I'm very new at using Android, and followed a bunch of tutorials to root and delete all the bloatware apps that my gs2 came with.I replaced the stock camera app with Camera Zoom FX, and noticed that the app would crash and force close when I tried switching to video mode.I installed other video-recording apps only to find that they would crash as well.My camera works fine but I think I may have deleted somethin relating to video-recording; is there a way to restore the function
reduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..
I have a problem with my new SGS2 and could not find anywhere a solution for this. When I record a video there is no sound recorded also, only the image... In the camera application there is no option for enable/disable this feature like in the SGS1.
I have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
Open facebook via the fb-app. Go, for instance, to an unilad article with a videoclip. Click on the link and a new page opens with a video from youtube. Click the play button and the video starts and no problem. Click the full screen icon and turn the phone to the side and the video maximizes and fills the screen and stops almost immediately. Reset and clear cache for the apps involved and the video (and all other videos for that matter) runs for a minute or so then the phone hangs fully. Have to remove battery as phone is unresponsive. How to look for the reason for this? Videos do not freeze if not maximized. Videos directly on youtube/vimeo does not freeze.
Phone Samsung S5, latest update, running videos on high capacity wi-fi only.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S2, Model Number :GT-19100M, Android 4.0.3, recently it started crashing on me. I will be reading the news, working on the internet, or downloading Apps suddenly the screen flickers, the internet connection get disconnected, and it shuts down. When I start it again, the battery would be empty (even if it was full before) and it shuts off again. I have to leave it for a while to restart it again for it to work. Today I tried hard restart, also factory re-set and erased every thing on the phone but it still had the same problem.
On older Galaxy S-phones, there used to be a way (thru Samsung Video Player) to grab stills from videos after they are recorded. I can't find a way to do this on my S6 - only to grab stills *during* recording. This seems kind of backwards. Any way to do this on the S6?
Having problems with the sound quality of their video recordings?I have a lot of background noise even in the quietest of rooms.I exchanged my Galaxy S5 after a week because everyone kept saying I sounded muffled and my voicemail sounded muffled too. Verizon swapped me into a new S5 and although the sound of my voice and voicemail are better, the video recording sounds are horrible. If the subject is talking it the background noise takes away from the voice. in a quiet room, still noise even though there is no fan or a/c going and windows are closed. I have enabled the noise reduction in the call sound setting.
When I'm at camera and I turn on slow motion when I start recording the quality looks abit off, not blurry though. I'm wondering if that's normal? when I'm taking pictures, etc it looks very good but when I'm at Slow motion quality is a bit off.
I just bought a SAmsung galaxy S 6 smartphone. While I am recording a video i cannot by any means change the camera to front facing. There is no option no icon only the capture icon on the left (in order to capture in a pic what i am shooting at the moment), the square icon to stop the video and the pause icon on the right corner.
Video Recording App that allows us to control the Volume Level being recorded? I did a test of a recording on a Dance Club last weekend (very loud of course) and while the Video itself was amazing, the sound really sucked because of the distortion.
One defect that I always have with all my Android phones is that when I record a video sometimes the phone lose focus and the image is blurred. It happens with s6?
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?
i believe i found a bug with 3.1. videocamera pauses while video recording when a live paper is being used when wallpaper is just a picture than it works properly.
Recording is fine with the stock camera app, BUT none of the other market apps I've tried can record in HD. e.g. 'aLapRecorderHD', 'Daily Roads Voyager', etc. The market Apps seems to record OK @ 720x480 or anything below. All of the apps I've tried produce corrupt HD video with green artefacts all over the screen. They all work OK on my Nexus1 @ both 720p & 1080pCould anyone with a newer firmware?, try one of the above market apps and see if HD video can be recorded?
Just bought the sgs2 and cant seem to send videos to other mobile phones.Keep getting a message showing (Video file to large).Hmm this might be a silly question but here i go.How the heck do i shrink the file.I take it that the file is ment to be MMS? is this correct and ifso how can i change it over.I was told once that you dont need a long neck to be a goose.
I can't find them in any files. They show up on my phone in the gallary. My phone is plugged into computer. I can see pics to transfer them, but no video.
i just bought a samsung vibrant and after looking at videos sample test on Internet. what's the best setting for video on a samsung vibrant? can you tell me the best setup for the settings if i'm trying to record it as hd.
When I was using Nokia N97, I had an option to use video files as Phone's ringtone. I tried to do the same on my GT-I9100 (ICS 4.0.3) but i am not able to do the same.
I have had my Galaxy SII for around six weeks now and very happy with it but unfortunatly my camera seems to have developed a fault just a few days back. It has three thin black vertical lines down the left of the screen if i view as a portrait or along the bottom if viewed as landscape. The lines are always on the screen when the camera display is active and in any pic or video I would take.
This is my first post and I'm new to the Galaxy S2. I took ownership of a new phone early this week (S2) and did the firmware upgrade over Kies - this seemed to make sense given that it was the official latest release firmware.
I tried to use BBC iPlayer last night. The first time I ran it, it said I needed Flash. It took me to the market and I downloaded Adobe Flash 11.0. I tried iPlayer again. All the menus, navigation etc work, but when I select a program it doesn't show any video. I don't even get the little triangle to click on to play it. I went to the iPlayer website and tried viewing from there - I assume that uses Flash as well, and all worked fine, video and sound.
Who has used the GS II for Video Conferencing? Is it possible to use AllShare while Video Conferencing so I can see the video feed and sound on a large screen TV or Projector?
