I accidently deleted the full contents of the "Camera" folder.ll the photos and video that I had taken in the last 2 months were lost. ( I know I should have backed them up...but I was planning to do it today...not thinking I was going to do something stupid last night!)I have a hunch that the files might be able to be restored...possibly using some sort of restore/recovery software.I have tried 2 software programs so far...Piriform Recuva & Stella Phoenix Photo Recovery.he problem is that neither of them recognise the Samsung Galaxy S II as being present, even though it is plugged in and showing in "My Computer"So...does anyone know of software that does work.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s5, and today I decided to clean some of my files from the "My Files" application. Usually when I clean out the files, everything will be all fine and dandy, but recently (which means, 30 minutes ago), I tapped the "Device Storage." and I did something, and It processed and everything seemed to be fine, because usually when I clean something out , for instance"videos", "Audio." or "Documents.", my photos and such are still there. But when I came back from a quick errand, I went into gallery to see that ALL my photo albums were completely gone. they had vanished, and to where I have no clue. I do not have an sd card, but I do have micro SD Sim installed into my galaxy s5, and I know for a fact that everything in your phone is there for eternity whether or not you deleted it, so right now how to gain back ALL of my five albums filled with photos. I had some beautiful photos that I would hate to lose.
I accidentally deleted my whole photo history today. I had a back-up but there are several irreplaceable photos that I had taken since the last back-up.
I've read the other threads on this topic. I've installed Piriform Recuva and found the DCIM cache but got no further. The Recuva programme doesn't recognise the phone when it's plugged in to the computer.
When I go to storage on the phone, it says there's no sd card inserted (this is probably right - I remember buying one last year but I don't think I ever put it in since I used so little memory), so I can only assume everything's stored on usb or on the phone itself, but I can't see where the usb is to take it out. The only option available under storage there is 'format usb storage', which I don't want to do.
This is not covered in the Voicemail support, and when I searched Google for the string in the Subject of this post I got 0 relevant hits (closest match was how to restore a deleted email from Trash on an S4).
1) Tap the Voicemail icon on your home screens 2) Tap the Arrowhead icon on the right-hand side of the Inbox title bar (see attached image) to drop-down the Voicemail Folder Menu 3) Select the Trash folder (see attached image) 4) Select the Voicemail message you desire to recover 5) Tap the 3-dot icon for the Trash folder context menu in the lower-right corner (see attached image) 6) Choose Restore to Inbox from the menu (see attached image)
Just accepted the new software upgrade last week and it deleted all photos from my phone's memory! They were not backed up. Is there any utility to get them back?
I keep my music on my SD card on my Galaxy S5. The other day I plugged the card into my computer, went to the music file, checked that there was only music in there, and deleted all of the songs. Then, the next day I noticed that all of my photos were gone. How this may have happened and how to get my pictures back? My photos were supposed to sync to google, but I guess they didn't because I can't find them anywhere.
My Samsung Galaxy S5 memory was getting full so I moved 7.6 GB worth of photos onto my SD card (a 64GB micro SD card). It all went through fine and I could see that the photos had been moved to the SD card.
I went back to my the "Images" icon under the "My Files" icon and deleted them off what I thought was my internal phone's memory.
On reopening the SD card contents I have lost ALL the photos I moved plus other photos I'd previously moved to my SD card. How do I get these back???
I realized today that all of my photographs and videos had been deleted off my Galaxy S5. I'm not sure how it happened... All of the recovery apps I've found won't work on files lost before the app was installed, and the only Windows based programs I've been able to find require the phone to be recognized as a USB device, which doesn't seem like an option for the S5. The phone is not rooted. How to recover the deleted files?
Im new to the world of Android, got myself and Samsung s5 after owning iPhones last 6 years. Now my annoyance is when I upload my photos to my PC all my deleted photos show up. WHY?
When I try to upload all my photos from my galaxy s6 edge the photos application opened up and all of my photos including deleted photos and weird photos that I have never seen. I am guessing those photos are maybe from the internet. When I look at my files on my phone and uncheck the hidden files box, I don't see any of these files there either. Where can I get rid of all these random pictures and how can I prematurely get rid of deleted photos?
After upgrading to ICS the SMS setting changed to delete old messages once 200 messages were reached. I didn't realise this and so some of my old messages have been deleted. Is there any chance I could retrieve any of these? I can't find the file location for the sms messages.
I sent an SMS text message to someone yesterday from the default Messaging app and could thereafter see it sitting there in the "Conversations" list. My phone then ran out of battery and turned itself off overnight after which I've since given it a full recharge. However, that text message I sent has now disappeared from the conversations list and although I can see the start of it under the contact's name in the Contacts app, it responds by telling me it's been deleted when I try to select it. I did see an option in the settings to "Delete Old Messages" which was enabled but given that I had a total of 1 text message on the phone then I assume that was not the culprit.
I have 2 e-mail accounts; mail drops into each as it should. When I open my e-mail on my PC, mail drops into my accounts (Outlook) and is deleted from the server. At that point the e-mails are also still on my phone. However when I next switch from one account to the other on the phone, all e-mails are deleted from both accounts on the phone. This was never a problem with my HTC Wildfire, when I would delete mail on the phone manually, which is what I want to do now.
I use Outlook for business email and my SG2 for it while away. On return I find that the mail has been deleted from the server so is not available for Outlook. I have found no setting on the SG2 for stopping this whereas it is available on my partners HCT.
I got my Galaxy S2 this morning i had a HTC Sensation previously i backed everything up using ES File explorer everything has been transferred over to my new phone music pictures etc it's just the sms i don't have a clue how to restore
i made a backup of my gs2 with kies pc , and it was successfully done and saved, then i made a full reset of my phone and after that i am trying to restore my phone via kies pc with the same file but.after it says "preparing to start restore process" if gives me the screen "data restoration has been interrupted due to an error please retry........"
I did a reset last night to try to fix my overheating issue. Now I can't figure out how to restore all my photos from google to gallery. I checked Google under accounts and Gallery is not listed under sync.
I'm trying to find a program or app that recovers deleted videos on the internal storage of an android device. I've found one that recovers photos only, but no go on video recovery so far. I am unable to root as it is a Verizon S5 and the only available root methods require a destructive root. My cloud service did not have time to upload it before it was deleted, so all I have is a corrupt file. I have Dr.fone, but it stays stuck at 90%. Recuva doesn't recognize the device as a searchable drive.
Last night I picked up my Galaxy SII and must have accidentally deleted my AccuWeather widget off my home screen. I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.
I rooted my phone some while back in order to do backup. Now I need to restore to original - completely. I have the USB key/dongle if that matters. Are there any easy step-by-step how-to that describes the process to restore so that the phone isn't rootet and there is no programs left that isn't original?
