Samsung :: Any Docks/cradle That Would Work For The Nexus?
Feb 16, 2011I'm not quite sure if the Nexus One uses the same micro USB on the bottom. Me thinks I can use other cellphone's dock/cradle.

Motorola Webtop Docks :: Making Lapdock 500 Work
Oct 9, 2012I still struggle with the lapdock after the ICS downgrade. 1. Opera seems to work better than the native browser or Chrome. Flash works well on Opera. 2. To help the jumping cursor - Disable the tap to select and use the buttons to right and left click. 3. The latest upgrade on Citrix Beta works well, and I can use Office 2010 on my server. The automatic zoom on tap - I wish I could find out how to disable that. The text select option may work on a tablet but is just frustrating on the lapdock. When I answer the phone, the person calling comes over the phone speaker, not the lapdock speaker - making it difficult to hear them. There is still no support whatsoever. I am very concerned that the update to JB will further impair the lapdock functionality. about JB and the Lapdock?

Feb 29, 2012The track pad on my new 500 does nothing. I'm using a Photon. Everything seems to work fairly well, except for the track pad, which doesn't move the cursor. I can use a USB or Bluetooth mouse and they control the cursor fine. Swiping, dragging, scrolling, clicking, basically any form of movement on the track pad you try does nothing.

Feb 10, 2012Searching for "greater" or "less" wasn't working too well. I am using a Droid bionic with the latest updates, and the original bionic lapdock. In Firefox, the greater < and > work fine. However, in the mobile view, < and > appear as : and ; respectively. I tested this in a few different apps. Since those symbols share the same buttons on the soft keyboard, it looks like they are just mapped wrong. All the other symbols work fine in mobile view, including those which require a shift.

Apr 28, 2012I bought a nexus yesterday and have been unable to register it with the American samsung site (no options for us canadians there) not to mention the fact that after typing in my serial the site says my handset was manufactured 1/31/1993!
On the canadian site which i have all my other samsung products registered, there is no listing for my model number (GT-I9250TSDTLS (this is whats on the box, phone menu just lists my model as Samsung Galaxy Nexus, though the label under that battery shows GT-I9250M as the model number..how am I supposed to register my phone?[URL]..shows that galaxy owners can get a free copy of angry birds space... how do I get that?

Jan 30, 2012Word on the street is that there may be a refreshed Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming. I wasrReading over at Android and Me and this thread caught my attention:The rumors state that there is going to be a refreshed camera. Possibly along the way of 8.0MP. On top of that, the processors are scheduled to be refreshed using The faster SGX544 GPU is included with Texas Instruments upcoming OMAP4470 processor. This is the successor to the original OMAP4460 found in the Galaxy Nexus, that includes the older SGX540 GPU.With the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus coming soon we'll have to wait and see if they are in fact getting a refreshed model or the LTE based model that Verizon has currently, Either way, I hope they do launch a refresh on the HSPA+ line as well. I use the Galaxy Nexus and while I love the phone, I wish the camera was better. Faster is always better as well so I'll take the processor bump.

Jan 18, 2016I tried to install Cataclysm ROM, and then it went into some sort of installer, after that I tried to reboot, but TWRP said it didn't have any OS?? So i tried to boot it up anyway? but nothing, just stuck on Google Logo. After that I tried to boot into TRWP agian. But then TWRP says "Mount Decrypt Data" and then i have to enter a password?? but i removed my pattern lock before flashing.
Because i made a Nandroid and i read i had to remove the password before making a backup. But then i just press cancel. Then it says " Unmodified System Partition" "Swipe to Allow Modifications" and i do that. Now i have nothing on my SD card?? Then i thought i could flash stock through Fastboot/ADB, but now it won't see my device in ADB? I have updated my drivers, both by Google and Intel But nothing? so i cant return to stock and can't boot up.
Some how i got i to reboot by an ADB command and then i could flash factory image and return to stock.
Google Nexus 5 :: ADB Won't Work
Aug 28, 2015Before explaining what the problem is, I want to state I have searched Google, XDA and various other websites to solve it myself. I do know the #1 rule of XDA
Today I've tried to use ADB Sideload to install a rom on my Nexus 5. I've done this before one time, when I accidentally formatted my entire phone, and it worked. Currently my phone is in TWRP Recovery, and ADB does recognize my phone when I type in 'adb devices' in the command prompt. However, when I click ADB Sideload on TWRP to sideload the rom from my laptop, the phone disconnects from my laptop (I hear the 'ding' from Windows), and I can't sideload anything at all.
I did update all possible drivers (ADB and Google), tried all USB-ports available, and even tried another laptop, but nothing worked.

My husband got it for me because I love my Mac and wanted a phone that would sync my music, calendar and contacts with minimal frustration.However, the iPhone is more than I really need and AT&T's coverage is horrendous in my area.I am thinking of switching to Verizon and I believe the Samsung Reality would suit my needs as a phone.Does anyone know if I will be able to get it to cooperate with my Mac?I am not averse to work-around and third party apps as long as they come with clear technophobe friendly instructions.Any information or suggestions would be welcome.

Dec 1, 2015The LCD works perfectly. Images that are displayed are correct, colors are good, but the touch aspect of it does not work. Occasionally the touch would come back but 95% of the time, the screen doesn't respond to touches. The phone wasn't dropped or anything. It just decided one day to crap out on the touch. Would it be easier to just replace the digitizer and not waste money to buy the whole screen assembly? Not to mention the replacement screens on eBay are probably not as good as the original OEM screen.
