I'm trying to send a video. I noticed in the settings that the max size for a video is only 495K. Is there a way around this? Or is the phone only capable of the small size? It should be able to send about a 30 second video, but mine is 16 seconds and still too large.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Saga i770 that I was getting ready to eBay and decided to put the latest ROM on it before I sold it. I flashed it from my Windows 7 machine and everything said it went fine and the flash was successful, but after it rebooted, it just sits at the Samsung logo and never goes any further. I've tried it with and without the USB connection and also on the AC adapter, but nothing. It doesn't appear to be charging at this stage either. I'm guessing that the flash was bad. I have an XP computer that I could flash from and would like to try again, but it isn't being recognized by the computer at this stage. Is there a way to get this into a bootloader mode so the flash can be completed again?I may end up selling it as a non-functioning unit now.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung saga i770. I bricked the phone. Sent it to samsung, they reflashed it to the new rom. (long story) Get the phone back , marked as unable to be repaired. Turned phone on and it started up. All looked normal but the phone will not produce an audible ring. It will vibrate when called but not ring. I check the obvious settings. If I use a wired head set I can hear the phone ring.

Whenever I try to access my AOL email I get this error message- "Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your email account settings are correct. Then, try to download messages again."I have not changed anything and the phone is connected to my home wireless network. I tried deleting the account and reinstalling but I still get that error.I don't understand why it was working and just stopped. It is especially confusing because of the gmail account working.

If it's on long enough to try to make a call, It will shut down when I try to place a call. I have tried a soft reset but just added a bunch of contacts and trying to avoid a hard reset. I had a different Saga and the same thing happened once but I think the soft reset helped?

My 2 Panasonic Plasmas have DLNA in the Smart TV Menu options and my S3 had DLNA as well. The S6 does not as far as I can tell.
How can I send video shot on S6 right to my TV? I am guessing Chromecast can do this but I do not have the hardware. I do have an Amazon Fire Stick. Not sure if that works? Any other options?

I figured maybe it was just a fluke, so I tried to send another picture, and the same thing happened. I have a new Samsung Alias 2 on the Verizon network and it keeps downsizing the pictures every time that I try to send them to another phone or email them to myself. I've searched the manual, the forum and the God of Google and have found nothing. In a desperate attempt, I put in a MicroSD card and changed the settings to save to the card, but with no luck. Is there some sort of setting that I'm just missing or is this a limitation of the network or phone?

Problem is; I can receive but not send emails and the emails I do get seem to fade away suddenly.I have the social hub whatsit, Gmail and in the accounts section I have 360.com alonside talktalk. Two things here. 1st the video at 30 secs long seems to be too big to send. I have tried recording it in both formats and at the lowest settings..Any thoughts on how to make it smaller? View 3 Replies View RelatedRecording is fine with the stock camera app, BUT none of the other market apps I've tried can record in HD. e.g. 'aLapRecorderHD', 'Daily Roads Voyager', etc. The market Apps seems to record OK @ 720x480 or anything below.All of the apps I've tried produce corrupt HD video with green artefacts all over the screen. They all work OK on my Nexus1 @ both 720p & 1080pCould anyone with a newer firmware?, try one of the above market apps and see if HD video can be recorded?

overall, i was happy with the vu and all the hacks that allowed it to look like a htc, or iphone or pretty much anything.it is not acting up so i need to replace it and the impressions is catching my attention.
is the video quality good...compared to an iphone for example, where does it stand in video quality playback?
