When ICS for SGS2 came out last year I updated and could no longer connect to my Skoda handsfree (ICS didn't support RSAP).I understand 4.04 and above does now support RSAP so I'd like to upgrade.KIES is telling me that the following is available to me: PDA:LPT / PHONE:LQ6 / CSC:LPA (XEU) But I don't know what this means. Is it 4.04 or higher?

The bluetooth handsfree connects and pairs with my samsung s6 however it won't import the contacts, it keeps saying no contacts found but they are all on the device. The car dealer says it's an issue with the samsung security so I went to where I got the phone from and they can't see an issue and say it's an issue with the handsfree!

A couple of days ago the control buttons on the headset stopped working, I can no longer remotely answer calls, or pause and change music tracks. The headset earphones and microphone still work, I can listen to music and use it for phone calls that have been activated from the phone itself.The headset itself has not received any damage, it hasn't been dropped in water or the like.efore I go out and buy a new headset I thought I'd better try and confirm if they were indeed at fault. Is there, for instance, a phone setting to disable the headset controls.
View 7 Replies View Relatedmy phone won't vibrate on notifications or calls anymore and it's killing me. settings > sound > vibration is set to 'always'. i didn't drop the phone or anything, so i don't know what it could be. the vibrating phone icon is visible on the top bar too.i'm using go sms pro and have that set to vibrate always, and even if i run the test notification, it says that vibrate is on, but it doesn't actually vibrate.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen watching any video on my S2 (either downloaded or streaming) the video itself is very small in the centre of the screen. This wasn't always the case with it though. I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.
I'm sure it used to, but my S2 is no longer displaying PDFs or JPEGs that are sent to me in emails (perhaps since the ICS update?)
If it's a PDF, the email is simply blank, if it's a photo all I see it a small blue question mark.
My phone will no longer automatically connect to saved WiFi networks. It knows they're there, because if I go to Settings -> WiFi, it shows up in the list as a "saved" one. Tapping on it and selecting "connect" does nothing. I have to turn off the WiFi and turn it back on, and it will then automatically connect.
Additionally, WiFi will not stay off. If I'm some place I don't want it to connect to WiFi, I turn it off so that I don't get messages that networks are available (specifically when I'm driving, it's really annoying to deal with that over Waze).
I've got a Sprint GS5, running stock (not rooted), on 5.0. No updates available for the phone. It does this on every WiFi network I have saved (home, school, and school apartment, among others). I've also tried turning Smart Switch off and on, it makes no difference for either issue.
Has anyone successfully used a corded handsfree headset with the samsung mythic? I have heard that for both incoming/outgoing conversation, plus stereo music capability, that the micro usb port must be used.
I purchased a stereo/microphone with a 3.5mm connector (the mythic has both a 3.5mm and micro usb port), but using the 3.5mm port, only the stereo function worked. neither voice incoming or outgoing worked. And you can't just go down to the at&t store and pick up a samsung handset, they all seem not to have them.
I just updated and configured my brand new Bold 9900 OS 7.0 Bundle 2406 for my Bluetooth devices and two of them that previously worked have issues. They pair perfectly but both devices are unable to connect a ringing call, disconnect a call in progress or initiate a phone call. If I answer or place a call from the phone, the Bluetooth device engages but the voice is only one direction. I have tried turning Encryption on & off under the device properties and no difference. I have verified the one Motorola device is listed as Compatible with my bold so what's up here?

My husband's I-Phone (AT&T was worked with this car as long as my Droid has. But the HandsFree has no trouble connecting to his IPhone. My Droid also cannot find my husband's Plantronics hands-free earphone. The OS appears to be the latest version as I checked and no updates are available.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and am trying to connect it to my TalkTalk Broadband. I am not technical. My IPAD,Dell,TV, HTC,PC all connect without problems to the Router (DSL 2780) and without me having to make any adjustments. The SGS2 however, refuses to connect to the Router - yes, I have checked the Router passwords etc.. I just get " Authentication Error" message. I was able to connect the SSG2 to a Hot Spot I created on the HTC phone - so, the phone is obviously ok. There must be a problem with the settings on the Router - however, all other devices connect without a problem.
