can nayone tell me how to remove the lock code feature on the E71? It's a real pain having to enter the lock code each time you want to use the phone. I have reduced the code to 4 figures but it's still a pain. I'd appreciate any help!

im using nokia n79, after i restore the factory setting the phone didnt accept the lock code, before i restore the phone i was using the default lock code with out any problems!

Soon I made the update to v 31.0.101 (31.01.101.202.05).
The problem is that i cannot use now the lock code. I try 12345, because I did not change it never before. But the phone doesn't accept any lock code, it always say failure!
So, I cannot change or use the lock code of the phone.
[I did not try to use the lock code before the update, so I don't know if the problem was before too.]
[One strange thing: If I try another numbers differents of 12345, the fifth time the phone says wait 5 minutes; but if I try 12345, I can try it lots of times, never say wait 5 minutes]
[I suposse 12345 goes on being the right code, but the phone accept NO code]
I've forgotten the lock code on my 5800, is there anyway I can get it back or change the code?I would appreciate the help from you, thanks

When I updated to v50 it doesn't ask for the Lock Code now. Any one know how I can set this to happen?
I turned on Auto Lock for the 5530. It prompted me for my lock code so i used the default factory lock code 12345. That worked, but then it told me that "Lock Code Expired". Then a New Lock Code screen comes up. I entered a new code, lets say 123456. Confirmed the code. Then I get an error message saying "Must contain both letters and numbers". But the 5530 only allows me to enter numbers and symbol characters. There are no letters to enter. So I am totally locked out of my phone.
I tried a hard reset RED + GREEN + Photo buttons but that did not work.

I store my contact mobile phone #s in international format (ie +61 4xx xxxxxx) so they are accessable from overseas when I travel without having to edit. Outlook 2003 seems to put a space character by default after the country code, so these appear as +61 4xxxxxxxx in Outlook.When I sync my Nokia 6120 to Outlook this space then gets transferred across to the phone as the # for the contact.When I receive anything from the contact (phone call, SMS etc), the number I have saved for them does not exactly match the number that comes through (either because of the extra space, or because it will come through in Australian format ie 04xx xxxxxx) and the contact does not get recognised by the phone, and simply appears as the #, not the contact name.If I send an SMS first & this is replied to, it comes back correctly identified, but new messages etc from contacts are not identified.
Is there any way to remove the space that Outlook seems to put after the country code by default? And is there any way for the phone to recognise +61 4xxxxxxxx and +614xxxxxxxx and 04xxxxxxxx all as the same number for the same contact?
I have tried to format or reset my Nokia N81 for some time now. I have tried the 3 button stuff and all the other stuff posted online but couldn't work because I still need to get pass the lock code, which I have forgotten.

This evening, after a reboot (no new software installed), it won't allow me to enter my 5 digit lock code. The keys are unresponsive. I've tried removing the battery etc..., but it's still the same. I want to avoid a hard reset if possible, as there is some info that is not backed up.

On my 6760 slide, i tried to type my lock code which i was sure i knew but it didnt work. my lock code had an exclaimation mark in it but when i try to type the exclaimation mark, it doesn't register on the code screen. the button does work though as i tested it in the notes application.
