is it possible to change a certificate by transfer of files ? eg: if i have a k850 and have changed its certificate to brown is it possible that copying some certain files to another k850 will also make its certificate brown?
View 2 Repliesi am having trouble changing the camera driver of my sony ericsson K850. I am trying to get WitchKing's CyberShot Xperience 8.3. I am using a2 uploader and whenever i place the camdriver0.dat into the ifs/settings/camera folder, i close down a2uploader by clicking shutdown, then when i turn my phone on after reinserting the battery i can tell the actual camera image is different, but the menu is still the same. I cant go to manual focus or any of the features that cybershot xperience offers. I have also tried replacing the en.lng file into the correct folder (forgot which one it was, but I know it was exactly the folder the tuto told me to go into). Can anyone please help me? I really want the manual focus.

the scene is change focus to macro, but it didn't work!the focus is still infinite.although macro mode is displayed on screen.i try other scene (portrait, night portrait) its change the focus to auto. but focus is still infinite!found this on original driver.I'm trying to fixed it by looking at the code, but i dont know what line to add.
Can someone change this cam driver to *Normal Flash NO FORCED! and RER Flash FORCED? *If its posible to add Focus manual just only for the video record whould be nice!

I was thinking if it possible to make 2 sim card work on the k850? I remember in the past there was a small connection cable between the 2 sim card or something like that on nokia phones.can it be on k850? And if yes.dos it need a application or spicale softwear for that?

First time I had install some "sys" files and "jar" files, but now can't install sys files, now installing jar files and java files only, getting tow type error messages, if the mobile date is correct "certificate expired". When I am changing time to back certificate may not yet be valid, is expired or the phone date set may be incorrect". I am already done formating phone, memory card and updating.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a couple of apps from Sony Ericsson's web site including a game that I used to play on my Sony Ericsson Z520a phone previoulsy, called "Quadrapop." It's a free Java application, and there was a version specific to the Satio, which is also an S60 5 edition phone, just like the 5800 which I am trying to install on.
When I try installing it, I get a message, "Certificate error" followed by something to the effect of, "contact supplier" I have been able to install some other Satio Java apps on my 5800, but not Quadrapop. Is there anything I can do do get around this issue?
I have Aino black with me. I don't know how to change the shortcuts which are pre defined like facebook and media. I want to change these options. But I am unable to find them. I switched the phone back on, no difference at all. I used Rodriguez HD V.4. Did I do something wrong? I was expecting a dramatic change to the sound volume but nothing noticeable changed.

I have bought Vivaz one week ago and it was such a good cell phone to have with marvelous features compared to its price and size. My pain is the OS which is Symbian S60 5th Edition which I hate more than the darkest hour. I wish if Sony Ericsson could change the OS from Symbian S60 to Android what is the possibility to such so? is it need some hardware to be change? I feel pity for my Vivaz as it works using Symbian while my brother has Xperia X10 Minipro works with Android 1.6.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know. Please any suggestions this phone has been reliable upto this piont
