View 1 RepliesNoticed jerky, jumpy scrolling in some apps on their iPhone 6? Tweetbot for example. Scrolling through tweets will cause a few skipped motion frames every few seconds – only slightly so, but noticable and annoying. Same for Guardian or LinkedIn app. But never happens in Safari or some other apps. Â
Seeing as its confined to some apps I'm guessing it's not my phone. Wondering if others have noticed. My previous iPhone 5 never had this issue. Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my S2 a few days back, and am quite impressed with the scrolling background wallpaper. However, I don't understand how to make a wallpaper scrollable. I installed this app called Zedge that lets you download free wallpapers etc. When I choose the image to use as wallpaper, I'm taken to a screen with the following:
- A thumbnail of the image with a resizable orange rectangle.
- 2 icons below that - one with 3 panes that looks like it's meant to select a scrolling wallpaper and the second one showing a single pane.
I choose the one on the left that appears to be for scrolling, then I suppose I have to select the area of the image I want. I want the entire image to be used as a wallpaper, so I select the whole thing. (I've also tried selecting only a sub section). I click save. It generates and sets the wallpaper and...it does not scroll. (I have all 7 home screens enabled).
I go back, choose the icon on the right, select a small area of the image and that gets set as a wallpaper. This also does not scroll. I don't want to go install a 3rd party app just to do this. I have tried with Zedge, as well as locally stored pictures from my Picasa albums. Also, how does one change the 3 default pictures in the 'wallpaper gallery'? I can't find them on the SD card.
Just recently when I access my gmail app on my phone, I have no way of scrolling up or down. It also freezes once I open it and the only way to get off of the screen is hitting the home button which freaks the phone out. I have also seen an error message which I did not take down the exact file launcher problem it was encountering.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought yesterday my galaxy s6. Everything was going fine, the new touchwiz looks really beaultifull, the screen was the best display I ever seen, the fingerprint sensor works great, etc.
Nevertheless, i noticed a stuttering/scrolling lag in almost every app. For example: scrolling up and down on whatsapp chats stutters every time. It is not smooth as my old iphone 5. On instagram, facebook, contacts, playstore, occurs the same problem... they are not heavy apps, I can not really understand why it is happening. It is bothering me and I will come back to apple if this problems persists.
I just got my samsung galaxy S II a few days ago and i'm immediately disappointed by the sound. When using headphones, there seems a small amount of distortion or noise just before each track is played and in between tracks. (Possibly while playing tracks as well). Also, when i stop or pause the music, and then scroll through lists or even just touching the screen at all, there seems to be some kind of audible static noise heard through the headphones. This noise only seems to last for about 5 seconds after i have paused a song, and after that it then seems to be silent again with no noise when i touch the screen.

Within seconds of switching on the problem returns. Whichever menu I try to use it scrolls constantly and is unusable.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLove my RAZR Maxx however something I've noticed (I've had Moto Droid/Droid2 and HTC Incredible) is that when scrolling (like email or web pages) my finger must barely touch the home button (or the back/menu/search buttons) and my scrolling gets interrupted by the button function. It seems much more sensitive than any of my other phones.Anyone else have this issue or am I the only klutz? Maybe there is a setting to change sensitivity but can't find it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my s3 to a s6. But now im struggling to find the menu buttons in-app.. like on my s-planner app.. i want to update my calender on it but i cant find the menu on it. Normally i pressed my left touch button to open it but now it opens a multi-window.
Ive been googling for an answer but i couldnt find a solution for it. Ive read that there should be some sort of a little 3-dot button to access the menu but i only see that in half of my apps.
So I ended up returning my GS2 today to upgrade to the GS2 skyrocket since the phone was announced a couple days after getting mine. Made the trade and got $50 back since it was on sale suh-weet!Anyways first thing i did was turn off auto brightness. Normally on my GS2 i would just adjust it myself via the notification bar. Well I decided to go to settings>display then tried to click on brightness. Brightness is greyed out and unclickable. What is up with this? I can change it via the notication bar or the widget to set brightnesses from it, but cant go through settings display to change it.

Sometimes when I start the unit up in the morning no icons appear on my home screen although when I go into my apps they are all there. I would have to restart the phone a couple of times before everything would appear. Now I seem to have a permanent problem the touch sensitive buttons on the bottom of my phone for getting to the settings and the 'back' button do not light any more, but they do function.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince 5.1.1 I have a stutter in all Google apps and some other ones as well. The device itself is running very smoothly but once in app, Newsstand, Play Store, Google Music etc. the whole app stutters and lags.
It is most noticeable when I am pulling out menu from left, the whole animation just stutters, the same happens after I select anything, like setting. I have Wiped the device and nothing changed, clearing only cache doesn't work either.
I can't access my setting menu, press the left "button" and the settings option is there I press it and the menu pops up for about a second then goes back to the home screen, if I go in through apps menu its the same, its a stock S2 about a month old on T mobile uk.

I installed villaintweaks 1.3.1 as I was told there was a fix fire this. I installed the noise cancellation fix.... But still it remReally would like to get this echo. I don't like having to keep pressing menu-noise reduction off during every call.Also notice that if I remove my protective case the echo disappears completely....but I don't want to leave the phone unprotected.Also, is it possible to fully remove villaintweaks and all of its data(and tweaks that I installed) from the phone? I have disabled keyboard, cleared data and cache then restarted but it doesn't seem to work.
I have wiped all the cache partition, done a factory reset, flashed a stock 5.1.1 but the problem still exists.
i've just rooted my phone with PINGPONG app and I was wondering if there is any app that could give me the option to chage the grid size in the app menu. I am aware that I can change the grid size on the main screen but when you do that there is a difference between the size of the icons on your mai menu and app menu.

It came back for like 5 min yesterday afternoon but then started again. I've already done the factory reset and it's still the same way. I wonder what exactly it changed in the camera firmware? Hopefully improved things or bug fixes.I will test a few videos and see if the bitrate has changed or not.
View 8 Replies View Relatedon certain apps (e.g. Facebook, Pleco Chinese dictionary etc.) scrolling through the News Feed/dictionary list is very choppy, and stutters a lot more than my old HTC Wildfire. I've tried using various update versions with the same lag. Scrolling isn't a problem with other apps/Chrome browser/device menus etc (where the scrolling is buttery-smooth!). Is this due to poorly-optimised apps, or a backend issue like hardware acceleration?
