I have an iPhone 4S (iOS 7.1.2) , and am using iTunes 11.3.1(2). Yesterday, I synced my iPhone. All of the songs I purchased from iTunes show up once, and all of the songs that I have not purchased show up twice - BUT ONLY on the iPhone (there are no duplicates in iTunes). This includes audiobooks as well!Â
I have never used iCloud to store my music.I have noticed a lot of people complaining about purchased songs showing up twice (which is opposite to my case). i tried deleting all of the songs, and re-syncing - this also did not work. I use the "Entire Music Library" option under "Sync Music", and then have all of the songs/artists/etc checked off under "Music" that I want to sync.Â
Why do only a small number of songs in my iTunes playlist appear on the playlist on my iPhone after I sync? For example, in iTunes my playlist has 50 songs, but on my iPhone the playlist has 17 songs.
I just got my new iPhone 6 today, I of course I was eager to transfer my music onto the phone.
But when I synced the music some (a lot actually) at first some songs did not show up in the full song list (the list with all the songs on my iphone), but I could find the songs inside the artists menus, then the phone made some flashes and the songs were suddenly showing on the list, but then I saw that all the songs with the letter 'i' was now not showing on the list this time!
I shuffle my songs a lot when I'm on the go and the songs missing from the list are not showing up either when shuffling the song list.
When I finish importing a cd it shows up in my library under a few different albums instead of all the songs on one album. How can I fix this from happening?
I have about 6 or 7 songs that I want to permanently delete from my iTunes library and iPhone. They keep showing up even after I've unchecked/deleted them. I've used the manual option and selected the artists, genres, etc. that I still want, but the deleted songs keep appearing. I bought these songs off of the iTunes store I didn't use my iPhone. I don't have the iTunes Match option turned on my phone, nor do I use iCloud. I don't know what else to do besides manually selecting all of my songs and putting them into a folder, deleting the blasphemous songs that I don't want anymore, deleting my iTunes library and resetting my iPhone and copying the songs from the folder back into my iTunes library.
I purchased BB torch last week. When I store songs on card via USB, in computer it shows that songs r on card or device, but in the cell phone i just cannot view them? Also, the pictures i click from blackberry does not appear in cell or i cannot simply view them. But when I connect to laptop I can view them in the camera folder.
Also when i browse the cell like followsmedia>options>explorei canot view any folder in cell.
I wanted to listen to music one day.I went to all songs on the Music Player, and I scrolled down past 'S' and no song were showing up. Then the phone took me to the top of the list and exited the Music Player.

All songs not show in my x2-01's music player. It shows half songs. They are in memory card. I did everything restore factory settings, went to nokia care, they re-installed it's software but no use.
I deleted songs in my iphone on the music app but when I sync with the computer the songs disappear. How can I delete songs on my phone but keep them in iTunes?
i can't always delete music from my iphone by swiping right to left - only 50% of the time this works. the other half of the time, the music will start to play Is there a way to plug in my phone to my laptop and dump unwanted songs all at once?
Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.
When I try to add songs onto my iphone 3 it show on my iphone library but in gray and it doesnt show up on my iphone and i cant delete it off of the iphone
Today, I was trying to play some music with my iPhone 4 but all the songs are missing. I hadn't done anything to my iPhone before and connected to the iTunes.
do you recall how on the older ipod classics/nano, etc, you could i think it was double-click the center button to add whatever you were currently listening to to the on the go playlist?
is there no way to quickly add what's now playing to on the go on the iphone? searching for the song you're currently playing just to add it seems ... like much more work than it should take.
I just brought my new iPhone 4 home, and started syncing it. To my chagrin, I realized that I have more music than the 16GB can fit. So, I unchecked all of the tracks that I don't really listen to. Unfortunately, I can't figure out where to tell the phone to only sync the tracks that are selected. I remember this used to be pretty easy.
I have a device that plays my iphone music in the car. One end plugs into the phone, the other plugs into the cigarette lighter. On this device is a tuner where i can select a radio station, i also set my car radio to that station & viola! My music plays through my car speakers. On the way to work, i plug my phone in, open my music & hit play. The first song plays, then repeats. I deselect repeat & am able to enjoy other songs. I get to work, unplug it, do my shift, then get back in my car, plug the phone in, press play... & somehow its on repeat again. Does anyone know how to get rid of the ghost that keeps turning on the repeat button?
I am away from home. My son has sent me 5 mp3 files via email. I cannot get them saved to my iPad nor iPhone, but i saved them onto my daughter's windows pc. Now i can't transfer them to my iPhone. All i want is to get 5 mp3files on my iPhone.
I just updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 5.1. I use iTunes match so my music will sync across my devices. I was playing a playlist on it in my car yesterday via my Griffin iTrip and it was working fine. But then when I disconnected the phone to go to work that playlist won't work now. I've tried deleting the playlist and then recreating it under a different name and NOW some of the songs that were on both playlists won't play. It acts like it's playing, but no sound is coming out. It also is randomly skipping some of the songs.
After the update to 5.1 my songs from my music library disappears. They're still on the phone but it won't find them.
I also noticed that the battery time has gotten worse and after the update the camera won't work at all when i press the icon in locked screen, the screen "jumps" a little bit but it won't start it.
I recently had to reimport my music library into my iTunes system. The music is a combination of iTunes purchases and music from my cds. I thought after importing a new catalog of music, my iPhone would initially wipe itself clean and then establish itself against the new library contents. All kinds of problems, playlists appear in my browser but not on the phone, and other things.
I have tried on the phone with support a number of changes to the settings for sync and none remove all the music content on the iphone so I can start from scratch.
How do I delete all the music content on the phone?
a few songs won't sync to my iPhone, I can play them in iTunes, and if i go to select artists to sync it recognises them, but if i sync whole library they just don't go on. How do I fix it?
Whenever I sync my iPhone to iTunes, it keeps copying over the same 104 songs to my iPhone. Day after day, it copies the same 104 songs again, as if they were missing or deleted. These songs are there and can be played from the phone. This is a 64 gig iPhone 4 and a unibody MBP 15" purchased in mid 2011. My iTunes Library is about 20 gigs and the settings are set to sync my entire music library.
I have an iPhone 4S. The software on the iPhone is up-to-date (iOS 5.1). My iTunes software (PC) also is up-to-date (10.6.1).I connect the iPhone to the computer. When the iPhone appears in iTunes I choose the option to sync "selected playlists, artists, albums, genres " in the Sync music area.I choose a single playlist. I sync. I then see the playlist under the iPhone (in iTunes). The songs are listed. However, 90% of the songs are grayed out. Only a few songs appear as normal entries. Still in iTunes (but under my iPhone), if I double click on any of those gray entries nothing happens.
Now to the iPhone itself: if I look at the same playlis on the iPhone (iPhone no longer connected to iTunes) I can see all of the songs listed. However, the only songs that will play are the songs that were not grayed out in the list in iTunes
