do you recall how on the older ipod classics/nano, etc, you could i think it was double-click the center button to add whatever you were currently listening to to the on the go playlist?
is there no way to quickly add what's now playing to on the go on the iphone? searching for the song you're currently playing just to add it seems ... like much more work than it should take.

I just want to add some songs which location I know. searchin for one bl**dy song between 2000 other tittles is just ridiculous. Options provided by SE vivaz pro symbian software are just useless. Its easier to remember name of folder containing 100 songs than to learn by heart 100 tittles with artists names. I got used to listening to one huge set of e.g. house shared on 10 parts but in some way vivaz pro player spreadet them on the begining , midlle and end of ALL bout 2500 songs list. Is it possible to create some software update fixing this ridiculous mistake? maby there already is sth like that?

Whenever I try to sync my playlists onto my MotoACTV from Itunes only half of the songs make it. I received a message stating that "662 files are protected" so they did copy over. How do I unprotect those songs? I have looked in Itunes and cannot find out how.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI created two ringtones, not having an issue with that... found a FREE app on the iPhone to download and create a ringtone. I'd created two (2) tones, I want one to be for my wife's number when she calls, and the other to be ID as default when anyone calls, but I can't choose both of the ring tones I created and sync to the iPhone, it only appears as the recent ring tone I sync to the phone.
My specs: 3GS 16GB (NEW since this past Friday 29th of Jan), using Windows Vista and the recent iTunes software for the PC.
Maybe it isn't done?!I when inside "contacts" tried it in there, and to no avail it isn't showing but the recent sync tone I have. I guess the phone had deleted the first and kept the most recent? Can this phone have multiple tones for different (#'s) you have stored on your phone

I am wondering how that will work with imessage if we want to send imessages to each other? We also may want to use the same apps but not want to both pay for them. What is the best way to do this? Also should we have to game center accounts? Sorry I have so many questions. We both have ipads too I just wnat to get it all straightened out. I used the iTunes method and created a m4r file. It shows up under Ringtones in the Library. I just can't get it onto my iPhone even after syncing. Can someone please help me?
Note: I used the exact same method and managed to add a ringtone to my phone a few days ago. But somehow it magically disappeared and now I can't add any ringtones.

Have an iPhone 4 wich is synced to an iMac, sync includes, iCal, contacts, notes, music, photo's, movies, music, etc... The works.Problem is, I am currently travelling with my Macbook Air, with no library or syncs, and need to add an additonal Movie onto my iPhone, I realise if I connect it to my macbook, and check *Manually manage.. It will wipe the photos, music, movies etc, I am obivously avoiding this at all costs.My iCloud only holds my iCal, and contact info, so that is not an option either. I just got a new iPhone 4S about five days ago. It's great and I love it, but...for some reason, the phone app crashes when I try to add a contact to favorites. It just quits every time.Â

I've transferred my apps/games/etc to iTunes already. Every now and then I get bored of a game on my iPod/iPhone and I delete it. I can delete it because I also know I can download it again, since I have all my previous purchases saved on my Computer (in iTunes). Can I sync individual apps/games to my iPhone and leave what I had on there without it being deleted? I know I can manually choose a game/app and transfer it via iTunes, but is it possible to do this without having to re-arrange and start "fresh"?
The only other way is to re-download the app/game directly on my iPhone. I have over 200 apps on my iPhone, thats why it bugs me (having to re-arrange and organise all my stuff). If I come to transfer an individual app/game, iTunes resets my phone to default and I have to manually setup everything. All I want to do is ADD one app, without affecting the current structure/layout/apps that are already installed on my iPhone. Is this not possible???
