View 1 RepliesSo I had to buy a USB cable since you don't get one in the package. I connect my PC with the phone but nothing happens. So I googled a bit and saw that you need Samsung PC Studio and I downloaded, install but when I try to connect again nothing happens. It just won't connect. So does anyone know what else I should do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSamsung is always coming back for more. This time, we got Samsung Corby in hand. The entry level touchscreen phone which is tech-savvy and fresh. Undeniably, the colorful and lovely Corby is for youngsters that are keen on technology and those active social networkers. The interchangeable Fashion Jackets are tailor-made for those who like to personalize and customize. Read on to know more. What’s inside? The Corby, a battery, a charger, a stylus, a data cable, a handsfree set, two extra rear panels and a user’s guide.
The Corby is incredibly compact which measures 103 x 56.5 x 12 mm. The all plastic construction certainly helps it keep its weight at 90 grams. The 2.8" touchscreen is very responsive, which requires only a touch rather than a push to register a click. On the left side of the phone, it hosts the lanyard eyelet, followed by the volume rocker in the middle and the proprietary connectivity port beneath for plugging in a charger, data cable and headset............
So it shows up on the upper most left of the lock screen and it seems to be blocking my notification icon for new message(hoverchat, if it matters). using s6(also if it matters)

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've lost the 4 digit user selected security lock code which is required to reset the phone.Virgin says Samsung should help recover the code and Samsung says Virgin should help recover the code.A while back, I found a code on the web that allowed me to go into a service menu which listed among other things the lock code. I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.
I set a 4 digit lock pin and now I want to remove it. I don't want to set a new pin just remove the pin that is there, i.e no pin.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have finally found a site to unlock my E71. so u don't have to keep putting in 12345 before you can use your phone ((how annoying )) ... Download Nokia PC Suite first (the updated one) from site below ... Or if you already have it on your computer go to control panel click on add and remove then Nokia PC Suite it will ask you to install or repair click on repair and that will give you the updated version ...the only way you can remove phone lock is to update your Nokia E71s software ..But make sure you BACKUP your phone before hand or you will delete everything ..open Nokia PC Suite then click on update software takes about 15min but well worth it,you can also download the games the phone originally came with ... Solitaire etc from this site
hope it works for you I was about to throw my phone at a wall.
Mine is 8900. Since there is country lock, I cannot use it in other countries, regions. I am in Netherlands and frequently travel other continents. Does anyone know how to remove the country lock?

I lost my iPhone today while playing soccer. I used iCloud to remotely lock the iPhone and since my device is offline right now. As soon as I put on the lock, I realized that if the person who found my iPhone finds it locked, would they be able to connect to the internet? If they can't, could I remove the remote lock so it can connect to wifi manually and let iCloud track it? Also, my phone is under the AT&T carrier in the USA, and I am currently in China and will be staying there for a few months. I have no cellphone service so iCloud will only be able to track my iPhone via wifi.
Summarize this in bullet points for those who prefer a short explaination:
-Lost iPhone
-Remotely locked it
-Want to remove the remote lock but I do not have possession of the iPhone
-Can an iPhone connect to wifi even with remote lock on?
-No service (American carrier, in China, no international plan)
-Only able to track the iPhone via wifi

The lock screen just popped up on my early model blackberry curve. It has a new battery and was just tweaked by The IT person at work for my email accounts. When I left his office there was no lock screen in place. Over The weekend my battery ran out, I recharged it and now there is a lock screen. How do I turn that off so I can use my phone

Things like the T-Mobile welcome animation when you switch it on and their horrible pink theme. (I can change the theme but I want to be rid of it...) I would also like the web browser to take notice of the home page I've set - at the moment it goes to T-Mobile's web offering no matter what I set it to.

If someone buy an iphone via Ebay (or other online trade site), and its locked to a foreign provider, is it possible to ask Apple to remove the sim lock directly? I know Apple in contract with providers, but an example:I get an iPhone from US (as an european person). It locked for one of US providers. I can activate it (if I have original provider's SIM or on CDMA network), but nothing else. So I get an iPod (in good case). To use this device, I must go to US, stay there for many months, make a contract with the provider, and after many waiting, they may unlock it for other fees (or not). As anyone can see, this is not a working way.So if the phone is clear (were on good standing on original provider, not reported as stolen device etc.) is it possible to request unlock directly from Apple (for fee)I know there's unofficial methods to unlock the iPhone,

View 12 Replies View RelatedMessage "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device."I have got a Samsung S6 SM-G920P Sprint with FRP Lock. The method is very simple - using OTG connecting a flash drive with downloaded app to a phone and then file manager will pop up, then just run app. The app basically just letting you get to phone settings where it will let to reset the phone and remove FRP Lock
Problem is that file manager wont automatically launch when i plug it in and so as far I understand the method doesn't work for most or all owners of Galaxy S6 and Note 5. I wonder if the file manager wont pop up after latest update or it was that way originaly? If it happened after update is there any way to flash earlier version? I tried ODIN to flash stock ROM but it fails and I am getting message SW REW. CHECK FAIL DEVICE: 3 BINARY: 2
I did restore to factory few times, last time - using Smart Switch. The phone has official Rom, not rooted..Or is there any other way to bypass activation to get to settings, other way remove FRP Lock?
