phone on and off, made the latest update, and master reset.

I've been the more or less happy owner of a SE C901 since Christmas now. But one thing that really annoys (and surprises me) is, that my dictionary doesn't seem to keep more than ~50 custom spelled words in the sms dictionary. Is there any way I can dedicate more of the memory card or the phones memory to this application?

Has anyone noticed their c901 when brightness adjusted to low, the screen blinks first 100% brighter when pressed/used from idle mode and then very slowly dimming to the adjusted low brightness setting? is this normal?

I have followed these steps: Generated CDA. Nordic language! Then followed these steps! Upload "customize_upgrade.xml" to your phone and make the CDA change. So you have generated the file and you want to get on with it? Well I'll make this as short as possible.
1. Open A2uploader.
2. Click "FileSystem Tool". Re-insert the battery of your phone then connect your USB holding '2+5' keys. Release keys '2+5' when A2uploader detects your phone.
3. Browse to "/tpa/preset/custom/". Drag and drop the "customize_upgrade.xml" file to the right pane of A2uploader.
4. Click "Shutdown FS Manager".
5. Disconnect USB cable and turn on phone. You will notice a "Please Wait" prompt. This is when the CDA is changing. When the prompt is gone, turn off your phone.
But SEUS cannot find any new firmware still? What revision should the the Customize upgrade be?

Hello guys, i am using C901 with light sensor turned off patch:

But the problem is that the keypad backlight is VERY dim (almost off) all the time with it. I tried to modify it a bit and used the value 0008. i want to ask C901 users to give their opinions about the phone. I have heard it has camera lens issue i.e camera lens or camera lens cover is very loose and moves a lot. Second thing i heard is that its color peels off very quickly. Can someone please confirm these issues? Also mention the color you are using i.e Silver or Black.

I have an IPhone but its camera doesn't meet my expectations, especially the nonexisting flash. So I've decided to have a phone with a real flash to take pictures. I find these two phones as the best options for me. I can understand that c901 would be better in this area because of being latest released camera phone by SE. C901 costs twice as much. Does the difference in price reflect the image quality? I mean, does the camera on c901 produce way better pictures than the one in k850i?

I have tried reading through the forums, and have found that i will need new camera driver and a music driver, for better experience, than i have now. I bought mainly the phone because of the "Threaded SMS" and the Xenon flash. So far i have tested the phone indoor, with the flash, and i'm not really that impressed with the pictures My old C902, is almost as good. So i guess a new camera driver will help? For now i have the "Ac cu weather" standard weather app on my C901. But it's not good enough. I'm used to the great weather app on my old android phone. Where i could see the weather forecast for 5 da (Graphical, not text based, like there eis on the C901 for now). There must be a better app for the C901, to show weather forecast.
